Level Of Difficulty at Work: 0 out of 10 (just going through the motions..)
NapTime During Lunch: 30 min.

So a couple of things.. Dong is back from Germany for good.. Welcome back to the real world..

and another was, Roxanne and i saw The Passion Of The Christ. For me, the movie reminded me of this old play that we had to do in the 8th grade. Bert and I were the roman guards, Roz was one of the 12 disciples, Paul missed a fun time. The Passion also reminded me of the 12 stations of the cross. I think this movie is for those who've always read the bible passages and heard the stories of the Persecution and Cruxifiction of Christ but want to see it in 'live action'.
I just don't get what all the hoopla is all about. Movies are with the arts. They are images / visions / ideas / stories told by the creator. i'm not saying it's bad, i'm just saying that if you believe in god and all that happens in the bible. Then this movie is a visual way of depicting it. We thought of it more as one of them history channel stories.. 'Jesus: the last days'. but then it won't be making all the money that it is currently.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 28 min.

yesterday we were all over the place. it's good to *cough* call in *cough* for a day. Well, it was for the better. Roxanne and i did the home inspection. We talked to the wife of the home and she was cool and told us a bit of this place.

Good:
Obviously, the view.
Good ambient light entering da house.
Home is mostly done.
BBQ built into the landscaped backyard. I sense very nice gatherings over yonder.
Two Poles, one flag, one lamp.
Parking, a whole lotta.

Bad:
Theres a bus line that goes right next to the house. But they only run on dayhours. (oi!)
This home is designated the 'flaghouse'.. can i hang on the flagpole all day? (most likely not)
Theres a 18$/year 'association fee' and if you don't pay, your name gets blacklisted on this annual association letter.. silly peoples.
Other than the flag thing, the house is the yearly winner of 'best lawn'. i dunno, i've seen some good lawns in the area.

The only things we might do is:
The upstairs varnish on the hardwood floors need to be redone. The owners said they didn't wait enough and just started putting layers on it, now it's bubbling and peeling..
We might want to eventually put like slate tiles to replace the vinyl on the kitchen floor. The upstairs bathrooms got slate tiles already.. weee!
Also maybe replace the dining room chandelier..

Weeee, more $$ i guess this is what 'project' really means..

Don't have time to scribble.. all i gotta say is when i wake up in the morning and i see this:

Woo!
oh ya, and Mattys gonna enjoy this one, but my house has not one but Two Poles! imma gonna get my pole pic with a view.. mwahaha!

Emotional Coaster Goes Down..

so the 1st hard hurdle to go though is over, i guess the house is mine.. the 2nd BIGGEST hurdle is getting the monies.. they want this.. they want that.. but it's stupid requests.. like say Bri borrowed money from me.. i'd say, ok, i'll lend you the money, if you buy me a slice of 'the farmer's daughter' from Pizza Orgasmica(their pizza is ok, buffet is good for the price though!) and a large Aguas Frescas from Celias AND you must bring it to me while riding a camel and meet me in 45min at the middle of Market and Main streets.. Then i'll think about loaning you the money.. (aren't you glad you borrowed it then?)
it's like 'eh?!' How silly can you go?

Sat Around at work.. lala..

Emotional RollerCoaster Goes Straight

Ooooo so out of nowhere they want $595k, but with goodies that'll sorta compensate, but i don't think they do. I'm starting to think they're jerking us around and since we're new buyers, they want to see what they can run away with.. Screw that! It's all about being able to let go.. Actually i was looking at another house already. To me if this house works, at the way we want it.. thats cool.. if not, theres always other ones.. The one i was looking at is 3bd/2ba, 525k.. a Whole lot cheaper!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 4 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: Nada

Weeee i get to hang out at City Hall! They trusted me with another high-performance vehicle! mwahahaha! Due to all this madness that everybody's been watching on the news, i get to watch it from inside.. We had our squads n what not setup, but the only thing that escalated was the two groups started a yelling match by where the civil court is located, which is across the street. I was Tactical Command.. kinda cool to see how everything happens behind the scenes, but scary that somehow i'm there in the midst of it..

Continuation of Emotional RollerCoaster.. Coaster goes down..

Whelp, they said they found someone else with $595, since we didn't want to go for it. Oh well, there goes that home..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 4 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 52min!!! (woohoo! got knocked out!)

i killed the high performance vehicle!! The one with the flashie lights n what not.. yea, it died on South Van Ness and Mission. I think the transmission took a dump or the Alternator Went sizzle.. Woohoo!

Note, these entries were entered on the 21st of feb. Buying a house is one Seriously #*&^#(&$*(%& experience. Coaster Goes Down.

So yesterday, we decided to backoff on the $595k and my realtor decided not to even contact the home peoples, and what do we get? They are thinking of our $580k.. okay.. We do this..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 4 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: Nada

The house wars begin! There is this lovely house that roxanne and i adore. It's got an excellent view and all that goodness, and it's on sale for $549k goodlord!! While we were there at the open house, there were a jumble of peoples. We were going to bid $565k for it, but ended going all out, to our max, $580k.. Well the counter-bid is $595.. alas, i'm still confuzed by my realtor.. it seems that if it's $595, then the bid is even 'considered' but then isn't a counter-bid like a 'ok, you want it for 580.. i want it for 600.. and you go until you agree.. So if i went for it (Which is super-beyond) then would the guy still go.. oh. how about 600? i dunno, i sensed bad mojo and couldn't go the extra 15k.. i hate to let this house go, but if thats what they want. *shrug* then it's beyond my reach. Oi.. the hunt for other houses continue i suppose. i wonder if it was a rouse to get more $$.. i won't know until a few days later. lalala..
i hate it that since i do mainly nothing at work, i looked at housing prices. 2 years ago 350's, 380's.. 420's.. were 'entry' range.. now it's 520?? holy! Even in East Palo Alto.. murderville of Ka-lee-four-knee-yah has houses at 575k.. i know i enjoy ballistics, but does it mean i gotta use it in everyday neighborhood life?

Speaking of which i just had another order of 80gr's.. Weee.. cranked out another 50.. i haven't touched my reloader in a month! i need this crazy weather to stop so that i can try out my pre-cious!!

what that... ?

i bought roxanne a bunch of movies a week ago and we decided to watch some of them. One of them being Breakfast at tiffany's. We both thought it had something to do with the extravagant jewelers but they only played a little part in it.. The movie was played like a play and i dunno, George Peppard plays the main man in the movie and all i can see is him looking for his black van and his cigar from the A-Team.. That movie does inspire one to smoke and to an extent drink like theres no tommorrow, and that you can annoy someone without due.
Strange Movie.. We did see a part in the movie in which roxanne did on her movie Sorority Boys where she laughs and then cries while looking at the mirror. They got it from Breakfast at Tiffany's!

I won a 2$ certificate for actually scoring 3rd place on the slow-fire prone on the screwed up match of mine. I only shot 2 of the 4 stages. And i still win something.. jeez!

My shooting boys report to me that my 80grain 600 yard bullets worked magic with them. I don't know if they actually know it worked or if it was just some psychological boost or something. Anyways they want more.. MORE bullets!! Mwahaha!

Weeee!!
Happy Valentines Day!

Roxanne and i went off to hunt down the mysterious town of.. Bolinas.. It's mysterious because the legend goes that the townsfolk tear down any signs that show anything that gives direction to this little hamlet. We hung out at Stinson Beach for a bit and eventually found this place. It's about 3 streets. 2 of them with homes and the other with shops.. I have not seen many Peace Signs on Barns like this place. Back to peace, love and happiness..
Afterwards, we wandered to the town of Olema.. Theres happy cows over there!
Where the heck are we going?
i dunno, does it matter?

Woohoo!!

She said yes.. i think my xmas present of the zebra patterned Lava Lamp Given to me by Roxannes Uncle Donnie and Aunt Mary pushed her decision through! Lava Lamps Rule!! They just take forever to start up! =
Now it's time for the next step in life to begin.. Wow.. we are getting old! *Scary!*

In other whacky news.. Too bad it's not me, but it's one of my fellow 'cousins'.. I'm still waiting for the Pimp daddy J. Lee Action Figure!
p.s. Secret Note: none of these people are in the 'SRT'..

So i'm a bastard.. yea you can call me that..
Do i have anything planned for valentines? nope.. why not? 'cuz i've snuck into Roxannes place as we speak and it's time for someone to get Engaged..
Roses.. Check..
Bought her little things that she wanted for valentines.. check.
Making dindins.. Check..
Got Ring? uh.. Wheres the ring!? heh j/k.. Check..

We do this!
So how does one know when it's time? For me the only way i can explain it is.. When i'm shooting at a match, there are those few times where everything you did to make the shot placement comes together. And You're standing there waiting for it to be scored. But you Know you got the 'X' ring.. whelp, it's like that.. You just know when you know...

Let's see what happens!

Bah!!! Always something going wrong!

When will it end? Last shoot this little part broke, and i replaced it with a spare one. I never knew where that broken part went to, but it found itself hiding under the front part of the trigger, thus limiting the full travel of the trigger. What does this mean? It means gun no go boom.. That's HELLA Weak! I had to quit the match halfway, so there that goes. Oi!

I got about 35 rounds off.. 23, then the jam and then another 12. The first 23, didn't feel right. There was something in the air, i felt all swaying and not grounded.. My sight picture was all over the place.. oi! need more, meditation..

Anyways, its now time to hunt down a house! Doodoo! Roxanne and i saw a few places, but none of them floated our boats.. $500k doesn't buy you anything anymore. Last year it was 450's.. Year before that was 390's.. Oi!!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 4 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: Zero Min

Work was fun, i got to ferret myself around all the secret rooms that nobody every goes to. i was showing these electricians places to tap into live lines for adding sockets and in the provess i've found the ultimate nap room!.. that is if i have the keys to it.. neakneak!

Went home, i forgot to add that i usually see this kid on a bmx on monterey blvd. and also this dood that sits on a bench on Monterey and Congo. This guy is funky fresh, he wears one of them chiquita bananna hats.. yep, the one with the fruits on it.. Goofy folk.

Back to trimming and chamfering 2nd shot brass.. 1.750" ahh yea.. i should put up on my webpage how this whole process takes.. Hmmmz.. one day, one day..

Add to that, i found my old decks of Magic: the gathering.. ahh yea!! i've got the urge to play but who still has a deck?

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 3.5 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 16Min

Couldn't sleep well last night.. Fricking cellphone.. i've turned of the 'notifications' sound. Which is supposed to turn off all the annoying beeps.. well it did except for the 'low battery' beep.. and my cellphone's special skill was beeping 'low battery' around 3am.

Went to work, nothing fun happened at work.. Nothing fun happens anymore. I must be an O.G. then.

I've completed my chamfering of the 1,000 brass from Scharch.com. Then i separated all my 'twice-shot' shells. I've found out that there is a difference between 5.56x45 and .223remington. Great.. So in the name of consistancy one goes in one pile, the other in the other. After that it's back to brass trimming n what not.. weeee!

On a sidenote.. i find it funny that most of the Matrix blogs that i normally go to have somewhat totally stopped. There goes my philosophical meanderings..

Tuesday, February 03, 2004

hahaha.. i just remembered stories of this legendary town.. The one where theres a bend in the road, and if you miss it, you'll miss the whole town.. The town of Minkler.. now it's on sale! Hmmz, should i buy a house for 500k.. or own a town for 600k.. Population 30!! Two properties.. one a 2bd/1ba house, the other a mobile home!
Sweet!

Returned the tool.. Downloaded and watched episodes of 1-50 of naruto. And chamfered some more .223's..

Woo! Returned the borrowed tool, borrowed the correct tool. I used it for a whole minute if that at most. Tightened up the bottom bracket. Put on the cranks, good as new.. Time to ride..
Another ToAsTy Approved item..
i've used this stuff on almost EVERYTHING that needs grease.. It's Finish Line's Premium 100% Synthetic Grease.. I use it on anything that gets threaded, bolted, tightened. When i took out the old bottom bracket, you could still see the white grease in the grooves.. Sweet teflon goodness.. *Drool*
Also Approved is..
Stoner's Invisible Glass Cleaner.. Yea you see the ads in all the magazines. It really does make glass look invisible!
