Whoa....

i was searching on my blog for anything related to citibank and i realized that i've started the blog thang one year ago.. crazy!!! Too many aniversary's to remember! Hmmz what happened in augusts of yore???
Aug 4, 1998: Bought and Drove Delilah..
Aug 12, 2003: Started blogging..
Aug 14, 2001: Changed to Permanent status at work (ya can't fire me now! mwahhaha!)

Anyways i forgot to scribble about this one credit card. (which is why i was searching for citibank if i remembered writing about it.) This is the puppy to get! The Citibank Dividend Platinum Select Card.. Thats what i'm talking about! 5% cash back at supermarkets, drug stores, and gas stations.. Now how does one figure out a supermarket? Does my Korean bul go gi connection count? it is a supermarket. How about target? wal-mart? they sell food and drugs..
This card also for me has one of the lowest APR's of the cash back cards. Most cash back cards do you at 13%+ The citibank one is 11%.. Like it matters if it's all paid off..

So today i got my haircut.. Went to the tuxedo pad and got the orders going. And got my back cracked! Time to get my gang suited and booted..

oh ya i also got some silly picture add-on to the blog.. i'm gonna play with it to see how i like it.. I've already got webspace.. Can't say no to more! I also got a G-mail account going.. 1GB of space?? how many emails can you get!? My oldold Macintosh 7100 80mhz has a 500mb Hard drive.. and it's got ALL my emails from the beginning of time.. Anybody know how to transfer emailboxes from Eduora Pro 3.0 for mac? heh

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 30min

It's like playing Contra on old school NES!

common, you remember don'tcha?? up, up, down,down, left,right,left,right, B,A,B,A,Select,Start..
I've just had my home line and i've been getting fax machine calls early in the morning. Great! so i call pacbell to complain. And normally they'd do this phone number tracking thing. Well this time they found the solution to stop fax machines from calling.. You press 1 through 0. Press and hold star for 3 seconds and then the Pound sign. I did it and it seems to work.. let's see what happens!

Other news. My computers falling apart. The desktop kept on restarting or having whacky Blue Screens of Death (BSOD).. When that happens it's usually 1 of two things.. the HeatSink fan is broken, or you have bad ram. Well i have one of the best, Corsair PC2700 Cas2.0 256 sticks.. I decide to take them apart and i saw these little parts, like the micro transistors n what not. At least the corsair has lifetime warranty.. and they better honor it! Well i also decided to zap the whole hard drive as well. The system has got probably tons of registry madness throughout the year.

Fluffielady's parents came over again and hung out for once instead of running around doing things. The only thing we did do was the invitations. So they're coming! I finally get to use my seal!

How tweaked is this!

So, we went to Beverages and More to order 3 cases of our drink for the wedding. We asked if there were any bulk discounts and the guy says there isn't any. So the order comes and we go to pick it up. We buy it and then look at the reciept when we were walking out and it says 10% discount if you order online.. Ok, so we ask the guy and he says 'i still can't get you the discount unless you order online..' what is this about?! So we return the 40 bottles, and go online, and the online order only has 7.. hahahaha So i'm emailing them this convoluted crap.. Online they have a thing where if you order $250, you get a 5% discont.. hahaha how whacked can this get??

Today seemed to fly! I wake up at 8:20am and then all of a sudden it's 11am.. and then 3pm.. jeez!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 36min
View From home: 9.5 of 10 (the new standard)

Today is the first time i get to see where the water meets the horizon.. it's even more breathtaking than ever. You can see the slight curve of the horizon..
Work is lala..
Home is being cleaned more n more.. My home has 2 front lights, one by the door and the other by the gate. Well the light by the gate has no switch of anysort.. I've looked and looked, at least i've found how it's powered, which is in the garage. So i'm gonna splice a switch and hopefully it'll work.. if not, then its gonna be one of those switches that does nothing.. heh

oi, my router is acting whacky.. Certain ip addresses the router won't give access to. Superqueer indeed. The only way i can make it work is to reset everything, which means all the MAC addresses are gone.. weaksauce! At least it works again..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1 out of 10 (Well it was all classroom stuff)
NapTime During Lunch: zero

i am soo glad i have the largest trunkspace i have ever seen on a sportbike.. The invites arrive.. which means the next phase of the madness will begin.. i've been playing with Mikrosoft Access for a bit and it's not doing what i've been wanting it to.. maybe Excel is the way.. i dunno.. Access supposed to have cool SQL functions and what not but it's not working for me.. It's most likely operator error.. Can't even find a simple name on the list! Anyways back to the SportBike Trunk issue.. it was that last tidbit of space where i fit the rest of the wedding invites..
yep, i LOVE my Timbuk2 Messenger bag.. It's the only bag that i've had for more then a few years! I think i had it since '97-'98.. The last big thing i fit in the bag was a Motherboard box and a maxtor HD box!

work is lala.. Was in class with Mr. 10-8.. It was fun.. Tactical Communications though conjures up images of hand signals in covert operations.. But nooo, i dunno why they named it the way they did but it's just conversating.. like.. 'yo, wassup dawg?' how tactical is that?? Whatever, the moral of the story is to Empathize. Ooooo!! 'ya feel me mang?'

NapTime During Lunch: didn't check..

Workworkwork.. is there no end?

Some peoples may be wondering when our housewarming action is gonna be.. yanno, we're like 90% cleaned up.. one day the official one will appear.. heh
Got a new toy from a co-worker.. He's selling all his toys 'cuz he doesn't trust his kids with them.. jeez! whats that about?
Fiddled with the new webpage design.. i guess the best way is to steal other peoples sources and then reengineer them to work for you.. i'm trying to add new things.. maybe it's better to leave it all simple.. i dunno.. but Frames are Soooo 90's..

Whelp Mr. 8ball got back his soul..

Fluffielady and i were about to head out to Napa for a few cases of Moscato, but after going to their webpage. It costs 20$ a bottle! 10% off after a dozen ($18).. Weak!!! Back in the day it was 15$ with 10% off after 12 bottles ($13.50). But now due to modern distribution process, Beverages and more sells them for 16$ each.. Sure theres no 1.5hour drive around the beautiful valleys and hills but we didn't really feel for it..
other than that we just vegged out (finally)..

Sillycar!! whelp, drove over and found out through the OBD-ii reader that there was a misfire twice in cylinder #1.. ok.. so i'm guessing that either the sprk plug was sucking or that the engine was cold and was trying to go uphill or a combination of the two. Tim of Tomas Motorsports tells me that Bosch Platinum +4's suck.. So i get another set of plugs.. These were about 30k miles old anyways. I go and try to remove the New Dimensions Cables and the wire comes off the boot! Piece of !@^%$!! In silly Volkswagens, the spark plugs are pretty deep inside these wells on the top of the engine.. It requires a special tool to remove and install the wires. Well the tool comes stock with all VW's but it's made of Nylon, which is 70% of the car. But the tool breaks! So thats more !^%*!!! So i go to like a bunch of mechanics and call a bunch of dealerships and automotive shops and NOBODY sells it.. SuperWeakSauce!!!
Finally i find this one place at 3rd street called Advanced Auto Service Aaron of Advanced auto graciously lent me a Metal VW SparkPlug Boot Removal Tool. And also i've kept my old plugwires. So new plugs for Delilah! woohoo! Shes up n running now!

Then went home and vegged, for once.. Cleaned up a bit of the house. The Capt'n came over and is leaving his moto, which i'm gonna babysit for a while.. It's gonna suck.. now i got 2 choices in transportation.. doh! heh He's gonna be heading off to his motherland on thursday.. International Man of Action!
p.s. only a few know of where i'm blogging.. it's good to be wireless!

i forgot to scribble in another wierd dream i had 2 nights ago.. i was on a giant boat, like a tanker ship. But the ship wasn't in the water, it was sorta floating above the city. Well i touched something and then all of a sudden the ship starts to sink, by filling in with water.. It was filling in with water but the ship was above ground.. Howdooyoodoodat? i wondered, then i woke up..

worked.. went to the s.f. house and helped my brother fix a bicycle for his friend who was fixing it for his friend.. so what is that 4th generation bicycle repair? My brother thought the frame was screwed but i managed to fix the puppy, a rear derailuer and chain change.. Now say that 5times fast..

i went to check out if a fuse was blown on my car, but i couldn't find any. But the fusecase which holds all the fuses are deep inside. i could only see so many. Bah.. anyways tommorrow it's off to Tomas MotorSports..

Drove Delilah around, the check engine light is still on but nothing seems wrong with her.. Silly! Went to my aunts place with Roz.. he's now on a familyplan.. everybodys on a familyplan now! saving money! thats what it's about!
Afterwards i had the best chilean sea bass ever.. at the Hyde Street Seafood House.. Mmm clam chowder.
Now i must plan for labor day weekend..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 3 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 41min

yesterday was a queer day.. i just knew that it woulda been a bad day.. i felt like slush but at least i made a batch of 600yd bullets.. Laterwards the bed hath finally arrived! But the rails on the bed are wide, but are short like 2"!!!%^!$#!%^!! We slept on it but i think i need to get used to it.. it's plush but it's hard.. it's got the individually wrapped coils and all that, and a 3" memory foam as a pillowtop.. it's supercool though!

Today fluffielady's parents came with a handmade closet for the walk-in at the master bedroom.. Well they bought new rails it's long enough but it needs 1/2" in width! more !&^*&!@%$!!!! One day we'll find the correct rail. It reminds me of those days in fresno in which it took like 4hrs to find a place to eat.. after you eat your lunch it's dinner time! oi.. or the time where i went to look for 3mm x 8mm allen head bolts.. the great hunt for stuff.. How gay can this get?

Monday, August 09, 2004

i dunno why i did it but i guess for $5.03 it's worth it.. i bought some USB Flylight Fans from Woot.com. Thats right WootWoot!! they have the most random deals that are on sale for 24hrs.. The Flylight fans were $.01 each and a max order of 3.. the only killer was shipping.. $5.. but now i'm being blown away from all directions! Actually i have the greatest idea for a CPU cooling action! fans blowing towards the computer everywhich way! madness! Well it's not like the computer has heating issues.. so whatever fits my whimsey..

in other news, delilah isn't liking pacifica or something.. I drove her down the hill, turned right and then i heard a popping sound.. afterwards the check engine light turns on for the very first time! uh oh! it drove ok, nothing happened after.. but i wonder what was that about? oi back to Tomas Motorsports.. Silly cars..

Saturday, August 07, 2004

Whelp i guess i didn't have the jacket.. I left a message to my shooting buddy and he called back saying that i left the jacket with him.. I have a way with leaving jackets in peoples cars.. *heh*
So today i made more bullets, and started looking at Tuxedos.. So off i go to places like Selix, Mens Warehouse, Macy's. And all the wares that i saw looked like suits.. so whats the diff? It's not cut differently. Also the styles that i do like, well, it's not made anymore.. what is this??

I finally got to hang at Roz's condo, it's cool. i like to describe it as Banana Republic.. you know, when you step into one.. It's white walled, Hardwood floor, all the furniture is black with glass table tops, tall ceilings with tall doors.. It's good to have a 'theme' of sorts..
oi, work, for one more day..

ahhh yea first blog in bed.. i'm now one of the laptop whores.. only thing is that the battery doesn't last that long.. 1:40?? jeez! Well tommorrow i was supposed to shoot but i can't find my gear.. Moving always displaces stuff and i don't like that! i haven't shot my monthly deal since i got to the new house..
i finally moved my tumbler over, and tumbled a bit of .40's.. So this means that i'm on the 2nd time reloading these puppies. Most of the brass looks ok, some have stretchmarks but no cracks on the base or the neck... yet..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 31min

i've figured out my new exercise routine.. it's easy.. i just run down the hill and back up.. and if i feel saucy enough, maybe twice! Today i was riding my moto home and i saw John the Mailman, (yes i know my neighborhood peoples already.. scary) at the middle of the hill towards the house.. I thought nothing of it until i got home and got my mail. Lo and behold the mailman has attempted to deliever my laptop, which i didn't know if it was to come or not (no email correspondance whatsoever)! I get the notice and it flashed in my mind if Mailman John had it.. So i bolted outside, down the hill and caught up with him delievering mail, and he did have it. Woohoo! So i run back up the hill and man o man.. I drive up and down the hill, i moto up n down the hill.. Running up n down it is gonna be fun.. Shoot i should ride my bicycle up n down this puppy.. Maybe i should make more safeway runs now.. hmmmz i need a bicycle lock though.. haven't had one since '98 when i lost it somewhere.

So the box that john handed me wasn't that big, and it was pretty light. I open the box and it's mainly that annoying peanut fluff stuff that gets everywhere. And in the middle of it was the whole thing, docking station and all. The docking station AND laptop looked like a normal 14" laptop, but man this thing is tiny! it came with crap win98, and now i've zapped the drive and the software is almost done. My mobilewebsurfer is almost ready!

Ahh yea.. a day of rest.. Went and snapped some caps.. I'm beginning to find the powder charge.. 4.3grains on my USP gives it point of aim/impact.. 4.5grains goes a bit too high at 15yards. So i'm guessing it's 4.4grains for a six-o-clock hold.. Next is group tightness via overall length.. Stock length for most ammo is 1.120" and the longest i've loaded them is at 1.163" (Some 1911 guys load 1.185" to 1.2"!) which still clears the mag.. So i have .04" of play to figure out best length due to bullet jump while in chamber. It's assumed that the closer the bullet is to the lands and grooves the tighter group.. maybe i should go longer than 1.163".. it's all about the function of recoil (and pressure) is due to the internal cavity area between the primer and bullet.

Anyways, moved some stuff around.. Theres boxes and neverending boxes of SHOES! At least they are in boxes, which are stackable! woohoo!

Finished watching the band of brothers.. The people in WWII era earn my deepmost respect.. To be flown across the world barely old enough to drink. To fight for a few years, come back and never complain, bitch, or moan. They just went back to where they left off. I wish things were like that. But no, Hippies and Liberals want looove and compassion.. Lets take all your money and help these poor druggies who don't know what they are doing.. Someones down and out.. ok, i can see that, but someones been down and out for oh.. 5, 10 years.. common now.. They should follow the examples of the brave men of WWII. Who just did their thing and went home. Thats what i'm talking about..

Ahh yea digression.. Time to Linkage news..
So for you Happy Bunny folk, Hot topic is having a Happy Bunny Clearance.
My dream robotic vaccuum is coming! but who knows when it's coming.. The New roomba which does it's thing and goes back for a recharge!
Added a few links on the toasty approved side.. And i'm still trying to figure out what to do for my next revision of my webpage! one day.. one day..

NapTime During Lunch: 25min (SuperDeepSnoringICouldHearItMySelfSleep.)

Goodness it's august already!!!
I must be going ebay crazy or something but i decided to get a used laptop instead of a $1k puppy.. I got a ultra-thin+lite Pentium3 750 with docking station (which houses the cd-rom) for 300.. It's gonna be my web surfer computer, and possible image vault when traveling. 2.5lbs 12" screen.. ahh yea, i'm gonna blog in bed! outside! across the street if i wanna!

I also sniped myself a jabra bt250 for 61$ ($74 after shipping). Sorry D, you might be able to snipe yourself one also.. Bluetooth wireless earpiece for the ballerphone!

After work Capt'n D and i moto'd our way to Fry's for a wireless card for my future lappy. Afterwards we decided to head up to La Honda and to Alice's for foodage but got there and weren't pleased by the dinner menu.. So we decided to ride back to frisco.. Well the ride on Highway 35 was damp, dark, foggy and wet. It gets sketchy, but it's all mental and practice always gives you more confidence. I'm glad 8ball didn't come along.. 1st do the twisties, then go for the all-condition riding..
