ahh yea time to add to the ToAsTy'S Unapproved list goes to Go Kart Racer of burlingame, CA.. Theres rules and theres tore up customer service. We went to our back-cracking buddy's birthday which involved some karting and then dindins. You go through a video and what not and you get your gear and get ready. This woulda been my 3rd time karting. One of the rules is if you break the kart, it's over, no more raceing. Well lucky me, i start and i get halfway into the track and i get into a left hand 90-degree, turn. It wasn't no 180-degree hairpin which this track has 2. I overturn and hit the bumper edge and the left wheel of the kart gets all misaligned. It wasn't a head-on hit, it wasn't a serious thump, and i have been thumped a many a times karting! I get out the kart, and i thought i was gonna get another one since i just began.. Nope.. you broke it.. too bad.. 50$ gone in oh, 30 seconds. I tried to complain, they said that it's the rules, bye bye.. Now i see if i was in a destructive mood i can see getting the boot, but what is this about? It wasn't on purpose, i hit the wall and thats it? I've bounced off many walls. This BS made in china go-kart stuff they have there is a setup!
The other thing was that the first group of racers paid 30$ for 10 minutes (3$ a min?!), the second group wanted an extended play which was 50$ (45$ to race, 5$ for a yearly licence) for 15 minutes. I originally paid 30.. then upped it to 50 since i had to go with the group. No partial refund, nada. Especially on a group event? That meant that the whole group isn't going back. Screw them fools! At least i got a psudo-head sock from it.. a 50$ head sock.. =

Helped out a coworker at their new house.. it's a nice place, but the neighborhood isn't.. but it's one of those 'up and coming' type neighborhoods..

In more tech news: Yahoo Japan has unleashed high speed fiber optic busting 50Mbps download but a shady 1Mbps upload for the equivalent of 36$ US a month.. But another japanese broadband company set loose the next generation DSL called VDSL, this puppy flows at 100Mbps downstream and 50-70Mbps upload for 40$ US a month.. i can't wait till it arrives here.. VDSL is supposed to be phone line compatable with no need to upgrade or change infrastructure to the existing lines. VDSL is ADSL (the pacbell dsl, 1.5Mbps/256k crap) on crack!

i'm proud to announce that my new version of my webpage is up and running.. After tweaking it a little more i got it to work.. but i need to do a couple of more tidbits and it should be completed.. As you could see, some of the page is redone, while others are updated slightly.. The old version had 42 html files and 263pictures.. whoa mama! v 4.0 only has 27 html files and 136pics as of today.. let's see if i'll have goodies for later updates..

Today's dream was brought to you by ballistics.. i had a sniping dream. i think i was in afghanistan or somewhere deserty and i was in a gunbattle with baddies. All i remember was me aiming and shooting and thats it.. But then i also was feeling happy and was sorta having fun.. is that odd to dream of shooting up baddies and enjoying it?

Fish barrel will be there.. Theres another map called Big Rooms but i can't get it to run, but it's where you 'feel' like your 3inches tall and you run around in a bathroom, and living room capping peeps..

anyways today i get home and i see my neighbors with binoculars. So i look over to the glistening ocean and i see puffs of white here and there. The neighbors say it's the whales.. Pretty neat!

Fluffielady and I are trying out seating assignments for the reception.. There are tables of 6. but mostly i have groups of people of 5 which kinda blows. We'll see what we can do though.. In other news, i went to look at our wedding registries at Bed Bath and Beyond, Macy's.com and Restoration Hardware.com. I found that at bed bath and beyond, theres 2 of me, and at macy's.com theres 6 of me! I'm everywhere!

Another tidbit of news that Sherwin would love.. Samsung is releasing currently a Korean Market only Cell Phone with a 5Megapixel Digital Camera!!! This is getting off the wall! Well the cell phone actually looks like a digital Camera with a numeric pad on the other side. Too bad it's CDMA, but it can change..

This is my first week with these twisted days off. I go to work and it feels like monday, which sucks, but then it's friday, which is cool.. So what is it? And Hump day for me is sunday which the weekend is super chill days..
On Another note, there was a client where i had to transport around, and i tell him to get ready. And when he does he looks at me, and i look at him and he has this Aura of John Kerry in him.. He had that arrogant snobiness in him. Guess who i'm voting for? heh

Woohoo! Boreal opens today and Kirkwood this weekend.. It begins! the board meetings! well i'm gonna wait a while, riding with tree branches stick out of the snow isn't all that good for the snowboard..

anyways i scribble early because i guess this bed is giving me access to a whole lotta dreaming. Yesterday i had one it was me playing hide and seek in a buffalo field.. and today, me and 2 other people went and found evidence that nosferatu existed, and that it was this great adventure. It was one of those Blade-like scenes, some people are with the vampires, and others aren't. We got items that gave him extra power or something and then got away.. That was fun.. then i woke up..

So no laptop for me.. boohoo, it's ok, i've already got a lappy, it's not the latest and greatest but it does what i want.
Anyways i had this crazy exotic dream, but all i can say is that i had to run away from the tazmanian devil.. that spinning lil bastard!

Picked up my wedding band, and the marriage licence. Getting the licence was the most easiest and scariest thing to do. Just fill out the form, they just looked at both of our ID's, no SS number, nothing. Raise your right hand and swear that all your info is true.. ok then gimmie your money, heres the paperwork.. bibi.. My wedding band is cool it's 6mm wide, it's 'custom' whatever that meant.. i wanted it really custom, i'd get it in 5.56mm width.. mwahaha! Plans are going good.. too good..

Anyways, for the superearly post i had: The Dream of Dreams..
This may be errie to some and it may make things better, it might not, it might not do anything..

I dreamt that the crew n i were hanging at my parents place. It was hanging out just to hang out i suppose. And Bert gives me this cloth packet all wrapped up. I opened it up and it was a kit of somesort. It had vials of stuff, scissors, various strings n things, somehow i recognized it as a kit to aid in fighting demons. I told him that all the madness thats happened in the past year was BS.. Why and what happened to us? Bert said that he wanted me to be happy. We forgave each other with a brotherly hug and returned to being friends again.

Right after that, i'm not at my parents house. And i was fighting 3 demonic beings, yet they were in human form (one of those you know they are demons, but it doesn't look as such when your dreaming). And i was pretty much whooping them by using my mastery of martial arts(??). Later I opened up the kit and the only thing i remembered was a red string and thread. I realized that the thread and needle was to be used as a patch Berts and our friendship.

Evolution?
The past year or so Bert n I started going on our own ways. After knowing someone for 22 years, it ended just like that? Possibily, from elementary to high school and then post-college (whenever i was in s.f.), i was Berts big brother of sorts. You know, you take care of your peoples. i mean he's going through alot of pain and suffering, he's a trooper, a survivor. So i was always there, trying to motivate. Alot of peeps have tried. One can only do so much. Everybody sees it as sadness, he sees it as everybody's bothering me. Lao Tsu of Tao Te Ching (taoism) says to yield and overcome, he didn't say yield and avoid.
Death in family is always a horrible thing, a person you've been with forever is gone forever. But death can be a catalyst, to inspire, to give determination on ones resolve, to finish a task or ones last request. But for others it doesn't, it goes the complete opposite, all they see is a loss, darkness, doom. When my grandparents passed away, i felt both the loss, the darkness, but then i knew that i had to show them up, to prove to them that i can step up and do what i needed to do to please my grandparents.
So now evolution is occuring. i'm getting married. To some it's a bond, a union of two. To others it's losing someone. I'm guessing it's the latter that Berts thinking. Big brothers going to neverneverland and is gone forever. Evil lady has stolen me and is over.
Me and Roz were always wondering what in the world is going on with things. One day your playing basketball wearing ugly Aqua school sweaters to all of a sudden talking about kids.. Man! i mean i never thought about retirement until the first day at work, deferred-comp, stocks, beneficiary.. What the?? i was 22 years old and i'm thinking of a beneficiary?? (Anya!)

So it does seem like we have grown apart, I'm the dynamic, he's the static, a ying-yang of course. But is it the end? The all-or-nothing that society is starting to become? I don't think so. To me life isn't a great race, where people one-up each other. If you run so far ahead of your friends, well you won't see them anymore.

i've been having a few dreams a few days in a row but i've been forgetting the moment i go blog.. but say 4 days ago i had a dream and all i remember was some booming voice asking for something.. yesterday i dreamt that i was in Final Fantasy I as a shooter character class.. And yesterday was one of the many odd ones.. I dreamt that three male teens wanted me. And they came after me like zombies, saying how they wanted me. I had 2 wooden sticks and i was batting them left n right but to no avail.. Then i remembered that i carried, so i pulled out my glock n then i woke up.. Obviously without my hands clasped when i woke up in front of me. Wassup with this?

Also i almost forgot to take out the trash! wacky days off.. bah!

today is the beginning of my new days off.. so i wake up and it feels like your day off, but you know it's not.. Weak! Now i've gotta adjust.. It used to be work one day and then toss the trash.. now it's gonna be the day after my 1st day off, then toss the trash.. bah!

From Urban to Urbane:

2 nights ago fluffielady and i went to hang out with our buddy UE at this street show type thing. She was in a butoh dance piece which is a japanese dance of the spirits, kinda. Butoh was made after the 2 nukes that dropped on them, it is a dance of the souls lost. So the characters are usually dressed in white with white facepaint n what not. It was cool, except that it was in the seedy part of frisco. The part where most of my clients were from. There were 2 videos along with the dance piece, one was a sorta documentary about this homeless drug user program where it teaches basic life support to fellow drug users *if* they overdose n what not. The second one was one of those totaly wierd funnyfunny video. It's this guy who tromps around a junkyard and then starts swimming in mud n what not.. yeea, thats lovely. we survived that one.

tonight we went to one of fluffielady's co-workers wedding. It was in the posh side of things, after crossing the picket line that is. About 50 people were there, we only knew like 2 other coworkers and the seating arraignment separated us. The wedding party said that we were separated on purpose so that we can hang out with others, ok i can see that. But our table had businessmen talking about global marketing and their romps around the world. One guy has residency in Macao and England.. oookay, so what do you do? uh, i shoot alot? heh. It was a nice wedding though. sleepietime!

yesterday was a madhouse at work, but i survive and thus i can go for another day.. Yesterday i also had some dream which involved O.J. simpson, fluffielady and myself, but that is all i remembered.

today i got my assignment to work on halloween.. WEAK!! it woulda been the first at the new house and fluffielady is excited to have candy to give out to the kiddies.. That and the whole decoration of the house dealio, oi! Also i got new days off *bleh!* i guess my seniority went down and now i'm back to a wednesday, thursday for days off.. SugarBowl better still have them 35$ deals!

Maintenance day..

Delilah hits 80k, got an oil change, need rotate the tires and clean the intake filter though.. one day... Did the laundry, got a haircut. lala..

Weeeeee! Had fun yesterday, hung out with the crew and it's been a while for it to be a group of 11! It was kinda like a family reunion, seeing what peoples been up to n what nots.. It was a nifty place the only odd hitch was the wierd bill. Financial problems began when the bill came. Where did da monies go? Anyways it was good seeing da crew!

Worked today, i actually got some love today at work and got out early. Not that i request it much. But i had enough time to setup for family gathering and also berfday dealio for da fluffielady. It too was cool, made my old italian soup in which i haven't in ages. My parents and auntie from spain came and saw the finally decorated houz. Pretty Cool weekend i'd say.

In tech news... Sherwin you know you dig this... The mamiya ZD -21.8 megapixel camera! It's just announced, no price yet but do you wanna know how much this puppys gonna cost? The current leader (the only one i know of) the kodak DCS-14n 14megapixel camera runs from $4000-5000.. Cashmoney!
