Ahhh yea, chillin with the in-laws.. actually they're napping right now.. naptime eh??

anysorts, monday, the mad storm was here to mope around, so we went to Napa. I get to the usual crossing from Sonoma Valley to Napa Valley but the road was closed! We had to venture north. Deal was, that there were detour signs here and there.. and all of a sudden there weren't any. We come to find out that we went totally north on the sonoma valley and came around all the way from calistoga down! Bah! Anysorts ate at St. Helena, very nice.. Went to our usual grape stomping grounds at St. Supery. It was kinda late because of the detour, we didn't have time to go to other winery's. At least my lifetime drinkie card still works.. a bit of Red Meritage anybody? Ahh yea..
We hit the Napa outlets. Bloody outlets, i guess thats where i'm gonna get my clothing from. Got 3 J.Crew Pants for 12$ each and 2 dress shirts for 15$ each. Horrible when it says an additional 50% off! heh.. Fluffielady got, yep, more candles, some clothes at BCBG, and at j.crew.. The rain tapered off at night..
Ate at the 8 immortals.. ahh yea, the 3.50$ menu owns!

So the rumors are now true. I am the Boss of the 6th floor. Just like in Bruce Lee's, game of death, you must fight through my 12 minions to get to me, the boss.. mwahaha! Except that the day i started there were 9 then 8.. and it was in great disarray.. oi! Oh well i work this friday, then monday.. Civil Service is cool..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 25min

Give me two and a half hours and i'll make xmas dindinz.. Yesterday, got home, got to the kitchen, and busted out the prime rib, biscuits, crazy potatos, corn, stove top, while fluffielady and family made the turkey, yummie spiked punch, candied yams.. Yumz..

For those who remember the video game Marathon.. It just turned 10 years old, it was the first Macintosh First-Person Shooting(FPS) game after doom and wolfenstein. But it added multiplayer, 'physics', and real stereo sound to the future of FPS games. I remember beating the game then tweaking the physics settings to produce a rapid fire missle launcher and an assault rifle with a shotgun instead of a grenade launcher.. Afterwards Capt'n D would lug his computer over and we'd do a 3-mac network over 9600bps and then later 10-mpbs ethertalk network.. My brother probably still has all three marathons and we wished it was still around.. well there are others who are way more crazied about this game at this site: Source.Bungie.org and someones made a Mac / PC game called aEternal V.
I wonder if it's multiplayer... heck wonder if i could get them games for pc.. Might as well download marathon 2 demo.. it's only 11.3megs.. woot!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1 out of 10 (Eerily quiet at work.)
NapTime During Lunch: 32min

Work was ok, strangely quiet though.. It seems though that i'm going to be working christmas morning.. bah! i'll make up for it another day.. *heh**cough**cough*

Whelp we've started the netflixing.. and got 35 movies lined up.. goodness! and i've made my first dvd with menu's of the anime Naruto episodes 105-113! and it works! woohoo! it just takes a whole lotta tiem since i get them in .avi format.. gotta convert it to mpeg. and then burn them.. man!

As for the Stupid FedEx.. i get home and there is no note. I call and of course you go through the automated menu deal.. you swear a bit and it gets to an operator.. This operator tells me that i could have scheduled a drop-off after the first attempt, ok, whats up with that?? So i have the option, they could contact me about the next drop or i can call to see if i can pick it up. But the operator has to call the station, all he got was an answering machine.. Is FedEx Home really at someones Home??? He leaves a message for them to call me.. so when will they call? 'oh tommorrow from 8am-5pm'.. do i even want this package now? when will i get this thing i asked him. he tries some run around answer. This is sucking. i wonder what kinda run around will i get tommorrow.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 0.5 out of 10 (hanging out with singing coworkers?)
NapTime During Lunch: 34min

Bert's found a nifty quiz dealio. It needs a little more questions but it works out mostly.
Solid Ground
Your World (Part One): What is your world made of? [boys]

Your World (Part Two): Your social world [boys]

Your World (Part Three): How do you see your world [boys]

Work was strangly alright for today. People were singing, and buying each other food.. i must be in bizarro-land or something..

Man i'm starting to hate FedEx Home. Which is semi-FedEx but not.. I bought an iPod for a coworker and accidentally had it sent to my place. Well i get the tag and it says that i can't sign and leave the tag. But then being that it's FedEx Home and not regular FedEx, you can't go to a normal fedex pickup office to pickup after 7:30pm. The tag states the usual 1st, 2nd and final attempts. And it says you can call this number, so i did. And it's one of those 'speak to me' voice menu things, and of course what you want isn't in the menu. It's kinda cool to swear at it and the computer's all 'i'm sorry but i do not recognize that command, or that option is not in this menu selection.' hahahah But somehow after confusing the super-tech voice menu system, i got to an operator. I ask the operator that i'm not going to be there for the final attempt. The operator informs me that i call the number to schedule a drop. Well can't i schedule it right now since i won't be there? Nope, they've gotta do their final attempt and then i call.. What the heck is this crap about? Who thinks of these things? Whatever happened to like efficiency and customer satisfaction.. it's all gone to the voice-activated menu system..
Can you say.. *&%@(^*!!!! heh..
'i'm sorry, i do not recognize that menu option.'

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1.5 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 25min
Little Luccas Sandwich: Italian Turkey..

Wakka wakka!
i should go exercise more.. should i join Waka? heh, maybe i shouldn't, the team names in the san francisco area are whacked!

Yesterday, fluffielady and i went to a dinner with all my coworkers.. it was a madhouse, and of course a bunch of drunks yelling and shouting.. man! We ate at Broadway Prime in burlingame.. It's supposed to be a bunch of cats who left the House of prime rib at san francisco and started their own. So you get the whole spinning salad deal, and sliced beef off of that big meat cart. The only difference is that you can get either cream of corn or creamed spinach and i don't think theres refills here. Ooooo.. I got the broadway cut which is this giant slab o meat! Superhuge and tasty.. Mmmm

a few days ago the laptop went zoinks.. but now is back up.. how queer, i guess the CMOS reseted from an emptied battery and is all back up again.. silly laptops..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 35min

Silly blogger was futzing around yesterday..
anyways i had a dream 2 nights ago now, that it was me and 3 others armed with cowboy guns or revolvers and we were in a castle of sorts. We had to rescue this lady who turns out to be some princess or something from the barbarians living in the castle.. what does this dream mean?

Work was lala. I had to head off to the hospital again, this time to drop-off this foul smelling lady at the nuthouse.. ugh! nasty!

but as of yesterday it's
W + 1 month
doodoo! everythings going good.. we dance the dance!

Argh! Almost!!
Forgive me father for i have sinned.. it's been 7 months snice i shot my match rifle..
Silly house and wedding! oi! It was all good at the 200 yard line though. i scored highest ever, 469-9x (468 was the high before) 1 fricking point away from master class, which is my current goal in life.. Doesn't that sound cool? 'i shoot in the master class..' Today was a very cold clear day, semi-cloudy, mostly sunny. I wanted to wear my other pairs of glasses but like always forget, and find myself with the transition lensed stuff. I thought it would get in the way but it didn't overtint, which is good. The only bad was the glasses are so small that shooting in the sitting and prone position, i wasn't looking through the glasses, i was looking over the glasses. That might have helped my poor vision in focusing on sight alignment, but i like to use my current shooting excuse: My scarf is what helps me. For the longest, since i moved i didn't know where my cheesy plaid scarf went. I thought it was in my snowboard bag, for i carry it on the slopes for when the weather calls for the extreme winter gear, but it wasn't there. i casually asked the fluffielady and she remembered seeing it in my closet. And there it was sitting on a nice shiny silver hook. I brought it for fun since i was wearing it the day before and found that richmond is cold! it was cold throughout the day! i couldn't find my hitman gloves either, whats up with all this?
I meet up with my co-worker who was forced to work another shift, so he's worked 16 hours, and been up who-knows-how-long. At first he decided to just pass out, but thought about it and decided to join in on the shooting fun. Beer and guns is his thing, usually guns first then beer, but i had to have him come along, for somehow i forgot my shooting coat with it's gear with him, since my last match in sacramento, at may 8, 2004. We sign up and i found old gift certificates (you get them for winning) that was still in my car.. Everythings better when the shootings for free! We come to find out that we're on the 3rd relay, which is butt-late. Also i come to find that my name is now on a trophy that's displayed on the range for top marksman class of 2003, and they finally had a plaque made out, which was handed over in a little ceremony. See it was good to go drag myself outta bed and shoot. i do swear though, us shooters are a strange breed, hanging out in a very cold empty field, very early in the morning, frosty breaths shooting out of our mouths. But i've seen these scenes a many a time (hurry up and wait).
Headed towards the quaint town of point richmond, nestled in the hills behind the refinery equipment, ate breakfast and went back to find that we still had about an hour to go.
Finally we get to shoot at 11am, with my offhand (22 shots in 22 minutes)i was doing fine, until i looked at my timer at the 6th shot and saw the clock was ticking at 15min, man i'm taking my time. So i hurried a little and got a few rounds off which i didn't want to, but alas getting the timing of things when it's been so long is just so hard! We ended with my co-worker firing his last shot, oh 3 seconds before 22minutes was over. i scored a 181-1x.
On the rapid sitting, the 2 spotting shots i was low and to the right, 2 clicks up and 2 left resulted in a score of 92-1x. I was too slow! 60seconds 10 shots. barely made it.
300 yard simulated Rapid prone i went right 1 click, and produced a 97-3x. not bad, this time i had time on my side for some wierd reason. 10 shots in 70 seconds.
On the 600-yard simulated slow prone, 12 shots in 12 minutes. i missed 'cleaning' my target. Getting a 99-4x. Bah! if that one shot went 1/2inch closer, that woulda made my day. About halfway through my hand started getting the familiar numb tingling, i kept telling myself it's almost over! and that shot was the bad one. =(
And i woulda been in contention for master class. You must shoot twice in a row a score of the next class to advance.. Marksman -> Sharpshooter -> Expert -> Master -> High Master.. man! it just means next time, we do this! it felt pretty good, i had my noob moments like usual but it didn't frazzle me anymore, i expect something goofy to happen at every match.
And all the while i'm out cavorting with the physics of a pointed cylindrical piece of metal, fluffielady's having a bad day with a cluster-crap of retarded people at the serramonte mall. i don't think shes going back there ever..
Now i've got some guns to clean before J comes and takes da fluffielady and i out! wee!
