Level Of Difficulty at Work: .5 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 43min. Was knocked OUT!

I had some detailed dream again but alas i don't remember a bit of it. i wanted to when i woke up.. then it all faded away when i was brushing my teef.

My right forearm is sore, wierd, it came outta nowhere on tuesday. It was bulging out of my arm!

Today Fluffielady and i watched Ladder 49. It was ok. Some parts it doesn't make sense. Like a 2 story house was on fire and the search and rescue team was on the roof poking and prodding it. Are they looking for gold? Nobody else was using any water to take out the fire. So of course one firefighter falls and everybody wants to rescue him, the people on the ground started to use water, but stopped knowing that it's too late. So let it burn? John Travolta was cool, Joaquin Phoenix i dunno about.

This whole slant-eyed war is getting silly. It's starting to spawn into their own respective blogs.. jeez!

I took Carol's silly engrish test and got an advanced score! woohoo!

Yesterday i wanted to ride 15 miles each direction.. Well at 5miles i'm in Milbrae.. at 7.1 miles i'm at the dam at the south side of the San Andreas lake. It was going downhill for a bit, and i know once you go downhill, getting back is all uphill. I did 12miles in 48minutes, and 14 miles in 58.. So i'm guessing my 24 mile run is about 1.5-1.75hrs.. lordy.. i'm just wondering if i should use my cellphone as a mp3 player while riding..

Today.. Me n Delilah went venturing outward bound.. She can do everything!

Wet your toes delilah! Shes going Stream Hopping!

My coworkers wanted to head out into the boonies.. the serious ones where 1) i had to go stream hopping, and 2) the last 6 miles was offroad!
We went out north of Lake Berryessa, into BLM land, where you can shoot all you want. They do this event every 6-9 months. The time getting there and the stuff you do isn't for me. All you do is shoot at rocks, water, puddles, trees, cans, bottles.. Sorta not my style. It was cool, but not my style.

Later i had to leave early to go to a funeral back in pacifica. i never really knew this guy but when i was little we were camping alot and whenever i went to our family friends' xmas and turkey party he was there, with his family. Anyhow the wife helped out with our wedding, making all the centerpieces at all the tables and a fat ring of flowers for the wedding cake. He was a nice man, his 2 daughters are cool.

p.s. oi! at the sidebar sillyness.. and *if* i knew where someone lived, i woulda visited. After Supergo.. =p~

Lately i've been having some really detailed dreams, but yet i don't remember most of them. The only one i remembered was that i was looking for the spelling of a canadian prime minister with the spelling of Torvol -something to that fact. Now i've remembered dreams but never in that much detail. Man..

Whelp it seems my sidebar tagboard has become some capping war or something. But i remembered something about Koreans eating *live* octopus as a deliacacy. The picture doesn't do it's justice, look at the video and watch it squirm, THEN it does it's justice.. Yum!

Anyhow i got myself into riding long distance, well 1.6 miles into it, when i get to the SpeedyLube at Skyline and Sharp Park road, my pedal breaks!!! The pedal broke right off the spindle.. Man o man.. I'm glad that 1) it didn't happen on race day.. and 2) theres a Supergo in Mountain View. I was ready to pay 40$ 'cuz that was the cheapest they had but at the store had some extra specials.. I picked up a Ritchey clipless pedals for 25$ woot! Supergo Rules.. They aren't as good as back in the day but they are still ok, if it's on sale.. Kinda like fry's.

Ahh yea the New Audi A3 is here.. A bit expensive for a little hatch but it is quick and whitty. 200hp 2.0 Turbo 4-cylinder. It's on front-drive only but the quattro will be coming soon. I messed around with the options at Audiusa.com and currently the one i chose came to 32k.. ack! Add the quattro and $$$!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1.5 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: Nada, for once.

i won a New Moto Chain for the Gixxer on ebay, where else?. A tune up is due. Moto Tires were supposed to last 5000-8000 miles.. i'm on 12k, another layer is actually showing. I don't think that is a good sign, though. Anyhow now i must wait for the chain to arrive and then i'm gonna bust it to probably Die Werkstatt. They are good people and will take care and tune it up, but that one time i got it all modded it took a month! jeez. Hopefully a tune-up doesn't take that long. i'll probably get the chain sometime this week and then next week, yeah.. 500$ tune.. geez.. i got the oil filter, chain, and tires though..

And today begins my new days off, Monday-Tuesdays.. i missed those days off. What to do tommorrow, i think i'm gonna ride for a bit, on both monday and tuesday.. yeah.. thats the plan.. the hard part is sticking to it..

I've been looking at Matty's Sharkie Fishin pics.. What do you do with all that? especially 3 big'ol sharkies.. Shark fin soup anyone? Please? Anyone???

Whoa.. didn't wake up till 8:30.. which is unusually late! didn't matter today was chillday. Went to da Gilroy outlets. Theres more new stuff now.. A Sony outlet, where everything is in refurbished boxes. a Bananna Republic, but that place is smaller but busier than the gap outlet. Everything else was sorta the same. i picked up a nike shirt for the triathlon and a long sleeved shirt from j-crew and headphones from Sony. Fluffielady picked up a bit of clothing, but i had to manhandler her away from the Coach outlet and this purse that she's been eyeing.

Tech News:

Canon and Toshiba joined forces and enhanced Television Constrast Ratios which were currently 8600:1 to 10000:1.. It's called Surface-conduction Electron-emitter Display, or SED.Now tv's are gonna be more blindingly crisp.. Your gonna hear alot more:'It burns! it burns my eyes!' at the Good guys..

For all you suspended animation fiends, scientists might have found a way to put people into ultra deep sleep. I know about 400+ where i work that needs to be put in that stasis.

Someone at Flickr has found the beta version of the iPod Shuffle. Back then Concrete was their only high tech material to use, unlike these complex polymers of today.

And finally, i would LOVE to have one of these for the tuesday pizza nights. Yep it's just a plain ol pizza cutter, slightly jazzed up. Sweet..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 15 min here, 10 min there.

Ebay Tuxedo time!
Just came back from the Ritz-Carlton in half moon bay.. quite a nifty place, cash money and no public parking.. Valet all the way.. It was for Fluffielady's teacher-training type thing. 200$ tickets, names on lists, Bidding cards? Yep, silent and live auction. They had some few good items, 1 week stay at some fancy condo by the beach in hawaii, another was one of the famous pictures of Mohammad Ali, signed by him. My favorite was a signed Lance Armstrong Jersey with picture, it was the year he beat cancer and won the Tour de france.. It's valued at 3800$, who knows how much it went for, we left before the piece came out.
There was some NBA superstar from the 1970's there. At first he was talking about life and direction and motivation. Then they had this thing where people were offered to ask questions on 3x5 cards.. well the Superstar got totally into it and was talking for eternity. I mean theres a bunch of teachers, a bunch of rich folk, and others. It's ok to talk about confidence and self-pride and to have the drive to succeed. But to talk about the 7th game of some championship in 1970-something and being benched for an extended period. Nobody really cared.
Looked around the hotel, quite a nice place, cashmoney! They had one bidding for a 2-night stay at their ocean view deluxe suite, valued at $1k. Two people were fighting for it, and one person won it for 900$. lordy. the only thing i was interested in was an ipod with accessories, it finished at 205$. Thats ok though, i have my cellphone. It bumps it as much as i wanted.

Somehow i popped the top button on my tux.. it's over, i need to go look for another one.. heh.

i don't think i can make it to work tommorrow.. awww shucks.

Made another set of 80 Berger VLD's at 2.370" Thats all for the processed brass.. Gotta get back to the laborous case trimming again..

Put Carol's Blog link up due to requests that i complete the set.

Rode my bike a bit.. i was able to hit 37.3mph on it.. woot! i could go faster, i know of a steeper hill.. One day i'll fly down it.. but as always what goes down must climb like no other.

Watched the Movie Basic with John Travolta, Samuel Jackson.. It's an ok movie, but what i've learned from it is that it's all about the way you tell a story. It's one of these something happened, people wanna know, one person saw it one way, another person saw it another way. Then the conspiracy comes. blahblah. the only reason why it was ok, was that there were so many different versions that you almost lose track of them all.

Here we go again..
Tommorrow 6am dell once again is giving up 750$ off of 1499, but this time it's only certain laptops.. one of them is a 600m though.. But theres another 750$ off a 1899$ = 1149$ on everything else thats inspiron.

  • $750 off $1499 on select Inspiron Notebooks V9WTJSQFFJVFST [Exp 4/26, 5:59am, 8000 systems]
  • $750 off $1899 Inspiron Notebooks 1DSDZQPDRZH$L7 [Exp 4/26, 5:59am CDT, 4000 uses]

Here are some spyshots of the new Mini cooper.. i dunno about this one, i hope they keep the shorter, cute one. As well as this stretched version. But maybe a 5-door may come out of it. Mini mini!! The new Lexus IS pics are on the sidebar there too.

And i've signed up for permanent opt-out from the major credit bureaus. It asks for Social Security No. but my brother signed up and haven't gotten stuff for a while. These mortgage junkmail blows! The best one i have says on the envalope 'please do not discard..' well what am i gonna do with junk mail?

    NapTime During Lunch: Nada

    Today was electrifying!

'if you do not comply, are you ready to dance the funky chicken?'
    'say wha'?
    *bzzt*

I am now one of the few in my spot to bust the air taser out at the unruly! woohoo! The training was fun, it actually went over the allotted time slot and not every individual got a taste of it. But maybe next time, at the update course. Everybody did get to shoot off 2 shots (@ 20$ a pop). After the class the brave and nutty went and got their zap on. I did the group exercise where 8 of us were linked arm to arm (ala protester style) and i had one end taped to my jacket and the other end to the other side. If you guys get to do this in the future the place to be is in the end.. Because the juice flows from both prongs, (and they do look like mini-spears(not Brittney Spears)) it goes through the middle person the most and the endfolk the least. The first time it was activated only the opposite side felt it. I thought my snowboard jacket was too thick. Our instructor got a new fully charged one and did it, at that time we see him engage it, and a few seconds later (Serious delayed effect) it started to tense up my shoulder, and the guy next to me felt it too. Eventually the whole group fell down. Kinda neat, it's not painful, but more annoying that you couldn't move.

i think tuesdays is gonna become pizza night. At the Straw Hat pizza (wassat?) here in pacifica, from 5-9pm 1/2 off ALL pizzas.. we had a large sausage and mushroom for 9$.. Sweetness..

Got the lawnmower from home and slashed through the forest.. It's much better than the weedwhacker (sorry). My pants and shoes don't have that green tint spray that i get from the whacker.

Been looking around for my 16k moto tune.. with valve job.. it's gonna be 500-600$ lordy! Every 16k.. italian motos are even more and also more $.. Thats my only hinderance for getting my dreambike, the MV Agusta F4 1000. Well maintenance and the fact that it's a $21k (ack, thats 2 jap bikes!). It's soo beautiful though.. *Sigh*

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1.5 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 10min here.. 15min there

    Technews..

Intel introduces the Rosedale system-on-a-chipset today. For a new type of wireless networking called WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave(!?) Access). Regular 802.11b or g networks say they go 100 yards indoors and 300 outdoors. I can go two houses down or across the street and still be online, which is cool. But with WiMAX the range is a 31 mile radius and flowing at 70Mbps. Now match that with vDsl (whenever that appears in the US) and you can actually use most of the speeds (up to 55Mbps / 19.2Mbps+). After that you know the whole nation will go wireless and then file sharing / swapping will be beyond madness! Estimated time in which it becomes affordable, 2006..
31 miles.. all you need is to plop one on mount sutro, then on mount diablo, tam, and any other mountainous region and EVERYBODY can go wireless.. Well, you'll need to buy the gear though..

Samsung busted out a cellphone in which it's alpha waves instead of microwaves, the SCH-S350. It's supposed to help the brain out instead of frying it. (Wireless networks, Cordless phones, and Microwaves operate at the 2.4 Ghz range) We'll see if that one does any good.

For you Futurama fans and freaks. This german dood made a PC case that looks like Bender. Silly Germans!

Oh ya and speaking of cellphones, I guess thi guy lived by the cellphone and died by the cellphone.. Too bad they don't sell this tombstone at Costco. You coulda got the casket and the tombstone all-in-one deal!

    NapTime During Lunch: 32min here..

Ahh yea all your racerboys n girlz.. If you have spare change ($3000+) you too can get this fob'd out Baller Laptop.

And in other queer stuff. My brother was in Costco, finding a strange new Johnnie Walker, called me up and wanted to know about it. I looked a bunch of webpages, and visited Costco.com. After looking around i never noticed, but Costco sells Urns and Coffins?!? They don't sell Hard Liquor, but they do sell wine and caskets??

Adjusted my seat on the road bike. It feels good to go.
Got some more goodies from ebay.. Mag holsters, revolver holster, and some Ram.. also i got Fluffielady a gift.. All the things you can get! One last thing i'm looking for (for now) is a video converter, to put some of fluffielady's old VHS tapes into mpeg and eventually into DVD.. Burn baby burn!

Watched Samurai X : Directors Cut.. the drawings and anime is cool, sorta violent and bloody. But the story is about political groups trying to destroy each other to control japan, that part i didn't care for. It was ok.
Been watching the Neon Genesis Evangelion series. Kinda cool.. Robots and Monsters. 8 dvd's oi! i'm on the 4th..

And oh ya, my brother took a rain check on that Johnnie Walker..

    Wednesday, April 13, 2005

Whelp that was fun. I woke up around 7:15 and went to see how the dell coupon was working and it was done in 48min! Not that i was looking for another laptop anyway.

Delilah got a 85k oil change. Car washed and tires rotated.. woot! took about 1.5hrs total with the warsh. Castrol Syntec baby! My brother goes for it.. i use either that or Mobil 1.. both are about the same to me. As long as it's synthetic..

Bert's got a new blog and isn't gonna have a webpage no more.. So updated on that on the sidebar.

Ok all yall peoples looking for a laptop deal, it comes around again. Tommorrow (Wednesday the 13th) Starting at 6am. Dell's got a 750$ off a 1499$ purchase. That brings all laptops to 749$ with free shipping. The only downside is it's limited to 10,000 uses..
    Code: J096TQ8TFFG2VX

Work was ok, forgot to scribble about Paul n Christinas Dindin thing. It was cool, a whole lotta babies and pregnant people at the gathering.. It's a sign of the next step in life. Madness, the kiddies!

    Saturday, April 09, 2005

Weather Conditions at Alpine Meadows : 3/3 Blue Sky (80% of the time), Green Trees, Blinding White Virgin Snow ..
Snow at Alpine Meadows: It's like Fluffie Pillow Fluff man! I could make indents with my head!

    Silly Mangos..

Driving up was slightly mad. I'm glad we had a scout up there to inform us about stuff happening. My brothers buddy, wanted to drive up to Northstar to get some fresh virgin powder. But a 7-Big Rig accident occured probably 10-20minutes ahead of him. That killed Highway 80 east for the whole morning. He called us up, and we were about to reach Auburn, CA. Found out about it, i called 511 to see what the dealio is, but it said nada about the accident. We eat breakfast (whatsa ciabatta wit u?) and called 511 again. 'Highway 80 Eastbound is closed from Nyack Road due to an accident' Lordy.. i took a day off for this, i'm going! I come to find out from people in Jack-in-da-box that theres a few roads to roam to get around it. Highway 49 North to Highway 20 east. BaBam! It got us a few miles ahead of the accident.. Highway 80 was empty like no other! We drove by Boreal, nada, not many cars were there. We get to Alpine Meadows, and i'm parked in the sticks! The strange thing is, there weren't many people. In the morning the Six man lift to the summit was pretty packed, but in the afternoon it was pretty empty.

But Holy Cow, this snowboard rules.. I suppose the old board was weight training and once you put the light gear on it feels weightless.. Which it did. The board worked pretty good, except for one thing. It won't let you stop, since it has different edges, the board acts differently. Also since it's so light and nimble, it feels like if i lift my heel a tad i go toe siding, if i push down a tad i go hell siding.. Very nice.. And one last thing i think i can go for the half-pipe. With the board so light i can do half-moons up the hill and jump a 180 to go back.. More practice for me! Me likie this board!

While driving up, my brother and were chatting about eat dindins.

Evan: Man i didn't like that Mahi-Mahi Toastada at Dos Coyotes.
Toast: I'm getting kinda tired of that place. i dunno if i wanna go there.
e: I know what i want, i want the soup.
t: man i hope they change the menu, that menus been there for a while.
e: They better not do some fusion crap. Like put mangos in the mahi salad.
t: Haha, it's supposed to be southwest, what are they doing with mangos??

We board and what not, and finally get to Dos so that evan can get his soup. And whats on the menu? Mahi Mango Salad.. No more soup.
I had my Mango Chicken Quesadilla.. Mmmm yummie.
    Silly mangos..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10
    NapTime During Lunch: 31min

Ahhh yea i guess everybody has their nazi computer store stories. This one reminds me of when i was at the National Air Rifle Matches in Murry, Kentucky, there was a store in the little mall called two-dollar bills. It's a dollar store type of place but when you get change it comes in two-dollar bills.. Nifty!
Well i hope everybody knows that me and CompUSA ain't flowing tight.. Well this guy and BestBuy had a horrible time.. Two-Dollar bills anyone??

Tommorrow time to try the Palmer... Oh yes..

    Thursday, April 07, 2005

    I thought yesterday was silly..

Old chum there 10-7M linked me to this.. Bet on whos the next pope.. These English and irish cats are really into gambling. The one time our family went over the pond was because there were horse races at least twice a week.. Once my dad found that out.. *bam* cherrio there ol' chap!

Road bike is all loaded with the race gear.. it feels very nice, i can out pace the gearing. And the tires say 'max psi: 150' 4 pumps of the floor pump and i'm at 80 psi already.. soo teeny, these tires!

    Wednesday, April 06, 2005

    Getting silly *meow!*..

We've got these 2 outdoor cats floating around our backyard. Most of the time nowadays they lay there psudo-dead on the concrete when the sun is out. They like to be baked to perfection i guess. Their main thing is waiting for the sliding door to open so that they can bumrush inside to lay around the bare floor psudo-dead.. Anyhow we bought a little thing of catfood a while back and feed them (i only feed the mellow Orange cat) here and there. The Orange cat is cool, comes in, meows a bit, gives and gets some lovin, leaves, sometimes he actually knows when to leave, then theres other times where you put him outside and off he goes. Then theres the black cat which just gets in your way and stares at the fridge.. Once in a while lays right in front so that you can barely open it. The black one doesn't do jack, but lay and wait, and get in your way. We don't play very much with that one, once in a while Fluffielady feels for it and plays with it once in a while but for me that cat i've kicked (accidentally) a few times, 'cuz i just didn't know it was there.
So the food is starting to run out, fluffielady suggests getting more. ok, i look at the Safeway / Albertsons Ads and it's bizarre, a 3.5lb bag runs 3-6$ but a 18lb bag is 7.99.. I know bulk is the way to go but man.. And yep, guess which one i got.. and it better last!
    Meow!

Got my poll action on.. but it may come with lamer pop-ups.. i wonder what other questions to ask. Hmm.

Ahh yea finally! The Keneda Special Akira Motor(scooter) is here! Bad part is that it's only a body kit for a 250cc Honda Fusion Scooter.. for 1.7million yen (16,500$(11k for the scooter(!?), rest for body kit)) it's yours! You can put-put downtown s.f. to your hearts desire, with the exception of going up California Street, in the look and style of 1988 anime flash..
I'm waiting for my VR-052 Battler Cyclone from Robotech.. That'll be bomb if it transformed and everything..

Hmmz i'm trying to put an online poll.. i wonder how hard that would be.

    Saturday, April 02, 2005

No work today.. yesterday i had my first full 8 hr OT in a while. Man it sucks your brains numb!! Luckily i had today off, originally slated for a high-power match, i felt that i didn't have enough mojo to do well in it. So i decided not to go. Instead i slept, got my back cracked with fluffielady, roamed a bit around berkeley and das about it. Low-power mode.
My neck is sore from that stupid fall i had in northstar, it was the last run and i was waiting for my brother to boot-on. So i was farting around and fell onto my back. Yesterday was ok, Today my neck is kinda sore from it, but i'll survive.
Finally i got to mount the bindings onto the new board, the toes on the bindings just barely reach over the edge, which is not a good thing, but it's not that bad. My old Rossignol board weighed 11 pounds with bindings! The palmer weighs 9.. This is gonna be fun! Woowoo!
Watched my Naruto and i'm currently getting another Initial D episode.. Anime all da way! I'm now on the DSL pro, woot! 3Mbps downloads! Like i see a difference. The only times when i do is when i'm downloading files. 1 download goes at about 150k/sec, but 2 downloads go 145-150k/sec each. So it is working.

i've started upload some of the pics that i've had taken in the past. I'll post the albums up in a bit. At least my upload is a *little* faster, busting 59k/sec, not bad...

This page is powered by Blogger. Isn't yours?
