The partying never ends.. Today was a high calorie day.. or so it felt..

Today i *was* supposed to go shoot a bit at chabot. I was feeling kinda wishy washy and got a call from my coworker inviting me to a bbq lunch.. in foster city.. cool, i'll go.. Right when i'm about to head over there Paul calls me asking if i wanna go to his familys side baby shower in san francisco.. cool, i'll go..
So outta nowhere my plans are:
12:30pm-2:30pm bbq in foster city
3pm-5:30pm baby shower in san francisco..
6pm-whenever housewarming part 3 / matty's b-day part 2 in foster city..

Finally got back. BBQ in foster city was cool, tons of food. Turns out it's the wife's side possee up family type thing. They're a cool bunch..
Next at paul's.. he was busting fat full sized dungeness crab as well as slabs of beef and what not.. what am i to do? i already ate at the bbq. so i had some turon and a slab of beef..
Later back in foster city the crew ate at black angus and what did i have? a fatty caesar salad.. i barely finished it too.

My homie Wang / Waldo / David posted some pics of Jerry's shindig at the El Mansour.. tata

ugh, woke up at 6 and couldn't go back to sleep!

oi, revolvers are a tricky little thing. Went off and shot the NCAPOA pistol match.. it's an azn thang. It's usually a tricky fast course, too fast for my revolver. It was a bit fun, me and my coworker P. Lau were the only 2 with revolvers. Everybody stared and glared as if nobody has seen such a thing. Especially Lau's Holster, a hoyt front-break holster, is a piece of antiquity. Hey we're shooting for fun. Out of a score of 100 i got a 66. At one point my speedloader wouldn't feed correctly, bah! Reloading a revolver is a skill, one day i'll master it. And also the trigger return to reset is crazy long! On semi's you can feel when the trigger resets, on the revolver you almost hafta letgo of the trigger for it to reset. The bad part was we had the opportunity to shoot again but without official scoring and i got a 86 with my glock21. So the lesson is.. shoot the good stuff now, screw off afterwards. Cool thing about this match is i usually see my old high school coaches, Major Mucelli and David Lee. Those two are still helping the future generations in obtaining the x-hits. Maj says hi to everybody.

Afterwards hung out with Jerry and his gang for his last moments of singlehood.. ahh yes, been there, done that. I couldn't make it to their afternoon kayak into the bay. Kayaking is a cool, gentle, peaceful type deal, drink in nature and all it's power. I met up with them at El Mansour, it's an moroccan place that has a kinda dinner and a show, sorta. i had the fluffiebunnie kebabs, it wasn't in skewers, actually it was almost the whole body of the fluffiething minus one set of ribs. Kinda tasty the whole gammut. It's one of those eat with your finger type dealios. In the beginning you get a handtowel (no it's not egyptian cotton) and it's like uh, ok. Then a big pot is brought over to your table and you rub your hands as the waiter pours water over them. After all that the food trickles in and with every dish comes bread, take 2 pieces every time.. it's good that way. In the middle of it all, the music starts getting louder and i'm wondering if some dancers were gonna pop out, lo and behold one does and asks if i wanna dance.. uh, i think she was looking for the bachelor dood, jerry didn't wany any part of that. she trotted around the smallish cozy place dancing with kids, and what not. 30$ a plate for that. My favorite was this pasty/pot pie thing. Its a crust with powdered sugar, but inside had chicken mixed with some mushy stuff. It comes hot, but was quite tasty.
After dins, we head to jensen's (the dj at our wedding) house, drank a bit, i donated my Chopin vodka and 151 to the cause. Played texas hold-em.. i swear i can't play that game for crap. The gang went off to the broadway area for some shenanigans.
Gambling.. if it doesn't involve my life, i won't win.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 9.25 out of 10 (8hrs OT)
NapTime During Lunch: 31min

Today sets the high end standard of my level of difficulty, today is seriously a fat glass of ice cold cherry coke day.. i figure it's not true 10 out of 10 for the fact that i didn't do something stupid or get assulted with tons of mental anguish, no accidents or anything. Another reason was i got to leave at 10pm, which is a good thing, but i never got lunch (Dinner), which is a bad thing. So what am i eating right before sleep? 1 pack of miso, 1 ice cold cherry coke, and 1 bag of fritos at work, while leaving the building.
Since 8:15am, it began. Today seems that nobody can get along with anybody. Then at 1pm, i've been kept over another shift.. ok.. The madness still continues, 2 more fights, one leading to a hospital deal, and who do they send? me.. I was to have the 7pm lunch, but the hospital dealio was at 6pm.. and i get back exactly at 10pm.. can i go to lunch now?
I should call in sick tommorrow, but since i'm home early i think i can handle it. Anyhow i only work one more day for the week..
Driving home was kinda fun, my speed perception was slightly off. I had to jam it a few times to get into the gaps. Just starting to notice how it affects me that much. I'm just glad da moto has the power!
Serious sleepie time!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 4 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 28min

Ugh.. at work i took a big chug (~6oz) of bad milk, it wasn't chunky but it tasted nasty. The rest of the day i was feeling kinda queesy. Hopefully my kung fu will defeat this doodoo. Like one of the famous quotes in the Movie Super Ninjas 'i have been poisoned, i will not be able to use kung fu for 3 months..' Well dood took a really big swig of bad milk!

Fluffielady found the deal of the week, at the goodwill(!?) for all places. She found a 2000 Olympic, Saturn sponsored Timbuk2 messenger bag. Same size as the one i currently have, for $1.75. It's in mint condition, still has the folded creases. Woot!

Evan! stop rocking the boat!

Thats a whole lotta pink panther.. With the help of my brother and paul we got the roof all fluffed up with pinkness in about 3 hours. It's pretty easy.. they lay pretty well and there weren't many gaps. We bought 2 4-pack bundles and only used 7 out of the 8 packs. I guessed the square footage of the roof being around 640 sq. ft. But there were one or two slats that couldn't be covered, it was a little maze up top trying to figure out how to get around up there, but whoever was up there before was smart enough to leave a bunch of movable boards. distribute the weight amongst 3 rafters.. afterwards we were all itchy and scratchy, but it's all good. I do feel a slight difference, the major one was in the shower where the bathroom fogged up faster than usual (yes, let the jokes begin). Heat retention! woot!

While we're still going through the mania of it.. i do say that Lance Armstrong is one of my many persons of inspiration.. It's all about doing the best that you can and also make it look effortless. This years tour though it was like he knew he was going to win so he let everybody else do their thing and whenever needed busted out the can of whoopass. i think his best was 2003, he crashed a bunch of times but in each stage went all out and won. Some stats on Lance..
Everybody knows his heart is 33% larger than average, and his resting pulse is 35bpm..
But he takes in twice the amount of air than average. He's raced 11 tour de frances', finished 8. The odometer for just racing those 11 is around 22,000+ miles. 1st place winner gets $480k, but it's usually split to the team. His first pro race he was last place. Look at him now.

People of inspiration are cool, they are the ones to look up to. To inspire you to work at your best to achieve. i've got too many to scribble, downhill mountain bikers, snowboarders, high power shooters, IPSC speed shooters, motorcyclists, bmx'ers. Too bad work gets in the way of my hobbies.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: ~35min.

Let's see, it's been a while.. thursday was like 5 out of 10.. friday was 4 out of 10.. yesterday was a 2 or so..

Friday night was cool. went to Roz n Robyns 'engagement' party.. Roz's main goal was to get sloshed. i think he accomplished that. it's been a while since i've seen him toasted. The little nick-nack foods was cool. the buffet was ok, i think someone spent too much time making carrots into round shapes than cooking tastier stuff. After eating a bit, moms came out and gave a little speech. then roz and robyn were invited to give a little microphone time. When roz gets on the tipsy side he tends to repeat what he says, i wish i still had the answering machine messages to reminisce on.

yesterday hung out with the pimp and vicks and did something we haven't done in a while.. Superstore-window-shopping.. oh yea.. It used to be at a target or a supermarket.. now we've gotten more mature and were looking in lowes for home stuff.. whatever happened to the 1.50$ bags of candy. now it's light bulbs, color swatches and door locks.. man this getting old thing sucks. oh speaking of old.. happy birthday matty! woot!

oh ya.. pics of roz n robyns engagement dealio.. i shoulda emptied out my camera, doh!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 5 out of 10 (6Hrs. OT)
NapTime During Lunch: Nada

Lordy, i swear for the past 6 weeks it's like let's get toasty to work OT.. what the heck? there are others.. jeez!
Hung out with Vicks.. she got to see the mess that i'm surounded in. The center of evil. Dood gets a slap on the wrist.. out he goes. i'm sensing he's building his 'resume' of crime. Remember the show Night Court, yep, thats how it works. The great shuffling of peoples.. what a waste..
Anyhow i had another usual lame hospital pit stop. The guy complains about not being looked at when we started the watch.. He says his hand is fractured.. well ok it looks like it is.. Who gets selected to go to the hospital? of course i get hit. We get there and it's quick.. We do the x-rays first and then go to a zone to get seen by the docs. By the time we arrived and were done with the x-rays it was, oh. 1pm..
at 4pm the guy gets restless, nothings going on, he got a vicodin at 3:15.. other than that nada..
i finish my book Lay Down With Lions, interesting fiction book about espionage, love and the afgan - russian war of the 70's -80's.. too bad no mention of osama..
Now it's 4:30pm, the guy keeps asking what time it is.. i keep answering.. then he has a fit and wants to go back to the dungeons.. ok.. this is kinda odd.. one nurse wants to do a splint thing and shes a new psudo intern-doctor, so she has that love for all injured peoples. No matter their state.. So now the dood gets really irritated.. he wants out, refuses all medical attention.. both of us ask whats going on.. Today is wednesday.. when the zoom-zooms and wham-whams come.. Snackie time arrives soon.. Ahhh.. yes.. now he's swearing, he thinks i can make things happen beacuse i carry.. riight.. he demands SERViCE! immediately!
All of a sudden 8 nurses come flowing into the room.. what is going on?? it's one of those Follow-The-Nurse-To-See-How-Things-Are-Done.. Everybodys got notepaper.. scribbling.. the nurse doing the splinting explains it all.. then they all leave and follow the nurse to another station.. Thats some wierd stuff..
We get the papers.. go back, and find out we were early.. when i was on swings, the zoom-zoom people came at 3-5pm.. now they come at 7:30+
Anyhow the guy takes off the splint, whatever.. so why was i out there from noon till 6pm?
Yesterday i got a haircut and fluffielady and my hairstylist ganged up on me and got highlights for free.. i just wanted to frost the tips of my hair, and not that much.. lordy..
Tommorrow fluffielady goes away.. far far away. =( Off to lalaland for some dance seminars.. Tis partytime at the toasthaus! =p

Finally the weekend arriven..

Yesterday hung out with paul and christina at Cobb's comedy club in north beach.. Scary.. a night out on the town! First fluffielady and i went and ate at Mario's Bohemian Cigar Shop Cafe. Fluffielady ordered 3 different times and didn't like what she got, she orders a pizza, then a few minutes later the guy comes back, uh we don't have that. ok, she orders a lasanga, nope try again. Then she orders a meat filled canelloni, but it looked dinky. oi.. I ordered a focaccia sandwich which was pretty good. Problems seem to arise when we're out n about..
We got to the club and met up with Paul and Christina. Shes finally starting to show a bit more, her first 5 months she had a belly. Now shes got a pillow under her clothes. Madness!
At the club, they had 3 comedians before the main dood Greg Behrendt. Mr. Behrendt was a co-author to the book He's Just Not That Into You, he was a consultant on the hetero-view of Sex and the City, to me he looked like a surfer dood from L.A..
Anyhow the first dood was pretty funny, he ragged on being jewish. He's a skinny fellow with think black rimmed glasses. One of the funny things he said was that he's often mistaken as a lesbian.. And you know what.. At certain angles i can see that happening.
2nd person was his wife, and she was feminist but wasn't as funny.
3rd person was this midwest guy turned san franciscian, and his technique was that he didn't need to write material. He just observed the whacked out stuff happening in s.f.. 'Cuz whacked out stuff is what makes S.F. so special. All three liked to make fun of people in muni buses.. And you know what, i always thought it was ok to shout 'BACK DOOR' when i wanted to get out of the bus.. But now it has a twisted meaning to it, yanno what i'm saying? No Muni for me..
Afterwards was the main guy. He was pretty funny, i thought he had A.D.D., Fluffielady thought he was high on something. He'd rock back and forth, put the mic on the stand, then take it off. He'd raise the stand, or lower it. So his story is that he's 42, dresses punkish (he calls it ska) with the whole chain wallet thing. He has a whole skin care regiment, and wants to be a rocker dood. He gave advise about being old and about being married. It was fun, to be hanging out at North Beach again.. it's been a while..

Today Fluffielady and i tore through the stuff we left in boxes last year. And what did we find? 1) lots of CANDLES.. and 2) Purses everywhere! Fluffielady's expression was.. 'oh, it's just like shopping again, finding all these things.. oh my.. We bought a space bag kit from costco, the one where you stuff a bag full of stuff and use a vacuum to minimize the space it used to take. I think it works well on fluffie stuff, comforters mainly. Everything else wasn't as effective. The only downside of it all was that after getting the bag all vacuumed up it was odd shaped, lumps n bumps, crinkly bag and didn't fit well. I found that you had to shape the bag as the vacumming was going on. Still though it's strage shape kinda sucked.
Both of us had a hankerin for some Rainbow chicken action.. Why did the Jade Cafe call it that?

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 7 out of 10 (Today i had to work-for-my-money day)
NapTime During Lunch: Nada

Sweet lordy.. at 1:15pm i swore it was 5pm and somehow i'm stuck at work. One of my boarding buddies got his arm pinched on an extraction. He says he's ok, but it didn't look like it to me. The doc told him the next 36hours *may* get painful.. ugh, crushed ligaments, but nothing broken. This was all due to a cookoo addicted to psych meds desperately trying to get his fix. What am i? Your local mobile street pharmacist? The guy already tossed a cup of water (hopefully thats all it was) at me and the nurse, then tried to toss some more. I snatched his arm before he could bust anymore shenanigans.
Bah! It's not even full moon today too, that'll be the 21st of this month.. Lovely.
The weekends are supposed to be chill days.. what the heck was that about??

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: Zero again.. forgot to bring my phone..

A while back i saw an ad for being unable to shed tears.. Now i just saw an ad for Restless Leg Syndrome.. do you have the urge to move your legs after periods of inactivity? Does it feel better when you move your legs? What kinda crack-whacked crap is this? *Shuffle**Shuffle* ahh yea.. feels better..

Lately i've been playing with Google Earth.. it's like a big brother ariel photographic action. The cool thing is that you can search anywhere in the world. The pictures are a bit old, but still, it's kinda cool.. Beware it takes a bit of computing power.

One last thing.. Silly Germans and their beer, have created the nicoshot. Yep, it's beer with nicotine infused. 3 of these beers equals a whole pack of cigs.. But it says that it's not meant to be like a patch. This is cool.. i can now start smoking by drinking.. eventually i'll become a alcoholic chainsmoker!!

Ok.. all done..

The center speaker is mounted.. Fluffielady finished painting ('taupe-ing') the backyard door and kitchen.. It's alot more spacious but yet nothing got tossed.. everything just got rearranged better. My speakers are more apart and the rear left channel is near the wall now.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10 (1.5hr OT)
NapTime During Lunch: Zero..

i brought the LARGEST woman to the hospital today.. and what was going on? she has shortness of breath.. is it cardiovascular? nope.. blood pressure is 106/65 pulse 77.. Does she have asthma? No, but she sounds like it. Is there fluid in her lungs? Chest X-Ray says nothing odd.. She claims she has sleep apnea, but she was awake and is having problems breathing. Then she tells me that it's the fat on her neck.. is that gross or what? my fatty neck prevents me from breathing properly..
Can you say.. EEWWW!

Shift Happens..

Sorry, it's been a while since i've updated.. scary.. Work is the usual bleh.. But we've been working on the house. Summertime action. Fluffielady's Parents were over last weekend and now this weekend. They just installed crown molding and it does look pretty spiffy.. In the pic you can also see the DVD case fluffielady's dad made.. neato!

Since we're now tearing up the place, i ventured into the crawlspace of the house to rewire the speakers. The left front is now on the other side of the fireplace and the rear left is nearby the wall. After some drilling into the floor, routed the cable through and ba-bang!

Tomorrow we're gonna be putting up a shelf for the center speaker and it should be all finished. For now..

Finally got the hawaii pics up at Sony's Imagestation.. Speake of which, it seems that we'll be going there next year.. mwahahha!

Man.. once again.. 465-12x..
Weather is excellent, it wasn't frigid like other months but then this is july.. I shot ok.. I've been reading The Rifle Shooter by David Tubbs, which i got on my birthday and tried out something i learned from it. Well i've learned it before, in this book it's done differently. I thought i shot pretty good, but it wasn't superb. On the rapid prone i shoulda knocked down my sight another click down. And on the Slow prone my shooting mat was too far forward and my right elbow was slipping on the mat. beh! it was ok though, i just wasn't feeling it to go for it yesterday. Dad in-law hung out and got to check out the action. He's thinking about shooting high power. BoomBoom!

in other news.. My favorite get around girl has popped up. This time it's funny since we've seen her everywhere, at the Vivarin.com webpage, theres a profile of 'jenna, 20' who's a 'full-time' student (at all them colleges). No wonder she needs to pop the pills.
