A warning to all: Too much Shellfish makes Fluffielady Crabby! (neakneakneak)

Yesterday was Evan's Day.

Well he's there.. somewhere..

Can you hear me now?

Me n Moms..

The high point of the day was that the weather was quite excellent. Blue sky, zero to low winds equals baking action by the sun. It happens all the time at graduations, so the people have improvised. Everybody started to use the programs as hats! The fun part begins when that single gust of wind comes and everybodys 'hats' flies away. Weee!

We had several guest speakers who spoke about nothing to do with graduation except that we have a right to privacy and being black is strong, yellow mellow and white is alright. Something to that effect. The keynote speaker was California Senator Jackie Speier, she was the only one who spoke about believing in your dreams ... blahblah and you will survive and yaddie yaddie. Other people to note was Neil Young the singer, i mean Dr. Neil Young now. Too bad he didn't play a song like Paul's graduation, who sang 'Puff The Magic Dragon.'

Thinking about graduation is a special time, the point in which true innocence (whats left of it) gets shattered into the real world. Where the complications of life really begin. Job Choices, Personal life Choices, Life Altering Decisions, Should i stay here, move about, what about my friends, and finally repaying student loans.. ahh yea.. Nothing says 'gimmie yo money' like those monthly statements.

After the graduation we all met up at the R&G lounge for Salt n Pepper Crab (Ultra Yumz), and an assorted lot of goodies. Fluffielady thinks she ate too much shellfish and is feeling it today. Jenny took a really good pic of me, Evan and fluffielady destroying those salt n pepper crabs. i need to get it from him, it's classic!

Today we cleaned up and got ready for some BBQ action at da haus. It was a beautiful clear day, lets hope it stays the same!

And now the Little Roomba Dance to the Super Mario Brothers Theme Song..

This guy Tod Kurt Likes to hack into his roomba. First with a bluetooth hookup now with Apple Midi Software that you can control 1) the roomba and 2) it's musical prowess. Mr. Kurt says the software can work up to 16 roombas at once, talk about symphonic roomba action in the future! Woohoo!

Today we roamed about the Napa Valley. Visited the Napa Outlet. Yankee Candle is having a mad sale. They're rent is done for the while, so everything was an additional 75% off. Yep Large 30$ candles were on sale for 15$ Minus 75% thats 3.75! You know who went a bit sideways on the purchase. The best was a basket full of scented bars of soap. MSRP 4$ on sale for 2$ but they were on the CLEARANCE section, whats the clearance section? well it gets 75% + 75% off, 4$ -75%= 1$ -75%= .25cents. I was joking in saying 'might as well buy the whole basket..' Well there were only 20 of them. 4 Dolla! 4 Dolla!

Finally we ventured to our desired destination: Infineon Raceway.

Lean!

When we arrived it was slightly late, about 3:40pm, we got there and they didn't collect our ticket (from Mr. D! Woot!), and parking wasn't charged anymore. So we trot right in and it seemed like everybody was leaving! oh no! We get to the stands and its kinda sparse, with nothing going on we decided to sit for a bit and at least look around. The grandstand chairs are very nice! They were sorta flexy plastic that looked small but it functioned pretty well! Anyhow after about 5 minutes the Superstock Qualifiers took place. We sat around for about 30min watching these speed machines zip off. Fluffielady said they sound like the Star Wars SpeederBikes, sweet! In the middle of the raceway was this Wheelie-Trickster Competition. I recorded a little bit of racing and Trickery. I shoulda recorded this one trickster dood, he was seriously Ghost Riding the Whip! He leaned the bike over and was doing circles while off the bike, rotating on one leg while kneeling on the other. Afterwards he stared accelerating while still next to the bike and stood up skidding on his shoes at a good rate of speed!

This is called the 12 O'Clock Position.

Afterwards ate at the WildFox Restaurant, it looked like a neat chili's / applebee's kinda place, but it's a steakhouse. Its all Good! The pork chops were tasty and the pot roast was pretty good! The only thing i don't understand is the pizzas are in the appetizer menu.. Pizza before steak anyone?

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1.5 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 29min.

Alpine Meadows Still open till the 21st! They have a snowbase of 77-213 inches!!!! Only one lift open, the mega 6-person straight-to-the-summit lift. Sweetness! Definately get the slush wax *if* anybody is sick enough to go. heh

My laptop is starting to bust.. Poor Omnibook 500. =( The hinge is cracked and it can open and close, just gently. Now what to do, i wanted to bring it to Alaska as a Digi-Cam storage. oi! i've been looking and a Thinkpad x31 or a Dell d400 piques my interest. 12" laptops are for me, and the thinner and lighter the better. But the battery must last.

Woohoo! Capt'n D is back!

I just woke up from a dream..

I was shopping at the Macy's at Union Square. Stockton Street at Geary and O'Farrell was blocked and had tables here n there like what they did to Maiden Lane nearby. There were tons of people and i was roaming around looking for a watch battery for an old Tissot that i had in the 8th grade.
The oddest thing was that i hear my alarm and then i realize that oh, i'm sleeping!
Wassup with that?

Finally..
'Forgive me father for i have sinned.. It has been two months since i've pulled a trigger..'

Neak..
Relay #2
Target #5
Offhand: 180-2x
Rapid Sitting: 94-2x
Rapid Prone: 97-2x
Slow Prone: 95
Total: 466-6x (another bloody 4 points away from master class!)

The morning weather was cloudy, the drive was decent, you could barely see the golden gate bridge and sausalito from highway 80. But at the range it was blue sky and no wind. i had two errant shots on the offhand: a 7-o'clock 6 and a 11-o'clock 6.. ugh!
On the slow prone the position felt odd, it felt too low as if i was about to lay down on the ground low.
Also the plaques for my 2005 High Expert came in.. woo! Plaques! i got in another etch on the clubs trophy! heh

Yesterday n today i hung out with an old school buddy, Billy Yeung.. He's roamed around the americas and is coming back to cause damage in california again.. heh

Yesterday me n fluffielady went out with Evan n Jenny to the Hyde Street Seafood house.. MMmmm clam chowder..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1.7 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: Zippo

Yesterdays story:
This guy comes in to plea guilty for driving without a licence, a misdeameanor. They go through the whole schpeel and his penalty is 3-years probation, 250$ fine. The guys lawyer asks the judge to lower the fine due to the fact that he also has to pay the towing company to get his car.. uh, hello, he drove the car without a licence, he shouldn't even have a car in the first place. So what happens next? Judge reduces fine to $100.. hows that for justice!

This whole week i'm flying solo.. kinda odd feeling. Weeee!

Ahh yea is this the possible next step in engine design?
This guy invents the MYT (Massive Yet Tiny) engine, weighing in at 150lbs. it can bust an equivalent of a 14liter engine! It's supposed to have 25 parts, frictionless movement and almost 100% fuel efficiency.. Whoa! Can i have that installed in my motorcycle? heh. heh
