I forgot to mention the many thanks for the in-laws who tended to us for the past 2 weeks. The first days after mini-toast's birthday were most confuzzling. The days and nights were blurs, cooking would have been a hassle. Thanks for all the help..

This is now the typical Sleep day:
Sleep 9pm
Awake 11pm
Sleep 12am
Awake 2am
Sleep 3am
Awake 6am
Sleep 7am
Awake 9am..

Schedules, thats what its all about..

So i'm pondering since i'm on fragmented sleep.. If there will be tax increases on families making 250k+, what if they cut their pay to under that? Also aren't people who make 250k+ are usually doing something significant in life (Doctors, Tech, etc). What will be their motivation if all the hard work they do is taken and handed out? If this happens then is it better to be the best at what you do but be taxed, or dilly dally and get handouts?

Today the kiddo realizes that he's out in the mad world and replies by screaming his head off. Lovely..
The kiddo needs to be fed every 2-3 hrs, I heard this is the craziest and hardest part tending to him for the next 2-4 weeks. Trying to wake up in a daze ,feed and repeat. Man..
We're given the boot, off into the real world. Scary!

(Blog Post Entered Sunday, Oct 19 2008)

The hospital is pretty cool, most of the nursing staff are real friendly. We're wondering if it only applies to the maternity ward, the floor of life, love n all that.
Fluffielady gets 4 choices of items per meal but the hosed up part is i'm to fend for myself. I don't mind, it's just odd. Theres an extendable couch for the daddy, it's ok but i've heard worse. We find out that there aren't many patients here, that equals hang out time with the nurses. Nurses that hang out? impressive!
This day was all a blur, lack of sleep, hearing the little noises of the youngin.
At 3pm, we were moved from the delivery section to the 'mother-baby coupling section'. What a fancypants name!
The in-laws arrive!
The first 24hrs, the kiddo is self sufficient, the next 21 years, is another question..

(Blog Post Entered Sunday, Oct 19 2008)

Man today is a mad one. It started the night before around 7:30pm. Fluffielady was having semi-regular contractions (7-20min apart) and her back was starting to hurt. Every time a contraction was occuring, i started to rub her back. It started to get quite frequent around 11pm, about every 5minutes. When this happens its time to head to the hospital, but first you need to call the on-duty doctor if it's time. We called and she asked us some questions and one question was 'are the contractions so hard that you can't speak', fluffielady said sorta. The doctor told us that it was either early or false labor, but if we wanted to come in to be checked at the hospital then we could. So we did.
We took our time and got to the hospital at 11:30pm. We get admitted and the nurses checked fluffielady out. The first nurse had a puzzled look and had to get a second opinion. When the 2nd nurse checked she said that fluffielady was about 5-6cm dialated! The nurse had to get a second opinion because fluffielady wasn't going all crazy screaming in pain.
It comes and goes, fluffielady wanted drugs in increments. She never did like doctors that offer Oxycontin if she could just take aleve. So she gets a fentanyl and we nap for 1.5hrs. Around 3am it wears off and the pain is back. At this time my hand is started to go numb from all the back massaging.
At 4am it gets supremely bad, the nurse checks and fluffielady is 9cm. Fluffielady's body has the urge to push but the nurse tells us that its not ready. Fluffielady tries for a bit but after a while it got too painful. One last check and shes ready to go.
The first 45minutes it was 2 nurses instructing her how and when to push. Inbetween this i become part of the process when one of the nurses tries to contact the on-call doctor. This continues for another 30min. At the last 15 the doc comes and delivers, 2 minutes later another baby across from us was also delivered by the same doc.
All i can say is that it's quite impressive that a human body can change to hold another life. Then go through all that trauma, and expect to tend to it after? Thats mad!

The rest of the day was a blur, i think i got 8hrs of sleep in sessions. Fluffielady got way less plus the pains. Woo! Mini-Toast is here!

End of the World Mondays..
Ugh, Congress is pondering another stimulus package? If its for boosting business, i'm for it. If it was like the last one, where we kept our $1200, then all i have to say is: Stimulus Package = Welfare for all.. That's the direction i see how life wants to be; that we get our handout because we can't take care of poor little old me. Who is going to pay for all of this?

I put on the 20$ ebay tuxedo and moto'd my way to the burlingame golf course for some wedding action! It was pretty cool, the moto went off road for a bit on the parking lot. Met up with some people that i haven't seen in a while. Ahh yea how times change.

Got home and Fluffielady had two contracting episodes.. madness is arriving!

Fluffielady and familia went to do her usual Alma Heights flea market dealie. Sold some stuff, and some jewelry. Fluffielady got real tired around noon and we drove back home with the in-laws fending for themselves at the booth.
Around 1:20pm Fluffielady started to have mad pains and it came and went till 2pm when it totally went away. After that it was pretty much pain free. Bebies!

Yesterday, 11 peoples (including me) pumped off 15000 rounds of 68 caliber jello balls, at each other of course, for my buddy Altons Bachelor Party. Sunol Paintball was alright. It has 3 speedball style fields, from small, where you can shoot to the other end, to medium, maybe 150yards at most. With such short fields comes quick games and quick teamwork. My brother and i were in our usual advantage camo, which had little advantage since it's a wide open field with white gooey'd walls and giant wire spools. We had a good time, everybody got pumped fairly well.
My favorite was one episode of capture the flag. It's situated in the middle of the map, take it and bring it home. We lost the first time, so we devised a brilliant plan. I go gearless and weaponless, sprint to the flag, grab it, and run back. That episode was over in 30seconds. When the other team got into their tactical positions, they heard 'game over'. Thats how you capture a flag.
Sunol Paintball offers pick up games and they're fairly nice doods, it needs more variety of games and fields. 9am-3pm

After that, headed to Alameda to the Sushi House. This place is pretty cool, ultra value for the quailty. You get a load of good food for what you paid. I had a Chirashi Bowl ($17), Various Sashimi on a bed of Sushi rice. My brother had the deluxe version ($24), it came with even more wierdo rawness.. They were prety tasty and crazy filling. The Bachelor had a Bento Box ($17), which i called more like a bento tray or bento crate! That'll fill 2 peoples tummies. The only dissapointment that i saw was this guys order a roll called Hella Hot, but hella hot it was not. =( A handfull of Wasabi Peas can outdo hella hot.
Wedding is next week, doodoo!

Today:

- Checked out the two paintball marks on my right arm, it's not bad, not that welty looking.
- Moved the router from the kiddo's room to the garage. That involved installing another phone line, and banging nails into the walls to mount the dsl modem, router and surge protector.
- Cleaned my paintball gear + gun, and decided to do a minor trigger job on it, man once i learned how to do it once, it's like what else can i grind?
- Went to staples (turn in some ink cartridges for 3$, target for a heater, curtain rod, babies R' us for some vitamins. funfunfun!
- Replaced stupid cheap wooden curtain rod broke in the boys room. Its screwed together by a bolt, once it breaks, you can't put it back unless you used glue or something.

beh, back to work.. ugh..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 0 out of 10 (Snapping caps day)
Time During Lunch: None, took half day off

The course changed a little, scored 100%. The staff gave me ideas of putting an eotech on a Springfield trapdoor rifle, tactical civil war class matches anyone?

Got home and fluffielady visited the doctors for the weekly checkup, things are going well. The kiddo is putting along. Since it was her birthday yesterday, we floated to Dave and Busters. Shes never been to either the great mall of milpitas as well as D&B. She had bit of fun playing skee-ball, but walking the mall was a bit of effort.

Ambercrombie Outlet, XL Shorts.. A bit undersized..

i'm getting ready to exercise for the year tommorrow.

Oi, i just found out the stupid bailout bill passed, i don't dig when law has to be made to control something. Usually when law enters a field, that field gets ruined, it's the touch of death. So why am i negative on this area. Well one of the many add-ons to entice that extra vote, maybe something like, Modifying Excise tax on Wooden Arrows for Children? would you now vote for it? Someone put it there, and someone voted. Isn't government great? Makes you wonder what hidden crap comes with passed laws.
