Did the Hospital tour, things look good. The place is going under construction, hopefully there aren't any crazy detours on that fateful day.

After, we got some drapes for the computer room and headed to a friend of fluffielady's to housesit and water the plants. Nothing like a pool on a hot day.

1st mobile post. Main reason: I'm too lazy to boot up the computer.

I had some crazy dream: I was working at some crazy unknown place for overtime and fluffielady calls me to say that her water broke. I just ditch wherever I was at and left for home. I get home and fluffielady was just sitting chilling around. I ask of we should go to the hospital. She says nah, let's go to the cafe. So we go to some cafe on this crazy steep hill. I'm trucking around and still wonder if we should be heading out. Right then a supervisor finds me and tells me to sign the overtime sheet. I do then I awaken. Man..

We headed to our second ultrasound and it was a pretty fast one. It was more like a check up on certain things. Our result is a totally average baby. 50-percentile on everything, weight, height, even heartrate.
Tis all good.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 0.5 out of 10
Time During Lunch: Short (experimental technique)

Work was whatever..

I get home and i notice that theres no kitchen faucet. Lovely, the familia was doing a flush of the pipes and somehow the inner lining cracked/melted/broke and was spilling over under the sink. So off to Home Depot we go, we got a thermostat as well as a repair kit and telephone wire.

Home Depot no longer sells touchscreen thermostats, why is that? Maybe others had touch sensitive problems like mine? So i got another for 35$ and it's a quick and easy install. This gadget involves physical buttons to press, a whole lot better. We'll see how the other projects work out.

Theres madness in the house! Shift is happening left n right as usual. The in-laws are here and we're reconfiguring furniture upstairs for the add-on thats coming soon. With that the boys room which has the computer and my toys, now has the twin bed, it's just like my room at my parents house back in the day. A bookshelf is moved out and shifted into: the girls room / office will house the crib. We're taking out a chest of drawers. The master bedroom busts a 90degree rotation with the bed, opening the room for an old school bassinet, one where fluffielady used. Its kinda neat. The good thing with this is now fluffieladys alarm clock is on her side, not that she'll need to use it much. The alarm tone is one of those nuclear alert warning tones, and she asks me if i get an adrenalin rush when the alarm rings.. Nooo, i have a gentle piano playing ringtone to gently guide me out of the dreamstate. Silly fluffielady.

The Funeral was pretty quick and small, which is nice. The procession to Skylawn Memorial Park on highway 92 was kinda sketchy. 40 miles an hour on 280 is bad, but when your the last car its even worse. To see cars swerve to avoid you, man..

Afterwards we had the usual traditional dindins at the far east cafe, with some tasty foods around 2pm.

We get home and fluffielady rested for a cookie lee party this evening. I on the other hand recieved an email about a fuzzy old man that used to teach me. It said "we're at the synagogue until 7:30pm." hmmz, should i go? Ahh why not, i have nothing else to do.. So i go visit:

Irving Rothstein
Sorry about the weird face, i was instructing Mrs. Rothstein on camera operations..
He's doing good, retired in 2002, he's scribbling a book of sorts. He's always been a storyteller and that tradition continued when i visited his house for a little chat. He wanted to know about my life and i tried mentioning some of the crew but he says he's gone through so many kids that the name is familiar but the face isn't.
He's looking for an artist or illustrator for his book, it's an interesting idea.
Glad to see that fuzzy old man is still tai-chi'ing and active.

I guess things can go from bad to worse. My Grandma has moved onto the lifeforce of the planet. Ai, i feel bad for not being able to converse with her much. She was always a smiling lady, i find especially cute that she liked this little pink plastic hair clip with a daisy flower on it. Dangit Grandma, you coulda waited until our son popped out.

The Familia, chillin at the House of Prime Rib.

i find it oddly weird that its been 18 years since my aunt and 2 uncles have possed up in one spot. Being sprayed around the world kinda keeps them from hanging out. My mom and uncle here, my aunt was in Delft, Holland but now is in Alicante, Spain, and an older uncle in Hong Kong. They said the last time was in 1990 for a camping trip in folsom lake. Of all places! At least we're all here for the services.

At the house of prime I had Laphroaig 10 year Cask Strength. It was pretty impressive, deep, full flavored that sweet and smokey. I first had doubt about a 10 year but i looked it up at bevmo and what do i find? 2 versions, one at 40$ and one at 70$. i'm guessing when the scotch selection isn't that big at the house of prime rib that its gonna be the $$ one.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 0.75 out of 10
Time During Lunch: Medium

This time riding up the hill to work i started huffing and puffing again, but i realized that i just gave double red. The ride was sorta tough but not chest paining like last blood letting. So am i more fit?

That was the road bike, the moto somehow decided to break my sideways license plate mount. I didn't know my plate was messed up until i did a right leaning curve and hearing scraping noises. Unexpected noises = somethings up. I'm thinking great, what now. I look to the rear right and see my license plate dangling. Lovely. I decide to drill another hole into a thicker part of the mount, but what does this do to me? It makes the bolt too short to reach. Why is life like this? Venture to the hardware shop down the hill. 81 cents later a M8 x 60mm 1.25pitch bolt cures all. For now.

Time for some dindins with my uncle. 8:30pm dinner?! man..

Gave up the double red blood today. This time i tried out a new center at Milbrae. It's alright, sorta makeshift looking but i think its going to be their permanent spot. i guess saturdays is their peak day with the morning rush. I went because they're giving a free pint (thats it?) of baskin robins for your pint of the red stuff. The weird thing is this filipino lady was telling me that my plasma is fatty looking and it wasn't good. Man thats not a good sign when someone can tell just by looking at your plasma. But lately we don't even go out much let alone eat cheezy greezy foods. Lovely, when i get depressed i eat cheese. A nice chunk of smoked gouda is in order. =\

Time During Lunch: Zero

Yesterday i was supposed to get my chain and sprockets changed for the moto. I arrive and they ask, 'wheres the parts, you were to supply them?' I look at them blankenly. So a reschedule was to today. I bring the moto today and 340$ later, it purrs again. I ask whats the average lifespan of chains and sprockets, Jen says around 12k. I feel pretty good knowing that its been 16k. Same with tires, they usually go in 7-10k, but mine last 12k+.
Work has been getting a little weird. Its hard to explain.

The moto was making some thunking noises, at first it might be my gearbox. Then i thought it was the clutch. Then i realize that my chain is all messed up. I need to take care of the chain more but it's been 17k miles since it's installation. I decide to degrease and lube the chain. As i'm degreasing, i notice the rear sprocket has a few chipped teeth. This is not a good sign, so i call up werkstatt and schedule an appointment. I did buy a chain when the moto reached 32k miles. Ahh yea funfun.

i can see why the iphone is something business folk wouldn't like. Currently theres no way on an stock iphone to save files into a certain location. Also on the stock mail program theres no way to search for email address or title. I had to use the google app to use the search functions. It needs a word processor or office suite. The jailbroken version has installers that remind me of those for linux. I can see OpenOffice apps, since the iphone is linux in camo.

Dream:
a few days ago i dreamt that i was driving delilah around. All i remember after that was making a left turn. Can anybody decypher that one?

Today fluffielady and i decided to visit the westlake shopping center. Especially to Linens and things, most things were 50% off, and there wasn't much there. So my advice is, if you have a King or Cal. King sized bed, you have quite a selection of sheets available. And if you want towels and some plates, they too are 50% off. Fluffielady was looking for a bedskirt and found one. Bedskirts, what are they for?
Shopped around, the place was pretty packed. It was a whole lot different before the remodeling.

Cleaned up the house a bit, we need to take on my room and see what we can compactorize. Its going to be fun, the trick is to take a section at a time, or it'll overwhelm you..

Finished The WitchBlade Anime Series. Typical love conquers all ending. This time it's about a moms love to her children. You need to be in the know or else it'll be just like the Matrix 3 ending. People go *wha?*

I gotz the iphone to 2.0.1, first time, i accidentally got itunes to put back the settings. It looked like it worked but the email got buggy, i couldn't modify or delete my mail settings. So i had to reflash again. It does seem a little faster than 2.0

Oh yes, i forgot to put my latest of Toasty Productions. First-Person (bicycle) view heading down O'Shaugnhessy Road from Portola. I recorded my way up Teresita Blvd. but it was lame, unless you want to see some uphill uphill. Quite nifty what this Canon SD450 can do.

The mount is so secure that it shows every bump on the road that i hit. And it shows how messed up the streets are in SF. Thats why i bought a dual suspension in the first place. Hmmz, maybe i should install the camera on my downhill bike and see the difference.
But by doing this route, my commute has been extended from 3.8 miles round-trip to 6.2. Not bad, i need something more to go with, and with cars behind me, it entices me to pedal a little faster.

Dream:
I don't know if i was watching the dream or i was in the dream, but my dream was a Law and Order: SVU episode. I don't even watch this show much. But there are two main characters detective Benson and Stabler. The episode was about trying to spy on the two to see if they were becoming a couple which means infidelity to Stabler's family. I did hear the Law and Order sounds, which is kinda neat. The only thing i do remember is that the found out that they were being spied on when they noticed a whole section of their patrol car was hiding someone. My dreams are getting really weird.

Today is Delilah's Birthday! Weee! a whole 10 years ago i managed to drive a manual transmission car from palo alto to san francisco. Sweet! I have some cosmetic plans for her, shes got some sagging and age spots and stickers of a place that hasn't existed in a few years (the brick n mortar store).

Dream:

I was dreaming that a few coworkers and I were roaming the club scene at the Broadway Blvd. Corridor. The only thing i remember was getting alot of parking tickets. No matter where i parked, somehow i exceeded the time limit and DPT was there to swoop. How bizarre, i don't have anything related to time limits (work, home, etc), maybe the bebe?

Fluffieladys buddy paula came to hang out for a few days. I never knew she was such a nascar freak!

As for the iPhone, i can't get away from it. It's stuck on me, and it's all to a game called Aurora Feint, a puzzle drop type game. Theres a Nintendo DS version almost like it called Puzzle Quest - Challenge of the Warlord. Puzzle Quest is a RPG style game with a character who builds a posse. Each character has a special skill that is a modifier to the puzzle game. You must beat the puzzle game to continue the storyline. Aurora Feint is similar but not as expansive. It involves collecting minerals and getting skills and modifiers. But it's also supposed to be multiplayer capable. It'll be interesting, except it's crashed on me a few times, one of those permanent crashes. I've found a solution but it involves sync'ing my iphone and copying the actual app to backup. So far so good, and yes the battery life does suck. It has a neat timer which tells you how long it has been since a full charge. The current record is 9-10hrs.

Ugh it's almost monday already? ugh!
