Dream:
I dreamt that I was taking the subways of SF and whichever train I take, I would meet up with someone. I first took the muni train to downtown and meet up with jenny ,roz and someone else. I went to my aunts place and upgraded my phone to something like a nokia e90 series. I then get to the bart station where i meet a coworker. Somehow the Bart lines were having transfering train problems. But when I eventually got into a train. Roz and two additional coworkers were on it. All of us were heading towards antioch, the strange part was, I somehow live in Antioch now. Why would I do that.

Written Dec 30:

The three of us head off for a full day of popping caps. My brother brought out his new toys to break in, sight in, and to tweak it down.
We arrive around 10 and begin on the pistol metal plates, there are 5 tables, we reach the area and take two tables. By the time we fully setup, all the tables were taken. All of a sudden a flood of people start arriving. I have not seen so many people at this range. Alot of people must have had firearms for christmas! We pop caps there until the quarter pounder hot dog lunch at noon. There also a boy scout troop learning shotgunning at the shotgun range. By the time we were done with lunch, the boy scouts come for theirs, which was a grand time for us to borrow their range for a bit.
Shotgunning was fun, my brother has never popped at clay targets and my FN SLP still ran even though it hasn't been cleaned in a year. By the time we go through a bit of clays and shells, people were waiting for us to move on. Which we did, to a 200 yard field. We put up our own 100 yard target for my brother and there was a 175 yard 8" plate out there for us to pick at already. So i expended all of my 30-06 onto it and the in-law's 308 into it a few times, while my brother is sighting in his AR.
One last range to go, which is the main rifle range. In the morning, the rifle range was all filled with rifle shooters. This range has a 100 yard target stands but with it comes various metal plates at various distances, the furthest at 500 yards.
With the .308 and a harris bipod, the 500 yard rams were cheesyeasy. Then i remembered my Springfield 1903 made in 1929, but no ammo! Doh!
Good times good times..

Dream:
Hanging out with the crew at Thailand but it looked alot like Chinatown SF. We go to a touristy yet hidden street diner. Fluffielady and I were either living at a multiunit Victorian building or some fancy old hotel, and Eli was living in the upper unit. He had to show me something at his place but we never get to it. Anyhow all of us started walking around and we reach this alley that was decorated. It had lights, an awning, plastic walls and long tables. The crew gathers and we all sit down to all the food was served. All kinds of spicy goodness was there. Then one dish was passed around involving sliced hard boiled eggs.
Once i see and realize the sliced hard boiled eggs i noticed that i was in another hard boiled egg dream! Then I awaken.

Woke up early to call for a delay of delivery of a UPS package. My Project DSLR has been shipped but it was shipped too fast. I estimated it would arrive the following week, but they went for a 3-day select. Calling them i could have had the package rerouted, but i knew crazy complications would have happened. This is the busy season and things will happen, with out luck. So i had them hold it for a week, it was like pulling teeth. I called when the package first left, UPS told me that they couldn't do any rerouting or delaying until the package arrived, which is today. I call today and at first they told me that they couldn't do anything until first attempt. The only problem is, sometimes they leave the package at first attempt, and i wouldn't be there for a week. So they say they will try and call me back, which they did and it is not being held. Whats so hard about delaying a package? Isn't that what computers are for? On the UPS site i could register to modify my packages but i couldn't since you needed a shipping ID. Man!
After all that, i headed to the range and went at it with my 1903, in the rain. It wasn't that bad a rain, a drizzle to a light flow, but it got things wet. I think there were only 3 of us shooting. I shot some research bullets and found a decent load, i think.
After 1pm, the clouds blew over and the bright sky was upon us. We went pistoling and all was good.

Woke up and continued our way down to Santa Clarita. Hung out with Little Emma, who was born about 12 hours before mini-toast. We meet up with Ian's wife for the first time, shes very friendly n cool. Mini-toast was acting up, we think because he wanted nothing of the car seat, being strapped in there for a few hours yesterday. He was a bit too active, but we think he outgrew his clothes overnight again. Man!

Off to the armpit of Cali.
Our Journey is the highway 280-92-238-580-205-5-120-99 method. There was horrid traffic near livermore, 2 lanes were closed on a saturday for roadwork(??). But i roamed into livermore to get around it. That was a bit of a delay, which sucked hard. While in livermore we decided to eat, and with that mini-toast decided he wanted to eat too. Ahh yea, are we ever gonna leave?
We eventually floated off to Freaksno and hung out with one of Fluffielady's friends for a few hours. She has 2 kiddos, 2 and 3 years of age and they were cool kids. They wanted to meet the mini-toast and we wanted to meet their little ones.
Upon leaving, we wanted some kinda fast food to eat while driving southward. What did we pick? Del Taco, can you eat tacos while driving? Thats a skill!

Last night was fun, hanging out at the Mills Peninsula Sleep Center, located in the hospital. Ahh yea the memories 8 weeks ago of rushing about with a huffing puffing fluffielady. This time it's my turn.
Getting there at 8pm, i was ready to go. My nurse Alison stuck a bunch of electrodes and other strappy sensory gear all over me for the night. We watched a bit of House as the setup takes 40minutes or so. It involves alot of glue and air compressoring. Take the sleepy pill and hang out. When she was done i plopped down and watched Fringe and decided to sleep about 3/4 of the way into it.
All the gizmotronics were slightly a bother, i do remember waking up to someone running in to turn on the air con. Then i was later awoken to put on a CPAP mask to thwart the snoring, they only put the mask on if i stop breathing. *Sigh*.. The pressure from the mask was kinda funny feeling, it took a few minutes to get used to it. I was awaken at 6:15am and booted by 7.
So the data gets reviewed and forwarded to my doctor, she'll see whats to happen. oh funfunfun..

Today i started up a blog for fluffielady involving her jewelries. The site that she pays for is limited in usage. Her cookie lee site in itself runs marginally on Internet explorer and sucks nut on firefox. Silly site designers.

Roamed highway 80 to Sacramento and further on towards Roseville.
Stopped at Sacramento and hung out with Brotha Eli. We ate at Umeko, a japanese buffet thats more chinese food then sushi. Ryan wanted to meet up and chill, so we did.
After eating, we were near this Electronics Surplus Supply store. It is the graveyard of electronics. They had electroscopes, VESA, ISA, SCSI (and all it's versions), Laptop boards, all kinds of crazy stuff. Chips laying around, ram of all kinds strewn about. The only thing new were the keyboards and hard drive enclosures. If you're looking for barebone dell systems, they have it for 100$. I didn't see if they had mouseballs, they had every cable out there. The best was the 1960's scientific scales. Large enclosures that measured probably to the millionth of a milligram. The ONE thing i didn't find was a IBM M-Keyboard, the ultimate computer keyboard. Too bad it uses the old AT connectors. I wonder if they take e-waste?
Later, we roamed to Roseville for Fluffielady to resupply on her jewelries. SOMEONE took a while (2hrs) in the store. In that time i was trying to teach the techniques and methods of driving a motor vehicle. I dunno if he got what i was instructing..
While heading back home we stopped at Mary's Pizza Shack at Pitt School Road in Dixon. We ordered some sort of Chicken Ranch pizza and it was a little too salty, sometimes it's the cheese but we dunno. It needed some marinara maybe? 19$ for a medium.
