50 Foot Indoor SmallBore Rifle, 30 shots in 36minutes, week 7:
Prone: 98-4x (Boo!)
Kneeling: 87-1
Standing: 87
Total: 272-5x
Time remaining: 5 minutes

Song in the head: Estelle - American Boy

I ate at 4pm a can of noodle soup, i think that helped out quite a bit. The wobble was greatly reduced and also the sight waivering.
I think my sling was loose during the whole shoot. I thought i used the second hole, but now i think it's the third (two holes in?) something with the number two. At least since i now know how to adjust the crazy euro sights things are starting to come along nicely..
Kneeling:
Two shots in kneeling weren't ready to go, but they did. i need to get a better and firmer stance, it's a bit wobbly and not to my liking. I found a decent position at the last two shots, which are both 10's. Now i need to remember what that was. It's a more compact, right angled kneeling. i need to test out the rifle at home.

Mini-Toast firsts:
-He's starting to like fuzzy blankies. He was using them to wipe his mouth, now he's got it wrapped around his head or he'd cover his face with them. Cute!
-He's starting to manipulate the pacifier with his left hand. He takes it out and puts it back into his mouth! Woo! Now he needs to learn how to pick it up next to him.

Mini-Toast meets Delilah for the first time.
it wasn't too tight of a fit but still tight enough with the baby carrier handle at it's topmost, there was about 4-6 inches till it touched the ceiling. Thats in the middle of the back seats.

50 Foot Indoor SmallBore Rifle, 30 shots in 36minutes, week 6:
Prone: 98-5x (Boo!)
Kneeling: 89
Standing: 80 (More Weak!)
Total: 267-6x
Time remaining: ~8 minutes

Song in the brain: Daft Punk: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

I think i know why my scores have been sliding: food. My offhand has been sucking hard, the rifles waving from one target to the other, or on some crazy diagonal. Same with kneeling. In the beginning on my late weeks, i would pop a chicken noodle soup around 3pm to get some boost. I think that was helping quite a bit.
Notes:
-I finally figured out the sighting system. Silly german precision optics. Left and right is not left n right. It's moving the sight left n right and not the hit location. And instead of up or down, the sight is marked H or T.. I think T is to move the hit up, and H down.. or was that the other way? I wrote it down..

Got a few moto parts to fix up. I was delivering some goods to one of Fluffieladys friends, her house is on an significant incline. I park the moto at the slight beginning of said incline. As i was taking my helmet off, down goes the moto, smashing the mirror, the rear turn signal and one of the lightbulbs went out. Oi!
21$ mirror on ebay, 17$ set of bulbs on ebay, now i should look around for the turn signals on ebay, price saved delivering items to friend $1.38, doh!

Board Meeting!
Location: Bear Valley 49$ lift tickets from Helm of the sun valley, 59$ regular!
Type of Snow: Super Fluffy Powder, lots of it ..
Tons of people at the resort: No.
007 Action?: No
Weather condition: Light to moderate snowing with decent sunny breaks in the afternoon
Gear Used: Extreme Weather gear, backpack..
Road condition: Heavy rain turning into White out conditions 4x4 / AWD needed, chains required on 2WD. Heading back was ok with sun then rain.

My buddy and driver Mark suggested that we go to bear valley for our board meeting. The previous night the news states that the sierras will get about 8-10 inches of snow on friday. I look up the road conditions and highway 80 was closed. Wheres Bear Valley at? It's eastward, north of yosemite. South of dodge ridge. On highway 4, yes the highway 4 to antioch / oakley. Ok sounds good, but the 5am departure time did not. Luckily we did what we did, it was pouring rain in the central valley, by the time we got to Murphys, CA (2100ft elevation) it was snowing. Snowing hard, and when we reached Arnold, CA (4000ft elevation), it was whiteout conditions. At breakfast we hear that both highway 80 and 50 were closed! What a good choice, we arrive around 10am. We get up the lift and our boards won't move on the snow, the powder is so dry it stuck to my board like no other. It hits me that maybe i need some wax, i could stand on one end, flexing the board while pointing downhill and not budge at all. So i had to ride the lift back down, it felt like the ride of shame. First time ever riding back down on a lift, i do say it was pretty, but everybody looks at you while they pass by. After the waxing it was 12:40pm. Finally time to own.
And own we did, i got up to elbow high in powder. All that board pressing that i was doing last year helped out. As long as the front tip is up it was free flowing. Of course the few times it caught on something that i dump i'm 2-3 feet deep, stuck like chuck. The hiking around and getting out of the deep stuff was the killer parts. But when the sun came out a handful of times it was quite a site. A winter wonderland that i haven't seen in 3 years, yep i haven't touched powder for that long of a time.
We rode till closing and got back home around 9. Now my shoulders and calves are feeling it. Man its good to be in the snow once again.

I had two dreams but i forgot the first because the second was much more interesting.
You know you've been on facebook too long when.
1) Your dream involves people on your friends list
2) It's been a while since touching snow

Dream:
Somehow it snowed in San Francisco, and made it into a winter wonderland. And there are skii lifts all over the city. The whole gang was ready to skii at noe valley, Roz, Paul, Vicks, J, Bert, and My brother. i was wearing those short skiis which i've never had experience with but oh well. We go down clipper and another hill with ease. And halfway down i see Ana Sanz, she was exiting a coffee shop and was chatting with the owner. I stopped to say hi and told her that a few of us will be arriving soon. She looks at me and says soon as in a few days? Nope, soon as in 30 seconds. Which then everybody rode by, stopped and gave ana a hug. It was pretty cool, then i awake.

50 Foot Indoor SmallBore Rifle, 30 shots in 36minutes:
Prone: 100-4x 3rd clean
Kneeling: 92-1x
Standing: 91-6x (!)
Total: 283-11x

Song in the brain: Disturbia by Rihanna

I swear one shot in prone was a 9, but under the glass it touched the line and thats all it needed.
1)This time i tried out an offhand stand. Back in highschool my offhand stand was a chair. The rifle was pointed towards the ceiling. I loaded the rifle but did not close the bolt until it was time to go. Then i'd lift the rifle, close the bolt and aim. Nowadays with these fancy contraptions, you can use this stand where you rest the rifle. Load, actually lean onto it, pick it up a few inches and swing it 30degrees onto the target. So easy, these young whippersnappers have it now.
2)I had one five on offhand which sucked,
3)and an 8 on kneeling. The kneeling one i should have resetted the shot.
4)My offhand felt pretty good, even though a few shots were not where i called it.
5)Can you get high shooting? Not that i'm shooting weed smelling Eley 10-x ammo. But there is a certain satisfaction for the work put in and the result from it. I seem to be shooting this indoor small bore stuff alot better then in high school. It's good that high power helps out on this and hopefully the converse is true. Whenever i go back to it again.
