ugh research on the ultra new computer system is starting to get whacked. But i got the case, and the power supply. i'm just waiting for the motherboard to come out. Bits n pieces here n there..

Oh and those who happen to have an xbox with the crashing problem.. It seems the power converter overheats alot and just like a PC, overheating = freezing + crashing. So let the fins of the power brick open to air..

Ahhh yea today i: ventured off to best buy for the hookup action. It was kinda complicated and the deals didn't come out to what i thought it would. You had to get the sku number then find an employee to lookup the discount cost. Afterwards you lined up and bought what you wanted. But the rebates (instant or otherwise) don't work. So i came out with not much, i got a Razer Copperhead Mouse, the one and only baller mouse. It's the one thing that i've never seen on sale. One example of the discount not working for me was a 1gb Sandisk SD card, for 40$ after rebate. it was 50$ with the hookup.. bah!

So as i was watching the madness flow around me, i noticed that people where there just to buy stuff. like it was the thing to do. people who couldn't find anything on sale went off and bought things for full price! (how mad!) I don't know about all this Black Friday hocus pocus, i think i could still find some deals alot cheaper.
Oh, so what is the 1gb SD card for? i finally went in on the Canon SD450 digi-cam from dell home. i got it shipped for $260. Woot! Then i get home and theres a slightly better deal thats a few bucks cheaper.. weak!
i've gotta put a pic or two of Evan's Martha Stewart Turkey Action. Turkey day was cool, made it for lunch, da familia came and ate. I was still full at dinner time. oi! i've made a version 2.0 of the potatos of doom, and i think i might tweak it again. Mmmm Potatos of Doom..

The past 7 days i've been having whacky detailed dreams, i don't remember much after i wake up to them but todays was: i was driving with a coworker in some junky car and drove by a little fire on the side of the road. It was a 2-laned (one on each direction) highway in the cuts. There was dry grass and brush on the hillsides. We pass the fire and then i look back and out of nowhere is a bunch of people running away from a monter blaze. So we decided to stop and save some people. We pull over and 2 people get in. I get into the back and the 2 people get in, my coworker decides to watch the fire or something, just twiddling. So one of the two people we decided to help out gets behind the wheel and start to drive. I decided to pull out my g-lock and tell him to pull over, which he does. Then i wake up.. Wassup with that?

Picked up the Safariland 012 holster from Matty n Carol that i got on ebay (it's a convoluted story). The thing is sick! i've gotta adjust it a little more, the thing is slightly finiky.

Today i:'ve heard the word conniption the past 3 days straight. It's making me have a fit!

Today i: learned that the middle school in Foster City is spelled Bowditch but it's pronounced Bow-dage. How queer it is..

Let's see, i finally finished My (or Mai) HiME the anime, it got real wierd after the second half. So it's about girls who gain these super powers, they dunno why, then they kinda join to beat these people. Mai, the main character focused is going through alot involving school, emotion, love, men(s). Love triangles and misunderstandings begin, lala. Afterwards (whacky twist begins) their destiny is to fight and kill each other. Whoever dies the one dearest to them dies as well. This will create a true 'fight for your life' type event. As all this is happening Mai doesn't know what to do, she has no direction, what to do, lallaa. in the end it as in almost every anime, it comes down to the force of Love. Love overcomes all, and evil goes bibi. So..
Started on Full Metal Alchemist, this one is about 2 brothers who in their younger years found that they have a knack to manipulate stuff. Alchemy is the old school science of creating something by altering it's molecular structure.. So when the kids were young their mom dies, and they try to resurrect her, which is a violation of the alchemist rule. They try and it doesn't work, and something catestrophic happens, one brother(#1) loses an arm and leg, and the other brother(#2) was about to die but was saved by being transfered into a piece of body armor. So the kid walks around with this body armor dood and their adventure of finding a way to bring back either moms or their old selves.
One good thing though, i'm starting to pick up on some simple japanese phrases.

Let's see, yesterday i finally got on my board and jumped onto the box. First time was sketchy, but after that i got the hang of it. Doing it 20 times is a workout, i dunno why i signed up for 24hr fitness, i could just jump on a box all day n night. Only bad thing is the noise the thing makes when you land on it.. *thwack* Now i have a sense of how high i can go. And yes, i was wearing my jammies.

Thats right, at the high hill ranch parking ran out! you had to go in between the trees! Good 'ol Placerville, known for 2 things: gold and silver mines and the apple orchards. Going to all these places was kinda like going to the pumpkin farms at half moon bay. There were so many of them and each try to attract you in. Some were just sheds on the side, others had straw bale mazes, pony rides. One had a museum, and others had craft stores. It wasn't as busy as we'd thought it would be. Up and down all around the windy road, we couldn't stop at some places, the entrance would be right there before you knew it, it was behind you. Doh! Signs should be posted in advance, at least 150 yards each way.. jeez!
We brought home our groceries for the week, lots of apples and veggies. Fresh apple cider and apple butter? whatcha do with that stuff?


But before we went apple hopping we roamed the streets of old town placerville. Yep i've been hearing stories of this Liar's Bench from the in-laws. Too bad this ain't the one they were talking about. So if theres two liar's bench, whos telling the truth? And yes, there is a bench in front of the place.

Changed my Battlefield 2 Sig back to the old one. i guess the slick looking one's host died.. beh! but i made it to SSGT as well as obtaining 3 awards.. woot!

Tommorrow fluffielady and i are gonna go visit spoontown.. Yes vicks, the one and only.. SPOON! Theres some festivalish dealio called the Placerville Apple Hill growers and it's apple and pear picking time. So we're gonna be innundated with apples.
Mmmm time to try to make some homemade appo pie..

Well yesterday was fun.. 6.5hrs of Cash only OT (bleh). Picking up memory packs for the election. Das right, protect the V.I.P., actually it was more like go to 5 polling places around hunters point grab the bag and return it to the station. That part was easy, polls close at 8.. we were done by 9, afterwards we became the clean-up crew. 'mobile support' yep, roam the streets of san francisco, in a clinkity-clankity paddywagon. Goodlord that thing is noisy, we roamed around till 10:40pm, then the call came in. 'someone ditched all the ballots, go get them.' ok. then a second one, after all that is said and done, tis midnight. Lordy.
The only action i saw was a poor lil pomeranian got hit by a car. i thought it was dead with it's legs in the air going in every direction. The owner was right there too! it seems that the dog was chasing it's tail in the middle of the dark street and a car drove on by. We stopped the dog from further death when a van was about to run it down. Poor thing, instructed the owner to bring the dog to an emergency vet, wrap lil doggie in blankets and that was all we could do.

Today i: busted out my sinclair case trim tool, which uses a power drill attachment to trim cases easier. It's not as precise but i seem to be able to trim it to about the same length. Ran out of bullets, gotta make more. This time some master class bullets.
Went to the shack, another flavor for me. i think i'm up to 38 out of 50 now.
and for Veterans Day, i'm gonna play battlefield 2 until i promote to Staff Sgt.. yea.. go play them games.. mwahaha

Today i: did not make it to the master class (bummed).. and it was by 1 point (superbummed). 183-3x, 96, 99-1x, 91-3x(???) total score: 469-7x.. Ultra weak! Somehow my shooting felt like mush. Somehow shots were flinging all over the place, especially in the slow prone. The weather was cold n drizzly, and turned warm and sunny. The good thing was that we got to shoot in the new redone shooting house, shots were muffled and i suppose did it's thing in the sound deflection sense. i guess my new years resolution will be next years resolution.

Next month, and janurary, i will own!

Off to the main event. Tis first year wedding anniversary! In this drizzly day fluffielady and i went to the orchid showing at the conservatory in the golden gate park. Afterwards drove around and ate at our favorite seafood place, the Hyde Street Seafood house. After eating at hyde street, we can't handle Red lobster action.

Looks like Boreal, Alpine Meadows and Soda Springs are getting into some sort of all-terrain park mountain style (called jibassic park (quite jibbly yanno!)). Kinda like Bear Mountain down in LA. Mmmm whole mountain is a terrain park.. excellent!

Oi, i have sold my soul. Signed up at 24hr fitness. After being married for a year, and having moved out too far enough to ride to work. So i've slacked off a bit. The last serious riding was for the triathlon. Fluffielady signed up a while ago and started to slack as well. i figure that we both can go.
So is it bad to be on the exercise bike and notice that the bearings on the bottom bracket are gone? And another thing, when riding the exercise bike i can do 2miles in 5:35minutes. In the real world i do a mile in about 4:30. wassup with that?

Watched National Treasure, it's an ok movie. i just like it how the good guy and bad guy always seem to either meet at the same locations at the same time.
