Badass!!
It was one of those after-rainy days, where the sky was bright blue and theres little puffs of clouds here n there. Where the visibility was mad, sausalito looked purdy. I get there around 7:50, signed up for the 1st relay and was gonna head out for the killer 4$ breakfast. One of my coworker Roderick comes by and we sign him up n dilly dally. Now it's 8:15am the match starts around 9.. could you eat a killer breakfast n be ok to shoot? Resonable minds would say to wait to the 2nd relay but we've already signed up. We eat the mad breakfast, veggie omlette for me, i know how greasy this stuff is. So i eat 1/2 of it n toss it.. Sad to toss it but i had to, for the greater good. Roderick didn't and will pay the price later.
Off to shoot but felt like crap. Not that i wanted to take one, just that coming off from that 20-hr sickness seems that i need forever to recover. Yanno the whole inner balance is all wierded and feel all tired n what not. So with a new John Holliger Tuned Two-stage trigger, and my handmade 69gr Sierra bullets. I've got my nifty new shooting diary (dearest diary, ...) I managed to fandangle a score of 450-2x. Thats hopping 2 classes.. Marksman 420pts -> Sharpshooter 445pts -> Expert 470pts -> Master 485pts -> High Master.
So my new trick is, check to see if the mags fit before shooting! *duh!* Mags shouldn't have this problem, but being how i destroy things. It's the 2nd mag that i've had a problem with.
So now i've been invited to shoot against the SFPD Snipers on thursday.. And they want me to shoot in sacramento on saturday for an 8-hour match. Another 200-300-600yard match eh? Hmmz should i go on a board meeting on friday, stay over with the shooting crew in sacramento friday night n then shoot on saturday.. I'll see, it all depends on the weather.
Afterwards, hung out with the lovely lady. We originally wanted to go to Hillsdale, but just driving to it started to look crazy. So we just went to Bridgepointe n hung out there. Old navy had some cheap stuff. We were armed with 7 bed bath n beyond coupons. Only got to use 3 of them. We headed over the Zainy Brainy, which is going out of business, slowly. Everything was 10% off, but next week i betcha it'll be 20.. n it'll go up n up n so on. Roxanne got me a stuffed baby duckie! It's the FAO schwartz baby version. Soo cute!! It must be love!
