Madness!!!
Last week there was a deal on a Compaq x1050 laptop for 1149 with 300$ rebate. After tax it comes to about 950$ pretty good deal though for a Intel Pentium-M (III-modified) 1.4, 256ddr 2100 (ick), 40gb hd, 32mb Radeon 9200 mobile graphics, 15.4" wxga..
Pros: Cheap, Radeon 9200mobile graphics..
Cons: DDR2100, WXGA, 32mb and not 64mb of Radeon graphics.
So that was last week. Well this week bestbuy has a deal on the same laptop (if you could find it) for the same price but 350$ rebate.. madness! Of course none of the stores have it. And the SF store tells me to wait till wednesday. I wonder if i could have one on reserve. hmmz. If it's there for me, then it shall be my destiny. If not. oh well.. NEXT!
