Woohoo! i gotz the DSL in the house is enabled! Truly amazing what technology can do now. When my old place got wired, they had people come in and install stuff so that DSL could work. Well now they just give you these plugs and thats it.. True plug n play and it's not even PPPoE.. just straight DHCP from pacbell itself! The only problem i'm having right now is the encryption on my desktop. It's been on wired ethernet for so long that wireless scares it. And my only predicament is that the DSL modem and Router is in one room, the computer is in another and i'm not feeling punching holes for wires *yet*.. But it's all good, sustaining 1.5Mbps for some mad downloading that i was doing.. it's all good!
in other techie news.. Mmm Centrino Dothan Chips come! 2mb cache for 1.8 and 2.0Ghz.. but at Dell, thats a 250$ option! ACK!!
