Woke up a bit late, it was tiring yesterday. We're housed at the basement and it's a bit noisy down there. Need ear plugs, which means Wal-mart time! Took a look outside and it's pretty humid, 80-degrees with a chunk of humidity. Our Uncle/Aunt-in-law's place is pretty much the same, except the cornfield to the right of the house is busting Soybeans this year, and i hear it's a pretty good year!
So fluffielady has this 'list' of things to eat that she HAS to have. Today's is Ham Salad. My grandpa used to make this macaroni salad with ham n peas, so thats what i thought it was. This one's a lil different, it's vintage ham with relish, balogne, and sometimes some food coloring. It looks pink, sorta like a ham pate, but it tastes like what a ham salad would be like. It's in the area of chicken salad or tuna salad, just with ham, and it's pink. Fluffielady was also looking for cheese salad (!?) and Pickleloaf meat, but the store didn't have any.
Good thing both the Church and the Reception hall are air con'd. I brought out my Ebay Tuxedo and had a grand ol time. The church was near by but the reception was in a town called Robinson. They're known for 1)Prison, 2)Oil refinery, and 3)Heath Bar Factory! The reception hall was next to the police station which is across the street from the county jail. Cool! Partied till about midnight and got home around 1am. There was this Frail little kitty outside the church and lo-n-behold, my uncle-in-law picked it up at the church. So cute!
