50 Foot Indoor SmallBore Rifle, 30 shots in 36 minutes, week 14:
Prone: 99-8 (6 were pinwheel centers)
Kneeling: 96-3
Standing: 93-3
Total: 288-14 (highest score for the season)
Time remaining: 3 minutes, 5 seconds

Song in the head: it's kinda lame but i had the subway 5 dollar foot long song, as well as West Side Story's - I feel pretty

It's interesting on how i came to this high score. Early i forgot that it was the thursday shoot day, my dentist calls and wonders if i'm free for 4:30pm. I agree and then realize that i had to shoot! I get to the dentist and waited until 5:45pm to be seen. My teeths get sparkly and no problems, i leave at 6:15pm. I get home and get the gear. I arrive at the range at 6:45 and a fellow shooter has just arrived as well.
Both of us shoot and somehow i have gas. The last time i had gas while shooting was in high school and i ate breakfast from burger king and had 2 cups of coke, 20 minutes before shooting.
Somehow though, everything mostly came together. Minus the 9 from prone and a 5 on the offhand. There weren't much wobble even at the offhand and this is when i realize. That what i was doing was called getting aggressive on the trigger. It turns into making a definate decision at the moment, and not any earlier or later. From mountain biking and snowboarding, hesitation equals getting injured or getting stuck. Try to live in the moment and decide quickly. One quarter of a second of pulling the trigger can result in a totally different shot.
Hopefully i can do better for the next and final week.
