Haha i knew those silly pics of mine will work out sooner or later!
i read somewhere about a bunch of PS3 and Wii given away online from various websites. One that i did was from Ignition.tv it's a site for snowboarding, skate, surf, bmx. Anyhow the contest has you upload pics and if they picked your pic then u win! 1st place is the PS3, and theres 2 second placers who wins some logitech mm50 ipod speakers. i won one of the 2nd place spots!
The winners, i dun get how sitting inbetween a wreath wins you goodies. But oh well!

Yay it's christmas!

Yesterday we shot some more, this time it was sunny. I brought out the Match AR-15 and Chronograph to measure out a bunch of load combinations. Freaking .223 research on the AR is killer. My best 5 shot group seems to be 2.25" on Federal Gold medal match primers. Each shot was next to each other in a line a little less than an inch. All other groups were all over the place at 100 yards. Rock River claims it puts out 1/2" at 100 yards. I guess if you count the 3 most tightest shots it'll be 1/2" at 100 yards. But i still currently feel that i'm not skilled to do it yet. I shoulda brought my creedmore jacket n everything.

i also got a shooting timer, used for IPSC and for other timed events. With the 686 revolver in my hand and shooting 5 steel pipes at 20 yards or so i can bust it around 5-6seconds. With my Para and IPSC shooting rig, drawing the holster and shooting 5, it comes out to around the 5 second range. Usually from the beep to the first shot is around 1.8-2.0 seconds, then every shot is about .75 seconds. Hardest part is aiming. I did get more intuitive with the 686. Now its gotta happen with the para.

Checked out my IPSC score at theRichmondhotshots website. I'm 13 outta 21, in the 65% range. Pretty good, i need to bust it 2 more times to get classed. Limited and Open divisions are the 2 main classes, and their the hardest in competition. I haven't set my goal in this pistol stuff yet, but i would like to be in a good class rank (Rankings are from Master, A, B, C, D). i just need to catch my front sight faster.

Afterwards, we saw the lights around town and ate a yummie dindins.

Yay today is opening of all the gifts. The in-laws tell me that i had the most which was surprising! It comes out that i got alotta dough from them! yay! dankies!

Ooops i forgot the 2 other boxes of Focaccia bread mixes!

Fluffielady had a dental appointment, we went to wash her RAV4 while shes getting her Sealant on.

Hung out till sunset and headed off to a place nearby called CALM the CAlifornia Living Museum. It's a zoo for injured and 'retired' animals that need a place to stay. At night they have a holiday lights festival and i think this is their second year. Last year we went to it as well, this years new thing was a ferris wheel, Oooo!
Soo much to do! soo cool!

I'm living in a 45mph world.

Back in the day people were driving with one problem. They only thought in one-dimension, Length. All these cars lined up in a row usually in the left lane. Well nowadays they've evolved to the next dimension, Width. Can u say fricking wall of 45mph cars? It's a sunny, dry day, i'm going 65mph and even at that speed i feel like i'm doing 80, passing all these cars. Man whats going on with these losers. Normally the right lane is fastest, unless they're merging. oi!

Speaking of driving, duncha just hate it when your looking for parking on the street and usually theres an open space on the other side of the street?

Handbrakes r yer friend!

Now we've headed off to Bakersfield to chill for the week. Merry Christmas!

The pic woulda been better if i got home 2 minutes faster. It's amazing from what i see at Skyline blvd, and try to rush home to get the digi cam to capture whats left. See what 2 minutes of time does? All of the topmost clouds woulda been lit by the purple-red glow as well.

Right time, right place gets you the pic of a lifetime:

"Catch of the Day" (duh it says so) By Thomas Mangelsen, Outdoor Photographer extrodinare!

Today and yesterday was quite busy, and uh, we're almost finished with our xmas cards, so they might be a *little* late. Wrapped some gifts, and loaded some more research bullets. Last time was for the Thompson Contender, this time it's for my Match AR. Research, lots of it, equals lots of bangbangbang!

An old school Anime called Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind came out in 1984. It's an anime aimed towards 9-13 year olds. It's a story about people living a peaceful existance and warring peoples come and take over, killing and destroying things. Life, respect for nature and each other is the main theme. One of the main characters, Nausicaa is a teenage lady princess who likes to use this glider wing type ship, she glows of happiness and a youthful innocence with a knowledge of a balance of nature.

Well of course who else but the Japanese who created the anime is set on creating the actual glider plane called the OpenSky Project. Right now it's in glider testing but the thing does seem to work.

Thats what i'm talking about!

Man today was a busy day.
9:15am-1:30pm IPSC Limited At Richmond Rod n gun
2:00pm-5:00pm Fluffieladys School Coworker Christmas Party
6:30pm-8:20pm Hung out with the crew at Straits Cafe in Burlingame.

IPSC was cool, pretty good for 2nd time go at it. Stupid 2 No shoots this time, i swear one of them was there already. Did ok, i think, i wish i was faster though. But hey it is my 2nd time doing this.

This is what i'm talking about:

Xmas party was decent, silly white elephant theme of give up your junk. Someone brought a Chinese chess set. Out of everybody there i'm the only one who knows how to play. I got some Salsa pots and Fluffielady got, of course, candles.

Straits cafe was pretty good, Fluffielady ordered the Chicken Satay but it came after i asked and they seem to know already but yet it was the last dish to come out. Appetizers after everybodys entree anyone? i dunno about the 10$ martinis, come to my house i make u some raspberrymelontinis for less.

i just like to fly, and to see others flying brings great enjoyment.
But this is what i'm talking about. i wonder if the General Lee is astounded.

i remember when they changed body forms from the Subaru Impreza WRX STi-22.b To the new WRX body (2001 to 2004) that one improvement was the chassis was upgraded to withstand 6 times it's weight on impact, due to it's large suspension travel length (8"+) and stiff structure. Rally technology trickled down to the masses. Isn't that a beautiful thing? Thats why i like rally racing: a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine pumping 330+ horsepower, 300+ Ft/Lbs Torque, on a 1800pound chassis (with a carbon fiber shell) that can withstand multiple times it's own weight, using the most advanced All-wheel drive AND using sequential gearing, flying in the air, under a foot of water, in the snow or mud? $500k for a 'stock' rally car.. yum.. So why is NASCAR so cool?

Too bad the pilot (driver?) of this WRX won't tell us how far he went (100ft+). But it shows the weight distribution of the car is fairly even. Cars in flight (like you'll see many of those) will show you how balanced the car is since theres nothing holding it down. So a front heavy car (like Delilah) woulda started tilting forward after a few seconds of air. And that would be a bad thing, so no jumping for u Delilah!

Oh ya, start saving your money, the PlayStation4 is due to arrive approximately 2010. Who knows how much this puppys gonna cost and what it's gonna be capable of doing.

My horoscope today in the Examiner says something to the effect of: 'today there will be much disarray, you can try to sort it all out, but it won't happen without a 'click'.'
And click i did, 100% off the qualifications. This years qualifications are more 'interactive' actually using movement! Scary idea! And already one person went out on disability going at most 3-steps off of a 10-yard 'sprint' (might as well hop/skip/jump). One things for certain, it went pretty quick.

I've noticed that everyday is a national something or whatzit day.
Today is AIDS awareness day.
Tommorrow is Play Basketball day
November 19 was National Ammo day (??)
August 27 was National forgotten friend day (Domingo!)

What is going on? Hallmark must really be going crazy making national ammo day cards! woo!
