Last night was fun, hanging out at the Mills Peninsula Sleep Center, located in the hospital. Ahh yea the memories 8 weeks ago of rushing about with a huffing puffing fluffielady. This time it's my turn.
Getting there at 8pm, i was ready to go. My nurse Alison stuck a bunch of electrodes and other strappy sensory gear all over me for the night. We watched a bit of House as the setup takes 40minutes or so. It involves alot of glue and air compressoring. Take the sleepy pill and hang out. When she was done i plopped down and watched Fringe and decided to sleep about 3/4 of the way into it.
All the gizmotronics were slightly a bother, i do remember waking up to someone running in to turn on the air con. Then i was later awoken to put on a CPAP mask to thwart the snoring, they only put the mask on if i stop breathing. *Sigh*.. The pressure from the mask was kinda funny feeling, it took a few minutes to get used to it. I was awaken at 6:15am and booted by 7.
So the data gets reviewed and forwarded to my doctor, she'll see whats to happen. oh funfunfun..

Today i started up a blog for fluffielady involving her jewelries. The site that she pays for is limited in usage. Her cookie lee site in itself runs marginally on Internet explorer and sucks nut on firefox. Silly site designers.

Roamed highway 80 to Sacramento and further on towards Roseville.
Stopped at Sacramento and hung out with Brotha Eli. We ate at Umeko, a japanese buffet thats more chinese food then sushi. Ryan wanted to meet up and chill, so we did.
After eating, we were near this Electronics Surplus Supply store. It is the graveyard of electronics. They had electroscopes, VESA, ISA, SCSI (and all it's versions), Laptop boards, all kinds of crazy stuff. Chips laying around, ram of all kinds strewn about. The only thing new were the keyboards and hard drive enclosures. If you're looking for barebone dell systems, they have it for 100$. I didn't see if they had mouseballs, they had every cable out there. The best was the 1960's scientific scales. Large enclosures that measured probably to the millionth of a milligram. The ONE thing i didn't find was a IBM M-Keyboard, the ultimate computer keyboard. Too bad it uses the old AT connectors. I wonder if they take e-waste?
Later, we roamed to Roseville for Fluffielady to resupply on her jewelries. SOMEONE took a while (2hrs) in the store. In that time i was trying to teach the techniques and methods of driving a motor vehicle. I dunno if he got what i was instructing..
While heading back home we stopped at Mary's Pizza Shack at Pitt School Road in Dixon. We ordered some sort of Chicken Ranch pizza and it was a little too salty, sometimes it's the cheese but we dunno. It needed some marinara maybe? 19$ for a medium.

Hung out with the Fluffielady for some Cookie Lee action at Seabowl. They were hosting a hot rod car show of sorts. Bring out your poodle skirts, slicked back hair with combs in the back pocket, Ben Davis or Dickie pants and fishnet stockings, just not all together. Bring out your old schools, wax and chrome. There was live music and raffle. Nobody was bowling in Seabowl, most of the people in there were buying food and drinks.

3 pic stitch of the Seabowl Parking lot, which there were no spaces for 'normal' cars. People were parked up the hill, onto a never used road. I guess thats the use of the non-used road, overload parking.

Got Grillz?
Speaking of Chopt 1949, i had this perfectly framed, until i saw what i got and on the upper corner was some dood standing around. Crop! You could still barely see his hat. Thats me squatting for the shot.

I always liked such vintage mobiles. I told myself that one day i'll go through the blood, sweat and tears on rebuilding one sometime in my life. And when i heard how much cash was invovled, i guess thats what the tears part in blood, sweat and tears is. Of course those were the days when a house in SF was 450-500k.

Its a LowLow. There were quite a few hydraulic and air bagged cars. Its a daily driver the guy says.. Riiight.

Fluffielady didn't sell that much, it was probably because i was there. I tend to kill sales. Maybe i should have slicked back my hair and wore some west coast chopper stuff. Oh well.

Yesterday we worked it. Fluffielady had a booth show at the community center and i had extra duties due to the fact that on the way to the center we spotted an opened UPS box on the side of the road. fluffielady wanted to see what it was, so we pulled over and it was a box of eyewear brochures to a guy in daly city. Someone musta took the box, drove off, opened it and realized it was worthless. So of course after dropping off fluffielady, i had the duty to find the address and deliver.

Ahhh yea Sizzler and Bowling action rocked last night and some of the crew hung out at our place till 2:30am (and yes here i am 8:30am posting this)! Man the last time i stayed up that late was ages! And at that time i knew it was time to sleep when the sunrise was coming!
But the Sizzler was super busy, our server was pretty good at getting things flowing.
Bowling ruled, Roz taught me how to bowl two fingered to create the hooking type bowling. It became whole bodied and it wasn't effortless but it wasn't as tiring as the swinging arm in an arc type bowling. Right now my arm and wrist is a little sore, it's not too bad. After a 2-hour gaming session (thx roz n robyn!), everybody was quite beat. It wasn't no wii bowling today!
All i need is a 12-pounder in a large, thats the sweet spot for me.
I just happen to look up bowling on youtube and found this..

Somehow i can see my brother doing this stuff.

Thanks guys for coming! I smell a red robins and a bowl creeping up soon.

Off to go bang again:
200 Yard Slow Offhand: 184-4x
200 Yard Rapid Sitting: 94-3x
300 Yard Rapid Prone: 100-7x (Thats Pro!)
600 Yard Slow Prone: 97
Total: 475-14x
Song in the brain: Live Orchestra of Final Fantasy VII Songs.

Ahh yea typical overcast day, grey all over the place, but thats cool for shooting both for target as well as photographs! Tried out the service rifle sling and it worked excellently on the rapid prone. My offhands coulda been better but i think i'm overholding them for at least 2 or 3 shots. Overholding = bad.
When i sighted in at the rapid prone shots were going low 6 and 7 o'clock 10's, so i clicked 2 up and landed with this:

10-shot group: 1.7695" center to center
Smallest 3-shot group: .35" @ 200 yds!
Smallest 5-shot group: .65"

i think i'm reaching the limit of the rifles capability of .5" at 100yds. The prone was one of those that felt natural if thats an easy way to explain it. The rhythm and position resetting came all together right on target. Now if i can do this more often on the other positions, that'd rule. My sitting involved a touch of muscling which is bad, so Overholding is bad, Muscling is bad and overholding + muscling is the worse!
So i guess things are going well if people start accusing me of cheating. i don't cheat, i just pay the scorer well. heh

Getting home fluffielady was setting up for the home party:

Come on over!

Lets see:
Friday night, went over to some of Fluffielady's Co-workers for a dual-birthday action at the twin peaks area. Funny thing was that i wanted to get my drink on and fluffielady was feeling tired n sickie. After hanging out there for a while she was lively and i'm tired n sleepy. Thats right, drunk school teachers woo!

Saturday pretty much hung out all day at Lil Lizzies Baptism:

The ceremony was ok, the priest kinda just went through the motions kinda. There was another couple getting their child baptised an among that crowd was some parents that me n bert haven't seen since the 8th grade. So i ambushed them and they all had strange faces when i tried to tell them who i was. Flashback funness!
Reception at the Banana Island, we were bombarded with tons of food! Chatted with some aunties and others that i see here n there. Time flew because we were hanging out there from 12:30 till 4pm!

Today we woke up around 9:30am. Fluffielady has a Cookie Lee conference type dealios so i'm gonna try to get a haircut (heh), wash n wax my car (whoa!), do laundry and shop for groceries. Ahh yea work it!

Tech News:
Last year's 108" LCD was well, so last year. 'cuz this years Display winner is:

TechnoVision 205" Screen, it doesn't say what it's display type is though.
Another neat thing that i found is PackageMapping.com You stick in your FedEx, UPS, DHL packages and it shows you where it's at and how far it's traveled. It just takes the data that you see on the shippers site and plots it on a geographic map. Neato!

Been somewhat on the busy side..

Yesterday, Fluffielady and i first headed to Roseville for her Cookie Lee madness. She had a little 1.5hr class and shopped a little (heh) for product to sell. I roamed around town and saw some sights, and caught up on my bleach. Headed to the Roseville Galleria, which is an interesting place. It's a westfield mall, but it's business strategy is different. Its a mix of high and low end stores. Nordstroms on one side, Sears on the other. A boutique here but then Wet Seal across from it. All i know is, if you can park your Lamborghini Gallardo next to a Honda Civic i guess the mix of stores works well with the mix of clients.
Afterwards, headed to Sacramento and met up with Brotha Eli. It's been a while since we've hung out with him. He's doing fine, pimpin at Apple. Lost a bit of weight (it's from playing the Wii), we caught up on some Ol Skool Fresno People news, ate like a savage at a Japanese Buffet, rolled around the streets of Sacto. It was a Fresno Flashback, minus the hands-on eating style that Eli was soo good at (good ol college stories). Hung out till 9pm, man does time fly! Especially when today is Daylight Savings time too.
When we got home at 11pm, a neat package from Amazon came, my Ds Lite! Woohoo! It's pretty cool, i like the thing, i just wonder if i should change my wireless protections from WPA to Wep (ick). Nintendo does sell a USB stick to route the wireless from the DS or Wii through a computer. Man talk about 802.11 wireless waves going all over the place!

Today, woke up, packed some gunz and went to Chabot to meet up with a coworker with his new toys. I thought i was late, getting there at 11, but he got there at noon. In the while i tried sighting in my M1 Garand and it was all light-strikes. A few fellows around me tried to help but didn't understand it as well. And since i just got there now i look like a Noob (or newb, per Sherwins Slang Flashcards). Tinkered with it some more and got irritated, pulled out the AR and started capping away easily. To my right were two guys with off-list AR-15's! One Shot without the pistolgrip, because having one equals ASSAULT WEAPON (OOooo!), the other guy got this neat workaround called the U15 Stock. Kinda neat.
So no go with the M1 garand i come to find out that the firing pin snapped (weak!)! For a rifle thats only had about 120rounds through it! At least i got the 686 tuned to where it goes boom and is pretty smooth working. It's cool, also i'm good to go on the 686 to 75 yards. Excellent!
