i've been having frequent dreams and have been posting them on facebook for a while now. Heres the compilation, included are a few zen shooting songs:
2/10/10 dreamt that he and Sherwin were playing Left4Dead's survivial map for 17 hours. I found a glitch and went to sleep, Sherwin played it all 17 hrs. Thats right, i dreamt i went to sleep..
2/9/10 dreamt he was in a chinese wedding banquet party, and the group was going from table to table with drinks in hand wishing everybody happiness, prosperity, all the goodies. The only thing is, my shot glass was continously filled with mixed veggies. Corn, carrots, etc.
2/7/10 Todays High Power Rifle Match zen music was: Kanya West - Flashing Lights
2/6/10 dreamt that he was studying the difference between Chimpanzee and Human DNA. It's neat to know that humans are missing 2 letters of a gene which leads to greater brain development and physical space. Of course it doesn't help that i watched it on Nova last night.
2/5/10 dreamt that he was in one of three very large party buses. Alton was there as well as tons of others. We were either rolling in the east coast, a town with narrow hilly curvy streets, either Brattleboro, VT or Newport, RI. The bus was huge like a hall. We passed by a few pizzerias and bars. The last thing i remembered was figuring out tip for the driver.
2/4/10 dreamt that he was back in SFB's 8th grade at a large hall with oak wood and large windows with beams of light shining through it the only exception was the floors was still that funky red and yellow tile from the hall at the real SFB. The class was sitting around the room in the usual Aqua blue uniforms.
2/3/10 dreamt that my backyard connected to the mall. My own personal entrance!
2/1/10 dreamt he was on vacation and that we had to check out of the hotel soon. It might have been greece, with the white stucco curved walled streets by the water.
1/31/10 dreamt that he helped pull a pick up truck out of a ditch near Yosemite. It was soo senic!
1/29/10 dreamt that he was bionic. Because i was bowling but at the same time someone was replacing my left leg with a newer model.
1/28/10 The zen Small Bore shooting moment was: Lady GaGa - Paparazzi
1/25/10 dremt that he was doing WRC pre-rally course notes with a guy named Otz.
1/23/10 dreamt that he was in the search for Moogles!
1/21/10 dreamt that Roxanne and i wanted this thing blessed by a priest. But to get to him we needed to take a boat into the Bermuda Triangle. Todays dream was more relaxed, i dreamt that i was walking a dog the size of a horse.
1/19/10 dreamt that he was at a grand opening of a store and they had a dungeons and dragons competition. In the break i rode my bicycle around the mall area, there was a line waiting to get into the store and two bicycle stores in the mall were packed as well.
1/16/10 dreamt that he was on a touristy tropical island, standing in line at a brick lined restaurant waiting for clam chowder. In the island the explorers of the 1400's who found the place decided to stay and built a giant concrete tower monument with their wooden boats on top. i was haggling with a guy about valet parking, ...and was telling a kid that i somehow knew about the clam chowder.

dream:
Mini-Toast and I were at Roz's supermega hugehouse for a party. Mini-Toast was in n out of the extremely large backyard and had small fine black rocks stuck to his skin. We decide to go to the bathroom to get cleaned up. The bathroom was the size of my first floor of my house and the sink was so large and deep it was it's own kiddie pool. With that i taught him how to hold his breath and dipped him underwater. I lifted him back up and could see the water cascading off his head. He liked the dip. i loved the house..

Dream:
Two dreams last night.
1) i was snowboarding, i think we were in Canada. it wasn't a hillside that i was familiar in the tahoe area. J, Vicks and her extended family were there chillin on a semi-steep hillside shaped kind of like the letter H. The sky was cloudy but bright and it may have been lightly snowing but we didn't feel much of that. We were sitting there trying to figure out where to go. Somehow the lift dropped us off halfway up the mountain and we were deciding which way to go. I opened up the trail map and one run had optional river crossing runs! go fast enough and you'll just float over them... surre..
2) i was at a massive christmas party with coworkers. And i hear someone saying that the fruit punch is from Roscoe's Chicken n Waffles. It was at the back of a restraunt with tents and there were TONS of people. Good times were had..

Dream:
Andrew and Marlia were riding in delilah with me and we were going here n there. Well someone set the gravity of the world to 25% of what it normally is and so every freeway ramp became a jump. We were flying all over the place and it was pretty fun.. i was wondering how nobody smashed into each other..

Does the dream count if you were still awake? The first one was when i was laying in bed inbetween sleep and not.. How do i know? it's a skill i learned from working in the midnight shift.
Multiple Dreams:
-One involved talked to an oracle type being. Except that being is a diamond encrusted giant frog statue.. It was oh so glowing and pretty. But what was said and done, i don't remember.
-Another involved me giving direction assistance to some guy as he tours around S.F.. First he wanted a certain ATM, ok, we start heading towards it, then i asked if he wanted one that was closer, he then stated that he didn't care. Now we're in some alley looking place with some seedy folk and people start approaching. I somehow pull out my light saber and summon the dragon Kagutsuchi from the anime My Hime, except i called him Zangetsu from the anime Bleach. The dragon comes and i realize that it's pretty badass that i can summon beasts not to mention toting a light saber.. that is all i remember..

Dream:
I was hanging out in spain or somewhere in the Mediterranean looking at fish to buy. It's always nice to shop for a good fresh fish..

Dream:
All that i remember was i learned how to scuba dive on a one day free pass at this shop. There were a few lakes that you could play in etc.. And the dream is at it's second day, Capt'n D is there and so is my brother and his friend david. I was in line to rent all the necessary gear. The shop though looked like an AM/PM. Someone, maybe the cash register guy asked if David knew knife combat techniques. I told him of course.
Thats all i remembered..

Lately i've been dreaming quite a bit, but i've been too lazy or too slow to post it that i could remember.. One dream involved me owning a Mini Cooper, another was about living in Amsterdam.
Yesterday was the league dinner at the Irish Cultural Center by the zoo. It was a semi-low key affair. The little munchkin did pretty well hanging out with the fellow shooters from the different clubs. Dinner was decent and our gifts of fleece jackets were pretty cool. The main surprise for me was that i won high iron sight average score for the season.
Prone: 98.75
Kneeling: 93
Standing: 86.33
Total: 278.08
I think if a certain fellow shooter or two would have completed 12 of the 15 matches, they would have taken my award. Pretty cool how the cards fell.

Dream: It's a funny one.
Somehow the crew and i were chillin at a rooftop cafe in Prague or some eastern european nation eating lunch. The only thing i remember of the lunch was that i think it was Brian who bought a bottle of alkies. He offered it around and i had the last bit of it. As we were chilling i started to look at the bottle and see if i could decipher any of it. On the back of the bottle says the usual flowery description of the flavor and brewing / distilling process. The last two sentences says "We only have one review of our beverage from a Andy Huey. Please mail us if you find this beverage an exceptional one." I showed everybody and we were busting out laughing.
After the lunch, nearby was a tenant-owner dispute. The elderly owner wanted to kick out the young family, shouting something about them being too loud and something about a bowling ball. The only image i had were these multilevel beautifully decorated gothic house. They were like the Painted Ladies of SF but 4-6 story, made of stone and had all the accoutrements of castles, and built side by side. It had spires, gargoyles, gold tipped pieces, arches, all that stonework. And thats how the neighborhood looked!

I had two dreams but i forgot the first because the second was much more interesting.

Dream:
Somehow it snowed in San Francisco, and made it into a winter wonderland. And there are skii lifts all over the city. The whole gang was ready to skii at noe valley, Roz, Paul, Vicks, J, Bert, and My brother. i was wearing those short skiis which i've never had experience with but oh well. We go down clipper and another hill with ease. And halfway down i see Ana Sanz, she was exiting a coffee shop and was chatting with the owner. I stopped to say hi and told her that a few of us will be arriving soon. She looks at me and says soon as in a few days? Nope, soon as in 30 seconds. Which then everybody rode by, stopped and gave ana a hug. It was pretty cool, then i awake.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1 out of 10

Today i redished my rear wheel on the trek roadie. I think the driveside was too close to the center of the rim. Causing the chainline angle to be off and causing silly chain hopping sillyness. 1/2 turn of the nipples, lets see if that'll work..
I bought a Kingston 16GB 133x for the 7D and it writes and reads slower then the Standard Kingston 2GB (80x?). When the camera is started it takes some time (a few seconds) to figure out how many snapshots i have left. While the 2GB is instant. I just did a test where taking up the buffer of 9 shots it took 18.5 seconds on the 2gb but 1minute 34.5 seconds on the 16. Whats up with that?

2) I just forgot.. dangit!

Dream:
I dreamt that I was taking the subways of SF and whichever train I take, I would meet up with someone. I first took the muni train to downtown and meet up with jenny ,roz and someone else. I went to my aunts place and upgraded my phone to something like a nokia e90 series. I then get to the bart station where i meet a coworker. Somehow the Bart lines were having transfering train problems. But when I eventually got into a train. Roz and two additional coworkers were on it. All of us were heading towards antioch, the strange part was, I somehow live in Antioch now. Why would I do that.

Dream:
Hanging out with the crew at Thailand but it looked alot like Chinatown SF. We go to a touristy yet hidden street diner. Fluffielady and I were either living at a multiunit Victorian building or some fancy old hotel, and Eli was living in the upper unit. He had to show me something at his place but we never get to it. Anyhow all of us started walking around and we reach this alley that was decorated. It had lights, an awning, plastic walls and long tables. The crew gathers and we all sit down to all the food was served. All kinds of spicy goodness was there. Then one dish was passed around involving sliced hard boiled eggs.
Once i see and realize the sliced hard boiled eggs i noticed that i was in another hard boiled egg dream! Then I awaken.
