Today is sponsored by total geekdom:

Dood in England went on a slight remodelling frenzy on his condo. I know a few buddies who might be interested. Too bad it's sold already, i never did see the final amount on ebay. It was estimated to be from $200k-1million.

All that and no Bedroom?? what the??

And for us AD&D, and Palladium folk (who?) Screw the standard d6 (Geekspeek for 6 sided) fuzzy dice, it's all about the d20 fuzzy dice!

One more oddball tidbit:
Talk about Bugs Bunny Syndrome, remember the few episodes when bugs bunny defends his rabbit hole against the mongers who wants to build a freeway through his home? This is similiar! An Asian Couple refuses to leave their home whom the land around it was purchased by developers who want to build a mall.

Wouldn't it be nice to wake up and have a mall built around you? Shopping would be soo effortless.

Chillin..

It's nice to have a day to do nothing, it's been a while.
Went to the Back Craka- i've noticed that the past two days i felt taller while on the snowboard. Cracking your back works! Mailed some stuff for da Fluffielady, bought some groceries, did some laundry, messed with the fish tank. Caught up on tech news n found some nifty videos. Both involve skillz:

2-year old Playing Wii Tennis:

Two things about this kid. 1) he can skip the replay scenes with ease, and 2) he gets kinda vocal when trying to hit the ball. Silly Cute Kid!

This is the real tokyo drift. Precision style:

Way better than the helicopter opening beer bottles!

Capt'n D says wassup.

Saturday @ Sierra At Tahoe:

Conditions at Sierra-At-Tahoe : Blue Sky with Puffy Clouds, Sugary Snow at Morning, Slushie in the Afternoon (ick), No Snow on Trees, Sunny Warm Almost Hot, Not many people for a weekend..

Woke up at 5:15am on to the journey to South Tahoe, got the Capt'n n started flowing. Got to Sierra Pretty early 9:15am. Snow was ok, discount coupon felt good to go. There was no wait on the lifts for the weekends which was wierd. One Section of the mountain was already closed. You can see the dirt at some places. Riding was pretty good, i bought new used boots off of ebay that were pretty new looking. The inside liner was awefully tight, even with the laces being loosely tied i still had to take off the boot every 3rd run! But at the end of the day i guess the heat activated memory foam got to conforming to my foot. Didn't do much terrain park since it seems that it's all these monster takeoffs now.

Got to the hotel, which kinda was just shelter for us. The walls were pretty thin, and the faucet spewed out milky water, hot or cold. The swimming pool is half filled and is habitated by two mallard ducks. At least the hot tub is operational.

Ventured off to the casinos, the last time i was here there was a Ceasars Palace, now it's the MontBleu. Dangit i liked this restaurant that was extreme sportish themed, they had excellent pizza! Bah! Guess MontBleu has been here for a year now. Lordy!

Sunday @ Kirkwood:
Weather Conditions at Kirkwood : Cloudy Sky, Hard crust snow at in the morning, decent sugary stuff afterwards, Windy, Not as packed in terms of peoples. No waiting for the lifts. Weather Forecasted Cloudy colder than Saturday.

Woke up sorta sore, had to use earplugs in the middle of the night to get the car noises and the passing conversations (i felt like i was there) away.

Kirkwood was pretty good, got there about 9:30. We began into this ice capades hard snow. So learning from past times, we headed to where the sun was and hung out on the west side where the snow was softer. Had to bust out the jacket for today.
Eventually got to the center of the park and towards nooblet land on the east side. There happens to be a small (is 6ft small?) halfpipe in which we spent many runs trying to spin. At first i could do a heelside 180 at the top but not a toeside. I just couldn't whip it! (Whip it real good!) After the 3rd run i started to get it and started to slightly own the halfpipe. It feels good to do silly stuff.

Got back and ate at a place called Freshies, it's semi hawaiian semi californian. Pretty good food. Asked around about mondays adventure at homewood, and people did not advise it. I started feeling sore and called an end. We'll just hang out and take out time back, the rain is supposed to come.

Hit the hot tub and ran the jets on my calves, man to they hurt!

Monday (today):
Chillin at a Coffee shop for the free wireless, typing all this up. It's sunny for now. I'm feeling all sore on my back, shoulder, calves, neck. My chiropracter is gonna love me tommorrow.
Packed up and checked out, we're gonna slowly head back to the bay stopping at some places to get goods that the Capt'n is looking for.
Too bad the trip was so short, but i think most of the skii places are gonna close soon. Maybe a few will stay open but snow's not looking good to ride on in the next weeks. i want to go at least one more this season, we'll see.

Yesterday reconfiged the wireless network to accept the ds lite, immediately after that owned some dood on 2 games of tetris DS.. nice..

The story of that day:
Theres 2 single parents that meet up and marry, both having multiple children (lost count), most of them has visited juvie. One kid was sent out of state to do a program , usually it takes about 6-9months. The kid has been there for two years, due to running away and whatever troubles he can get into. One day counselor sees the kid in a depressed kinda mood. Counselor asks whats up, kid says that he hasn't seen his mum in 2 years. Counselor somehow gets the program to pay free round-trip for the mother to visit, everything paid for. Well what about dad? Dad comes and tells the judge that it's not fair that only one parent is going and he demands that the court pay for him. Judge says no. Parents get angry. Is there something i'm not getting about the parents? You know what they should be able to get a round-trip ticket, if they pay for the 2 years of tax payer money being dumped into the kid. Jeez

For Your Viewing Pleasure:
Mr. Wieber Rules, this is the dood where i borrowed his trick RotoScoping Skills (7min video). I especially like the effects that he did on the wall there:

Lets see:
Friday night, went over to some of Fluffielady's Co-workers for a dual-birthday action at the twin peaks area. Funny thing was that i wanted to get my drink on and fluffielady was feeling tired n sickie. After hanging out there for a while she was lively and i'm tired n sleepy. Thats right, drunk school teachers woo!

Saturday pretty much hung out all day at Lil Lizzies Baptism:

The ceremony was ok, the priest kinda just went through the motions kinda. There was another couple getting their child baptised an among that crowd was some parents that me n bert haven't seen since the 8th grade. So i ambushed them and they all had strange faces when i tried to tell them who i was. Flashback funness!
Reception at the Banana Island, we were bombarded with tons of food! Chatted with some aunties and others that i see here n there. Time flew because we were hanging out there from 12:30 till 4pm!

Today we woke up around 9:30am. Fluffielady has a Cookie Lee conference type dealios so i'm gonna try to get a haircut (heh), wash n wax my car (whoa!), do laundry and shop for groceries. Ahh yea work it!

Tech News:
Last year's 108" LCD was well, so last year. 'cuz this years Display winner is:

TechnoVision 205" Screen, it doesn't say what it's display type is though.
Another neat thing that i found is PackageMapping.com You stick in your FedEx, UPS, DHL packages and it shows you where it's at and how far it's traveled. It just takes the data that you see on the shippers site and plots it on a geographic map. Neato!

Todays Dream: i dreamt that i was driving fluffielady's vehicle, i dunno if it was the Civic or the Rav4, but it was a white vehicle, but it had somekinda sportshift automatic transmission. Fluffielady's driving my car but i have no idea why. Both of us are driving on Ocean Blvd. But instead of it being a Blvd, it was more like a freeway, and in one direction with everybody driving at 60mph. Anyhow i felt the need to accelerate semi-hard and all of a sudden i see flames shooting out of the tailpipe. I was on 4th or 5th gear so i flick the shifter to 2nd but yet flames are still shooting out. Fluffielady comes up to me saying that my car doesn't turn right that well. i found it funny then i woke up.

Classic Americana Eh?:
i love defense lawyers. i love one especially, she likes to twist ANYTHING into innocence. a few memorable Quotes:
- 'my client needs to be released, he is 13 and rides a bike for fun dangit.'
- 'your honor, this is classic americana, this is what boys do what boys do.' (3 boys caught throwing rocks at elderly people and then figure that they could steal their stuff as well.)

Sold my soul, linking a link to a site and now i'm getting paid!

Good thing about the Nalgene is that it's not just any kinda green, it's Cash Money Green. Pimpcup project begins!

Been somewhat on the busy side..

Yesterday, Fluffielady and i first headed to Roseville for her Cookie Lee madness. She had a little 1.5hr class and shopped a little (heh) for product to sell. I roamed around town and saw some sights, and caught up on my bleach. Headed to the Roseville Galleria, which is an interesting place. It's a westfield mall, but it's business strategy is different. Its a mix of high and low end stores. Nordstroms on one side, Sears on the other. A boutique here but then Wet Seal across from it. All i know is, if you can park your Lamborghini Gallardo next to a Honda Civic i guess the mix of stores works well with the mix of clients.
Afterwards, headed to Sacramento and met up with Brotha Eli. It's been a while since we've hung out with him. He's doing fine, pimpin at Apple. Lost a bit of weight (it's from playing the Wii), we caught up on some Ol Skool Fresno People news, ate like a savage at a Japanese Buffet, rolled around the streets of Sacto. It was a Fresno Flashback, minus the hands-on eating style that Eli was soo good at (good ol college stories). Hung out till 9pm, man does time fly! Especially when today is Daylight Savings time too.
When we got home at 11pm, a neat package from Amazon came, my Ds Lite! Woohoo! It's pretty cool, i like the thing, i just wonder if i should change my wireless protections from WPA to Wep (ick). Nintendo does sell a USB stick to route the wireless from the DS or Wii through a computer. Man talk about 802.11 wireless waves going all over the place!

Today, woke up, packed some gunz and went to Chabot to meet up with a coworker with his new toys. I thought i was late, getting there at 11, but he got there at noon. In the while i tried sighting in my M1 Garand and it was all light-strikes. A few fellows around me tried to help but didn't understand it as well. And since i just got there now i look like a Noob (or newb, per Sherwins Slang Flashcards). Tinkered with it some more and got irritated, pulled out the AR and started capping away easily. To my right were two guys with off-list AR-15's! One Shot without the pistolgrip, because having one equals ASSAULT WEAPON (OOooo!), the other guy got this neat workaround called the U15 Stock. Kinda neat.
So no go with the M1 garand i come to find out that the firing pin snapped (weak!)! For a rifle thats only had about 120rounds through it! At least i got the 686 tuned to where it goes boom and is pretty smooth working. It's cool, also i'm good to go on the 686 to 75 yards. Excellent!

Interesting Site:

Death By caffeine, they also have Death by Certain brands of Mints and Candies (13,991.25 Hershey's Kisses for my doom). I never knew you could go out with fresh breath and a sugar high!

I've pieced back my 686 and it seems to work. Silly directions state that i tune the pull to 7lbs. HowDooYooDooDat without a trigger pull scale? The answer is Trial and Error or go buy a scale! At least it feels nice n smooth. On the Video the tuning actually is to simulate 6000 rounds of wear. After taking apart the four pieces that i could, i found some uneven wear and roughness on some parts still there. Light grinding, does the job, it's more smoother. The most noticeable is the replacing of the mainspring as well as the trigger rebound spring, which was my main reason to open it up. It's nice! Can't wait to shoot it this Sunday, anybody wanna come?

The tuning begins!

i bought Jerry Miculeks Trigger Job for S&W revolvers, got all the gear and went to town at it. I can't seem to be able to remove the trigger as easily as Mr. Miculek can, and throughtout my mechanical knowledge, if u can wiggle it out, don't force it out or it'll break. So it's a trigger job without working on the trigger for the moment.
And for those who dunno who he is (the audio is slightly off the video):

Sell your soul! i'm pondering a pimp cup that i wanna make with a Nalgene bottle. My brother found this somewhere and i gotta sell my soul for the goods. All i know in life is, save your knees!

I forgot to add about Delilah that she now revs about 1k less and with that i guess i'm getting good milage (28-29.5 mpg! highway, normally it's 25-26.5mpg), but then that might be because everything is freeflowing and new. Purr purr goes delilah!

The price to pay for admission. Burn Mark from a .223 case, it fell into my jacket sleeve causing the owie dance including a flailing arm.

Admission to what? :To the Master Class.
200 Yard Slow Offhand: 187-3x
200 Yard Rapid Sitting: 99-3x
300 Yard Rapid Prone: 100-3x (i think it's a 99)
600 Yard Slow Prone: 98-3x
Total: 484-12x (1 point away from the HIGH master class!)

Check one off of my new years resolution from 2004!
Weather was cloudy with a haze. Sausalito from highway 80 was clouded in, looking at SF was through a foggy lens. Everybody was relaxed today the only bad thing was that on the point next to me is this annoying distractive talkative guy. The guy has all the high tech goodies, i think he shot a 472. My focus was on other things. My perception seems to have gone out of whack. I was waving my rifle all over the place. I've never seen so much sway ever, my natural point of aim seemed to be pointed at the distractive talkative guy's target. There were shots where i swear was out there wasn't. On the Rapid sitting i swear i was hitting to the left in the 9-ring but it came out to be a bunch on the 10-ring. The shooting term for that is 'my zero is shrinking'. In the beginning it was to allow for say a miss or two, after a while the focus is onto zero misses, then it's a few in the white-area, then less and less. My fellow shooters are telling me to hurry up and jump to the high master class and get out of the master class already. Jeez!

Driving Delilah is sweet! I dunno what they did, i'll call tomorrow or something but it seems that my flywheel got really lightened, and the pedal hydraulics is almost nil. There use to be resistance when pressing and with that pedal feel when engaging the clutch. Now there is slight to no resistance so theres no pedal feel of clutch engagement. I just hafta try it on a steep hill, Delilah runs pretty smooth now!

Good Times Good Times.
After shooting, went to Vicks, J, Sherwin n Pookies Berfdays party. It was pretty cool mellow hangout, excellent spread of yummie foodz. Played with Sherwins Digi-SLR camera, brings memories of my Minolta 7000i 35mm FILM baby! I'd like to have one again, like the Sony Alpha (it fits my 7000i lenses), but it's bulk is it's downfall. Vicks brought the Wii, Fluffielady and i had at it while the others played texas hold-em. First time on the wii, it's pretty cool. Played a few of the sports games as well as their usual monkey madness franchise. Instead of actual physical motion, for me it's about wrist action. The games do get your heart going though! All my years of playing video games i never moved the controller. Playing with the Wii, and having to tilt, swing, twist, up,up,down, down, left, right, left, right physically on the controller took a little for me to understand. Fluffielady is now contemplating owning one, woot! If you could find one, they're still sold out everywhere!

Purdy weather today equals purdy sunsets. Look to the right it's Hawaii! (hehe)

This is a rare story, guy brakes into ex-gf apartment with a sword. He's met with the current boyfriend who also collects swords. Guy breaking-in is 'disarmed' (heh) not violently though (boo). Things are getting medieval!

Everybody at work was going gaga over the controversial Asian Supremacist guy who wrote a racially charged opinion piece on the Asianweek newspaper. After seeing other of his works, the guy is a nut. One of those everybody is against me, because everybody is brainwashed kinda guys. His points and theories doesn't even make sense. I've seen many letters and ideas like that, it reminds me of the days on the 6th floor hanging out with folk wearing potato chip bags on their head fearing the CIA can listen to their thoughts.
I feel kinda sad for this Mr. Eng, my theory is that he was raised in a bad neighborhood, got beaten up a few times at school as well as in the neighborhood. He harbors all this anger and resentment, creating a fantasy world ala his science-fiction book. poor guy.. He shoulda been a blogger and nothing else.
