Level Of Difficulty at Work: 0.25 out of 10
Time During Lunch: None

2 things to note, one more important than the other:
1)Welcome Octavius Maximus, i mean Ben. Poor kid has a nickname before he was even born!
2)Moto reaches 30k, actually moto reached 30k coming back from j's thanksgiving dindins, it's just i couldn't see anything to notice the odometer, and i keep forgetting to post this.

Now, where the !@$% did November go?

Here comes another story of 'it's not my fault, it's yours' file:
Kid runs away, kid hides at grandmas for a month or so. Moms finds out and wants her son to surrender (very few parents do this), so moms calls up the probation officer and tells them of the kids location. 2 days later kid in hiding goes and beats the crap out of someone, gets arrested, comes to court. Kid admits and pleas to the event. Mom complains that if her son was picked up when she called, kid wouldn't have gotten this new charge. It's all your fault.
Welcome to the blame game..

The Label says it all..
I'm so doing nothing that i've found an interesting flickr site to do something. OctoFerret is a lover of San Francisco and he has a little game called Guess Where in SF. He's posted 650+ pictures, some very abscure (a corner, some tiles, shadows even) of places around SF and yep, try to guess where its at. Most have been taken, i got one and i know where another is, i just need to check it out when i go back to work.. Wednesday..
So if your bored and happen to know where a certain set of stairs are located, go scribble him a message. Or scribble me a message and i'll scribble him a message.

PipeDreams:

Dad in law and i went in and tackled an annoying house problem, a partial clog of a drain pipe. When we first had the house, the old washer would dump it's watery load and sometimes the dumping exceeded what the pipe could handle and the result is this backup spill that just plain sucks. After a while doing the laundry would have a very high percentage of backflow, and we replaced them with our new high efficient front loaders now. Well after a while it too started to back up but not as often. But this past month it got too much. I tried doing the baking soda and vinegar down the drain thing but that didn't work. I tired the snake thing, but that went nowhere. So after consultation with the in-laws, we noticed that there is an pipe access on the outside of the house with a cast iron cap that seemed like it hasn't been opened since the house was built.
Well yesterday after we had our fill of turkey, we broke out the 2.5" pipe wrench and sledgehammer to nudge the cap open. After opening the cap there didn't seem to be any kind of goop, sludge, muck, or crap in it. We did a test by putting a water hose and seeing how much flow the drain can take.
The drain from the washing machine connects to the drain in the kitchen sink which then flows down into the main drain pipe to the city drain. Well the stoppage came up on the kitchen sink at about 1/2way. Pipes need to flow at 5gal/min but it was only doing half of that. So the only other way to get the crap out was with toxic death laden pipe flushing solvents. Its kinda easy, stick it in, leave it for 7-8 hours, and wash with hot water. We did this last night. I decided to go one further and use boiling water, the hotter the better.
We went to pescadero to pick up some bread and came back to flush the house again. With the hose connected to the side access it seemed to be stuck at a little more than half way. Fricking great, so we kept the flow going for a while, with moms in law at the sink, dads in law at the side and me controlling the flow of the hose, it eventually started to loosen up gradually. After about 2-3 minutes the flow picked up to the max that i could do as well as moms putting a pot of water into the kitchen sink. Woot! All the years of crud, muck, goop, and crap is out! Hopefully for a good while.
Now we can do our laundry once again effortlessly.

The Stuff Fluffielady's Dreams are made of.. Complete with the *Slirrrp*

i find it funny that of all nights to wake me up at 5am, the smoke detector had to beep it's brains out today. Went to nod off and at 8:30am the games began. Pulled out the brined turkey from its overnight soaking and got it ready to rock n roll.
Yesterday i headed to bed, bath n beyond and went hunting for one of those nifty digital thermometer / timer. When i arrived at bed bath n beyond, there was quite a long line at the Honeybaked store, it stretched past the now defunct Magnolia Hi-Fi!
Anyhow, we decided to use one of those heat resistant oven bags. Well cooking a 16 pounder was pretty fast, the alarm went on at 161 degrees at the thigh but something was weird. There wasn't much coloring, it wasn't that super golden brown. We didn't know if it was funky digital electronics (which seems to be my case, things never work exact to how i expect or want it to be) but we cooked it a bit more, another 30min. I think the coloring lied to us and the digital probe was spot on, because it was semi-dry on the top parts but still very moist on the rest. It's an evolution of sorts and next time, no bag, i think the bag steamed the turkey more than anything.
After, all the rest of the goods were made, a rib eye roast was added into the mix along with all the usual accoutrements. The rest of the familia came over and it was all good. Jennys pumkin pie was yum and it vanished quickstyle.
That concluded the noontime thanksgiving. Now for the thanksgiving dinner with Jerry-o:

Jordan N Jerry
Jerry n Vicky came up from LaLaLand with their newborn Juliana, shes cute n soo sleepyheaded, sounds like shes got that from jerry's side. Hung out with some old school buddies n chit chatted around. Jerry's spread involved half a cow, a pig, an armada of shrimp, and some steamed veggies. yumz, jordan had to sleep early and get ready for black friday at best buy at 4am, woo!

Talk about foodz, i predicted yesterday that theres gonna be a whole lotta foodage coming this weekend.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 0.10 out of 10
Time During Lunch: Medium-Long

I think if i remember this, i'm going to attempt to try 'End of the World Mondays.' What better day to do this than the dreadful monday.

Today is about going in over your head.
-The Average American spends 1-3% more than they make, (after or before taxes?) thats sweet! Go dig yourself into a hole!
-Speaking of digging a hole. i remember in my college days, one of my roommates got approved for a platinum card. He's a foreign student and in his origin nation, a platinum card is the elite status. (Remember silver and gold cards?) He was flashing that thing back at his country like it's no business and he got goodies out of it! He did the smart thing, cancel the card, yet posed with it wherever he went. Anyhow with credit card companies 'giving money away' as my dad tried to convince me. Now nobody can pay it off. Pay the minimum and the debt will just consume you.
-Your all probably bored of the whole sub-prime marketing but the 2 best ones i remember about a year or two ago while driving around oakland was:
1)130% financing guaranteed, no paperwork, no job verification, 100% approved. Woo!
and
2)Theres a car dealership, i don't know if it still exists but it was called 'Jewelry For Cars,' yep. Isn't that purdy?
-Stocks took a dump, again (ugh)

My coworker decided to bail on his loans for his second house. He applied for fun at a new residential development and somehow was approved. His credit rating isn't all that high. So the question was, just because you apply doesn't mean you need to accept it, because you know how slick talking some of those people at the welcome centers are and the pressure, oh the pressure. So he bought the house, and somehow didn't see the numbers until it's too late. Now a year later, with our reduced OT, he just gave up. Another short sale is about to be posted in the vast inventory of short sales.

Yesterday J invited us to his pre-emptive thanksgiving strike. It was J's first attempt at mastering the turkey and he did it quite well. Moist n Juicy Turkey, yummy sides good folks and Dance Dance Revolution after all those eats??
Got to hang out a bit with little Chloe n Lizzy, those cute silly little girls! So it seems that the balance is now tipping, and someone spilled the pregnant water amongst the crew. Kiddos shall be arriving in bunches soon, lordy!

Today my brother had a few friends interested in learning the skill of the firearm. Having never handled such pieces, they came over for an intro to my wares. After learning the basics and the rules of engagement we headed to Jackson arms to test their skills. Jackson arms was half full as we started shooting. After a few go arounds, they could handle on their own. They did pretty decently and loved their holy targets. I guess to bring back to their offices as wall papering.

So i've beat Hitman: Blood Money on the easy difficulty.. Thoughts:
-He picks up all these firearms but they aren't very viable in future levels.
-You can buy add-ons to a list of 'custom' firearms which are: pistols, shotgun, sub-machine gun, m16, and sniper rifle. On most levels the shotgun, m16, and sub-machine gun are rarely, if ever, used at all.
-To play at the harder difficulties, you need to start from chapter 1 again. ugh.

One last thing, if someone is supremely bored with their money and want to pass it along to me. I'd like:

The Current Guinness World Record holding Ultimate Swiss Army Knife
. Now in 2 years or so the one thats in my pocket will be 20 years old. But this ultimate sucker, i doubt this is rear-pocket worthy in my pants! It has a chain tool AND a 12/20gauge shotgun choke tool, Sweet!!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 0.25 out of 10
Time During Lunch: Medium

Todays fragment of a dream was interesting. I had to pick airplane stewardess dress colorings. I was looking at either a black color with red or white piping, or blue with red, yellow or white piping. Then i woke up.. *boo!*

I've been playing on the DS:
-Flash Focus, pretty fun, at times it can get frustrating but none the less.
-Brain Age2, it's not as fun as flash focus but its ok.

For the PC:
-Hitman: Blood Money.. It's cool, just like hitman 2, the only thing i don't like is:
You need to play the chapter all the way through, when you save it only works when your playing. Once you quit, saves are lost and you must start over again.
-Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30.. i don't like it, it's WWII redone over with an emphasis on team leading and using cover and covering fire to get to the enemy. It's different than run n gunning but it gets tedious when all you do is command one team to go one spot, lay fire, and you and your boys goes in for the kill. then repeat, over n over.
-i replayed a little of Half-Life 2 with cheats on, with the new x1950 pro video card, it's soo smooth and purdy with all the effects enabled.. It's nice!

Sorry about the flash reflection..

Finally found a cheap frame from frameplace.com. I've already roamed around a few stores for a white 12x36 frame, while there are a few and around 30$, none was the stylings that fluffielady enjoy. Ebay didn't have it (oh my!), and some frame places wanted an arm and a leg, i wanted something that doesn't cost more than the pic. So i find it there for about 26$ shipped, but it looked like one of those grey-market websites. I figure it took paypal and i can play with them if: the order never came, they never check their email, they don't exist, it's a one-man operation taking their candy dandy time, you know of those excuses. But no, i get a notification in 2 weeks that it's build and coming on over.
I hope the plastic window doesn't degrade or get weird in the coming future..
Cheap n good!

Bucket o Appos, 20+lbs of Pink Ladies for $11.50, big, crunchy n yummy!

Timestamped from 11/12..

Took the in-laws to Placerville, actually to Apple Hill, a land of flowy hills, christmas tree farms, winerys and apple orchards. From October till thanksgiving or so it's apples a plenty. It's like the pumpkin festivities, except with apples. At least the pricing was decent, .59-.79 cents per pound of any which apple, golden delicious, gala, fuji, granny, red, arkansas black (it's bland, ick!), mutsu, etc etc.
Came home with 2 half gallons of apple cider, 1/2 an apple pie, an apple cake (which tastes much like carrot cake), 20+ lbs of apples, a few antiques, and some tidbits from the vacaville outlets.
All day driving is slightly tiring though.

The dreams never end..

1st dream is a totally weird one. It felt like a video game, where aliens have invaded earth and they want to steal the english vocabulary, or zap it out of existance. The only way to save it is to alliterate 3 words in a row to some computer and it saves the words. It got strange on that on.
2nd dream involves the crew and we were at some victorian room on a cruise ship, but we were in WWI conditions. And my task was to teach the crew how to precision shoot in the prone position. We were shooting at a fireplace at short distances. It was kinda neat but again totally whack. Just because i haven't touched that certain rifle in 2 months doesn't mean it can summon itself in my dreams dangit!

BounceHouses kick ass. Except that now i think i bruised my side a little. We went to one of fluffielady's ex-coworkers birthday party for their daughter who turns 4. And you gotta have a bounce house for it, especially a Disney Princess themed one. Kids were everywhere, kid madness! None the less, after a bunch of people came n gone, there was a lull in the action and fluffielady and i went into the bounce house.
I'm down with owning one, taping up the edges of my snowboard and practicing in there. It'd be sweet, but people would be wondering whats going on at our place.
Another fellow ex-coworker sprouted a baby girl just a week before, and was shown off.
I tried some Sotol Hacienda De Chihuahua Anejo Tequila, it's pretty good, very smooth and quick with no nasty afterness to it, like patron silver but with slight differences. I might hafta hunt down one of these.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 0 out of 10
Time During Lunch: None

The past 2 days i've had a few dreams, but none were rememberable. Even though i told myself to remember one of them, of course with my ultra memory that doesn't work well.

One of the nifty goodness from the blood letting that i did was that now they do cholesterol testing. They've always done crazy virus testing like mad-cow, AIDS, now they do west nile, and cholesterol. My score was a 189, which is pretty cool 'cuz a real Cholesterol test requires 12 hours of fasting, no food, no water, nada. But for donating blood they'd like for you to eat a bit at their 'lounge'.

So as for work, i sucked and dropped a shot for qualifications. A freaking 98 out of 100, doh!
