Time During Lunch: Medium
Man yesterday was a wild ride, but it was good times, good times! I didn't get home till midnight! My venture began at 7am, to a bowl of Frosted Flakes. I got Delilah out and roamed off to Sacramento to do a ultra-mini 10-year (!?)College reunion of sorts. Well not really, it was just that a few peoples were meeting up and fluffielady and i were close by (107miles away, close enough). We find out that with the previous days of blazing heat that Sacramento was to be around 97 degrees and fluffielady wasn't feeling the heat. If its hot and theres air conditioning, its ok, but no-AC = *burning noise*. So she opted out of the road trip.
I get to Sacto and meet up with Eli (its been 2 years, i think) , Jen (since 96!) and Ian (5 years!). Things were still the same, except out weights and hair. Well the shenanigans were the same. I thought we were going to a Pacific Rim fair in Sacto. Nope, we're going to South Lake Tahoe, 'cuz jen has never been there. Ok, sounds good. Eat some Waffles, no chicken though (Roscoe's), and with that comes, Panos,Polehanging, Drank, and the usual tomfoolery.
On highway 50, theres many places to pull over and you can sorta get down to the American River. 9-Photo Stitch, 192 degree view. Its a bit rocky. The weather was a record setting 82 degrees! Oooo!

17-Pic 274 degree view of Zephyr Cove. It was pretty packed with tons of peoples there. The only beach to have a bit of inhabitants.
Hanging Out at Zephyr Cove. Hanging out with these guys felt like nothings change. Jen still beats up Eli. Ian and Eli have that certain attraction that only those two would have, the love is still strong since our college days. Thats a good thing.
So we roamed a bit, shopped at the ultra small outlet, had a few slices of Carmel Apple with Peanuts for lunch (?). Gambled at Harrahs, Harveys, same difference. Had a shot of Cabo Wabo Reposado, it wasn't that good to me. Kinda choppy tasting, not smooth.
After the drink, headed back to Folsom to Mikuni's for sushi, since everybody is now a sushi nut and hungry like savages. At 8pm its still pretty full. They have a pretty good deal there, a 65$ platter, and theres 5-6 variants. Its worth getting it, and you can feed 3-4 pplz. The food is always good there and fast, and our waiterdood was pretty candid about what sucked and what was cool for the day. Too bad there wasn't any Mizu No Shirabe sake. =\
Anywho, got done about 10pm, and headed back into the city of fog, to wake up at 6:30 to go at it, into the working world.

Ahh yea heres a few pics:
a 55 Picture Panoramic taken on twin peaks where the tour buses drop you off at. I was perched on the stone wall getting abused by the winds.
This is the monster 77 pic, which is the 55 from above and an additional 22 by moving southward to the stone wall next to the pay potties. It blended pretty well, with the focal movement.
48 Picture stitch, taken from the southern peak of twin peaks. Twin peaks actually has 3 peaks but the third isn't as prominent. Its a full 360 degree view.
Hmmz, where else can i go?

12 Pic Pano Stitch out my master bedroom. 190 degree view it says..
I had some time after work to run around Twin peaks. I have 2.5 different panoramics, one at the tourist spot, which took 55 shots, i moved to the side and took an additional 22, and the Hugin Stitching program noted 'possible movement.' The other panoramic is from the top of the southern peak of twin peaks. I did a 55 pic pano stitch and it took quite a while to process. I will do the 77 pic stitch, i got half way and it's 10:30pm. I will resume tommorrow, i should leave it on all night but i don't think i need that much time. Maybe if it took 1.5 hrs to go halfway. The 55 should be nice, it's an actual 360 degree shot, hopefully.
One other thing i did, since it was blustery and windy was try to hover with my jacket over my head like a parachute. Yea, i probably looked like a dufus on the top of twin peaks hopping around but with the winds blasting and then slowing it only worked once. And that one time was a feeble slowing descent, which still worked for me. I don't think i qualify to hover, but slowing down on a jump was good enough. It was kinda cold as well. Hopefully tommorrow it'll be up.
I filled up at $4.19 for supreme, i missed the 15$ mark by 20cents. I don't think its something to celebrate though.

Heres one from the last Board Meeting at Homewood. With the view of Lake Tahoe, not bad for 29$ lift tickets. Capt'N D is on my left, well half of him.. Lay back, listen to silence, except for the random skier / snowboarder here n there.

Picture day!
Matt N Jenny at Point Bonita with the Golden Gate in the Background
Today i hung out with Major Mucelli and his ROTC Brat pack for some basic Orienteering. Its not like back in the day style, run in the hills and tromp on the poison oak, but a more mundane style of exercise.
Captain Matt Cohen and his wife Jenny (Van) helped out. We hung out and mostly made sure the kids didn't roam off, we basically hung out in a pack. I got a tan, being the only one in shorts which was nice.
We were there for 3 hours or so and after the little nature hike was done us Alumni folk roamed to Point Bonita Lighthouse.
Last time i was there at Valentines, fluffielady and i met a metal door to the entrance. This time it was open, the neat thing about the place is an old rickety bridge that only 2 people at a time may be on.
Before i headed off, i found this image stitching program, i do like a good stitched panoramic. I still have my old photos of the panoramic from Sugar Bowl at my parents house. Its called Hugin Photo Stitcher, it does a good job aligning multiple points on recursive photos. Its so much better in a Panoramic then one pic.
