Level Of Difficulty at Work: 4 out of 10 (the madness was the ride to work!)
NapTime During Lunch: 31min

Fricking Accuweather this or LiveWeather That.. it all doesn't matter, you'll get jacked.. I wake up and do my get ready thing. I watch the weather and it's DopplerRadar StormTracker Crap thing, and the radar shows slight green spots (light rain) in santa rosa.. ok, cool my ride to work should be fine. 'cuz it wasn't supposed to rain in the afternoon. I open the garage door and see the streets are wet, i debated on bringing the rain gear or not.. i decided not to.. The streets were very wet and well it got me wet. Doh! Halfway to work, it starts to sprinkle, ok i can dig this. 5min later it starts to sprinkle hard, things start to get wet.. And of course, once your wet, you can't get any wetter. Well 3/4 of the way to work my tire gets a flat somehow.. lovely..

i had a theory stating that the ride to work determines your day. I thought it was going to be a bad day but i was assigned to the bossman position.. *phew* eeasy.. Got my bike fixed, found out two spokes were broke.
Got home and just worked on ALL my bikes, screw it, it's maintainence time. It's good to know that i can bring back my bikes tip-top.. Except, i did a bottom bracket change on my gary fisher with a Race Face Evolve XC ISIS Bottom Bracket.. mmmm Race Face.. the bad part is the spindles are a bit long and requires it's own specialized tool.. whata rip! I have two different bottom bracket tools right now and i need a third??! oi, anything to make the sucker work.. oh well, the AIM is tuned once again.. it's good to have a backup bike!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 6 out of 10 (Can there be any more interviews for me to pull?)
NapTime During Lunch: 27min

It's wierd to see clients of mine, whos been around for so long 1)go away, or 2) get sentenced for life. But after the realization, then you understand the gravity of what this person did. Most of my clients have this tattoo of the actors masks.. one laughing, one crying. Thats how life is nowadays, do all the illegal stuff you can now and suffer later. Life sentence.. man, suffer from now on.. Especially when your only 24 years old..

Weeee!
i just got DPT to tow a car yesterday.. Who else wants to play games? This car was parked where it blocked 1/3 of the driveway.. now wassup with that? Theres a car on the driveway, don't you think we might need to get out? Or better yet, if we had to go to work? It took about 40min to get it away, but hey, it delayed me for 40 min, i hope it took at LEAST 40 min for whoever owned the car to get it back. Probably 40min + tons of fees.. mwahaha

My brother gave me some Anime called Naruto.. Episodes of 9-50. But it seems that theres TONS more than just 50 episodes.. great! i'm at episode 26 right now!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 14min (Wouldn't let me sleep!)

Rode the moto in the rain to get to Bri later the day..
Lesson One..

Off to tutor the young grasshopper on the moto. Bri felt slightly overwhlemed with the power of the RR (RRRR!!!!). I just had to be there and nudge him a bit. There was a difference when he first started and when he ended maybe 45min later. Next step is Traffic n what not. He should be alright. You can do it!

Eeeease on the clutch..

Afterwards went to Roxannes.. One of the cool things that you might miss while driving a car is once in a while when i get to Burlingame on 101 south, You pass the It's-It factory. So you either smell Waffles batter or chocolate in the air.. Mmm chocoyummie..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 5 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 24min (Back to good ol napping again)

Work was whatever, that didn't matter. It was transporter time! I get the monies, then go to bri's.. We head off to the moto store at Fremont. Hung out n what not, saw the shiny blue motomoto.. '04 Honda CBR600RR (RaceReady? Are you?). Pimp Daddy meets up with us and secretly he wants a harley.. i saw it in his eyes.. Finally we get the bike n what not. The next part was where to eat.. Mr. Pimp, Where do we eat? Luckily we were waiting for the moto to get ready to ride as Bri and I, Grill Da pimp on where to eat. We eventually land back at the Banana Leaf, a Maylasian / Singaporean Restraunt.. Mmmm Roti Prata, a kinda thin n light tortilla with curry dip.. Very nice..
Off to go back home and it starts to rain when we get to Redwood City.. And through that experience, i think i've level'd up on riding in the rain. Once i felt a trickle of water run down my leg, it was just like riding a bicycle in the rain. Once your wet, you can't get any wetter. i'm not afraid of it no more.. Mwahaha!
So what do i think of the crotch rocket?
Plus:
----
Light, Agile. Very Quiet.
Short compared to my moto, i could look over the front!
Easy Going Power, but that might just be break-in period stuff.
The speedo has a clock! and a Fuel Guage! My bike i use mystic methods to determine time and fuel level.

Minus:
------
Smells, Moves and feels like a honda, thats scary for me.
Clutch release point is kinda far out, almost full release of the lever.
It runs oddly hot (odd to me), my moto on the freeway is around 170-180degrees, in street traffic it can go up to 205.. the higest i've seen on my bike is 210. The CBR on the highway is the same, 170-180, but on the streets it got up to 225 easy.. Maybe it's the very light weight oil for breaking in? And i think it's an electric coolant fan. Probably better than my waxball old school type but its odd to hear your moto start up.. then hear later the fan start up, if you can hear it start that is.. It's cool.

It's Moto Time.. Time to get Paul n Matty going now..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 4 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 34minutes of light napping

Woop!! Happy chinese new years!! Time to get your Monkey on!!
'Fass Meinin Affan an?' Forgot how to speel.. once again.. heh

There are staff meetings, then there are commanders meetings, and it ends at the chief meetings. As the higher up the ladder you go the more the focus is on the busy bees of the section. It also tends to make the fact that the higher ups want more, um, how can i describe it.. More and more from the busy bees. This usually begins by taking out things that are non-essential. What comes out of these meetings? Well what else but Memos.. Memos that come, stay around for about 2 months, then forgotten. Yesterdays memo is a blanket one. It's always that the few screws it up for the many and thats the rule of today. One of the things they want eveybody to quit doing is.. Napping on their lunches... doodoo! what to do?? Well today i know at least 3 others who were 'meditating' heh.. i too meditated but i was also trying to figure out if theres gonna be a nap-nazis floating around ready to snitch you off.
Its starting to feel like another day where it's the proletariats who are fighting the bourgeoisie once again. I thought the bigwig bosses were once little folk in the beginning. it seems like being bigwig messes up your ability to relate to the smallfolk..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 5.5 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 35min

Busy day busy day.. if it wasn't for my coworkers actually working.. heh.. No slug on my side of the line!

I wonder if theres a way to have that difficulty at work and the naptime thing there permanently.. *shrug* Anywho lately as i ride my bicycle to work everyday it seems as if a pattern is emerging thats kinda cool kinda ground-hogs day type of thing. For instance, when i ride to work, when i reach valencia blvd. theres a black man at the bus station, and usually the bus is just beginning to reach that bus station. I see him almost everytime (95%). Afterwards when i get to 24th and valencia i see puffyjacket girl sometimes (60%), and at Folsom and 11th theres this latin girl (80%)waiting at it's bus stop. Then when i go home, theres poorly dressed asian kid with his dad,(50%) at 20th and valencia. Homeless man with guitar in a doorway around 21st/22nd and valencia (75%). And the gangsters near Army street and Valencia (rarely). How odd is that?

Evans new shop of the moment is brought to you by Harrison and Bonini. Evan wanted longer bolts for this spacer thing for his quick-release steering wheel. Right when he said that i had a flashback of that place Harrison and Bonini. It's a store which sells nothing but nuts n bolts and anything that joins, thus the fastener store. Wingnuts included there berto.. The only downfall of this place is they wholesale which means you can't get 5 or 10.. the minimum is 100. Is that weak or what?? Evan is looking for a pan-head (buttonhead) hex head m5x16mm with a pitch of .8. At home depot, they only have pan-heads. Home depot has buttonheads but it's only philips or slotted style, not what evan wants. Same with OSH. Theres one ACE hardware where it's got some goodies, but evan called and they only have m5x14 or m5x20. Evan asks where else can you get it.. Where else but Harrison and Bonini.

It all began back in the day when we were playing with Radio Controled cars. The R/C cars sucked in which when you broke something it would cost tons of monies to replace. One of the parts were bolts.. Pan head M3x8mm's, at the hobbyshop it was mad how much it costed for like 5 of them. So we went to search for other sources. Off to Home Depot, Lowes, Mom n Pop Hardware stores. The same ACE as mentioned and then finally leading us to Harrison and Bonini. When we got there and talked to the guy we just wanted maybe 12-15. 'We don't sell in that small amount'.. oi! So what the guy did was put the 12 or 15 into an envelope and told us that we could have it.. and that it was a 'sample'.. that place rulez..

So the moral of the story is, if your looking for some different length bolts of somesort, go to the ACE hardware first, then if it doesn't work, then your stuck with one place left.. Harrison and Bonini. I'd put it on the approved list, but since they don't sell in small quantities it's not my flavor.

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 1 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 10min (Fricking woke me before i passed out!)

Hired 2 more peoples.. finally i got a full house, but i think drama is brewing. The max amount of workers that i could have is 12.. Lately it's been running at 10 people, two days ago it went down to 8.. Now it's 12, full packed n hopefully they'll handle it.. they gotta work as a unit.. but then we could just fire them.. heh

Roxanne hung out with Cat n Roger running around the EastBay.. Afterwards came over to the city n we all roamed a bit. There was a 'sale' at Tower records, 25% off all DVD's.. all i can say is Hah! they were all regular priced and beyond.. 19.99-29.99 for some titles! Goodness! Ate at S&E.. good old chicken with black pepper sauce. nummies

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 3 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 37min

Work was whatever, i've been laid with the task of looking for workers, but it's not my position to do so.. maybe it's a sign?

Loaded 200rnds of 68gr Match bullets for a coworker who doesn't even shoot much, but hey it's all about the $ i get out of it.. kinda wierd, my sidejob i guess.. The question becomes how much money should i make out of this? 20% markup seems resonable.. neakneak, still cheaper than custom made stuff. Wait.. my stuff is custom made.. (X-files kiddie voice)i made this... Whoa...
One of my Shooting buddies now call me 'the cook'.. Find the bullet recipie, i'll make them for u.. The funny part is theres maximum loads that should not be exceeded.. Like for the .223 the max load for this powder i use is 27.5grains.. I've filled 26.4grains and the powder is at the shoulder of the case. How much more can u put in? Well i've heard stories of vibrating cases filled with powder to fit more.. MORE POWER!! Goodness! Well i've made some 55gr's with 26.0 grains of powder for next years sniper prone match.. i'll see how these do and then make some more for the thompson/contended.. i dunno.. I've also started a bullet diary.. 'dear diary, ....' heh. I sense the madness is coming!
Found some 68gr hornady match bullets cheap at this one site. Pat's Reloading, the site is janky but the deals are good. 1000rnds of .224 68grain hornady hpbt match for 85$.. around 11$ to ship.. so it's about .10cents a bullet.. pretty schmoove.. Deals! Deals Deals! too bad theres no coupons, price matchs, deals like what the pimp does.. *sigh*.. 'dear diary.. need more deals..' heh

Weather at Donner Ranch: Partly Cloudy, Sun comes out, Very hot.. Sun gets hidden Very Cold.. Too extreme!
Type of Snow on the ground: Packed hard turning slightly slushy after 3pm. Fist Punch Yields a little to no movement.

Ahhh yea first board meeting of the '03-'04 season.. Off to Donner Ranch, 10$ tickets. That place is small! But it was ok for 10$. Jenny's beginning to master the bunny slope. See sometimes you do need a steeper bunny slope to learn better. The food sucks there, not recommended. Boreal's And Donner's food assortment is of the simplistic yet pricy kind.. 4$ hot dogs.. 2.50 french fries.. wassup with all this?
People argue that other places, like northstar, sugar bowl, squaw valley with their Penne Pasta with Chicken Alfredo n Pesto sauce is too much and will give HTS* and thus you won't be able to ride after. Which i can attest to. Yet the simplistic foods are kinda there to hold you over but yet it's a 4-dollar hot dog!
Evan had a goal in life and that was to eat at a claim jumpers restraunt. The only 2 closest places in the bay area is in concord or in Roseville, which is north of sacramento, and is also on the way to the board meetings.. We get there and evan decides to go all out.. He orders the "Ore Cart" 25$ What does it have?? What does it not have!

Rotisserie Barbecued Chicken, Baby Back Pork Ribs, Beef Back Ribs and Barbecued Tri - Tip And comes with side and bread choices.. Potato Cakes n Cheesy Garlic Bread.. ahuh.. Can you say HTS? Or can you say Ultra Atkins Diet? Well thats one less thing on his wish list..
Hmmz.. When should i go up for some more board meeting action...
*HTS (Happy Tummy Syndrome = Food Coma..)

NapTime During Lunch: 15min before lunch, 15min during lunch.. i coulda had at least 15min after lunch but never got to it.

Woohoo!! Happy Birthday Bert! it sucks that plans went sideways n then sideways again..

Brian n matty were done with their videotaping at 6am!! Brian then has moto class at 11:30am.. ahh yea.. Met up with Brian to check out the class and to see the riding action. I found out that brian wasn't done with his video. Goodness!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 4 out of 10 (ran Around like maaaad!)
NapTime During Lunch: 31min

Oi, ran around n around.. When we order fruits for the dining room, if i want 12 bananas.. you put down 12.. if you want orange juice bottles, they come in a dozen, you put down 1 for 1 dozen . Well i needed 4 dozen.. I put down 4, and when the supplies come, how many comes down? 4 individual ones.. Now the bossman job is like keeping supplies for the dining room for all 3 shifts. Thats it's main task. Fricking crazy, didn't have this. They didn't send that. This is bad, that is bad.. what in the world!!!

Anyways off to do bri's thing. It began like this. He just needed a digital video camera to record a 3-minute video of himself for this kung-fu stunt team. So we meet up at There.com at 6pm. And find a suitable place. We find it and then setup.. well we watched some downloaded videos and our project starts blooming into this movie production with different angles, fades and cuts, music n all.. We got about 30seconds of the video when i left at about 10.. i really needed to go sleep for work.. goodness!!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 4 out of 10
NapTime During Lunch: 36min

Awww yea at work i am the computer god.. 'you have a computer right?? you have the internet?' Yes.. the internet has me.. the internet has you all also..

Off to the range, and my .40's with 4.0 and 4.1grains of powder worked excellent for the USP, but not the Sig nor the Para. Well it did work but they didn't lock back.. Not enough juice i surmise. I had some rounds left over from a factory box of ammo and my goodness! The reloaded stuff was waaaay underpowered, it was extremely pleasant to shoot. It was a low sounding *pop*.. The factory ammo was harsh and loud.. a *boom* what a difference ammo makes. I think i need to shorten the length of the bullets.. 1.163" is still a bit long. But the 1.185 for the para works great! i've gotta try some 4.2's n up. more ammo for me.. I made some 3.7grs of powder at 1.185 for the para and the para didn't fully function! *eek!* Doublefeeding and failure to ejecting.. Well at least i know the low end. Which is better to go than passing the high end..

Ugh, sorry to hear about Bert's Grandpa passing away. This year is becoming a wierd one..

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10 (10+ hours in the hospital!)
NapTime During Lunch: zee-ro
Pages of Nelson Demille's Charmed School read while at the hospital: 142

Well.. at 7am, they told me to go to the hospital to hang out with this pregnant lady, well i get there and the hospital staff said it's covered. I get back at 7:35am and then at 8:20 i was sent to the hospital following the ambulance, talk about ambulance chaser. heh.
I had to hang with this guy who was having a 'sickle cell crisis'.. It doesn't sound like a real thing but i guess once in a while people with sickle cell go though this crazy pain all over their body. I saw this guy injected with probably at least 8 units of morphine during the 10hours of hanging out. And it was kinda useless for me. They kinda knew that they couldn't release him if he's in that much pain. The medics coulda sent them to the hospital unit which had room, but Nooo.. must be in observation and then the team of doctors come to agree. Heck i've been with him for 10 hours, i agree.. Bring him up..
It's interesting to see what nurses can do to find a vien for the IV. Oh and i saw someone getting their scalp stapled.. ya whoa mama!

Weee!!

Roxanne came over and we went to the Legion of Honor's Degas Sculpture Exhibition. Edgar Degas (1834–1917), French impressionist artist and sculptor, with his rare collection of sculptures done in the 'lost-wax' technique. He has a thing for horses, ballet girls and other females washing themselves.. The sculptures have an energy to them, as if frozen in time. Kinda nifty, the other nifty part is, usually all the city's meuseums and what not are free the first wednesday of the month. But at the legion of honor, they don't do that, they have tuesdays free, Every Tuesday.

Oh ya another product for the approved list.. i forgot i even got it. It's one of those things where i have but never notice.. To hear but not listen, to see but not saw. yanno what i mean.. I was cleaning my moto with Honda's Pro Cleaner and Polish 7$. It waxes and cleans, one of them waterless wash thingies and it works excellent.. I should clean my car with it, but hmmz, maybe i should..

Time To clean the AR: 21min

i never knew how fast these 'hydrosorbant' materials are. But at least you can heat them all back up. 3hours at 240 degrees.. Well my house is a pretty damp one. Did alot of little things today. Got a haircut finally. Tumbled some brass, chamfered some other brass. Cleaned the AR. I wanted to replace my bottom bracket for the Gary fisher but i can't find some tools (like always). Its been a while since i've destroyed something on my bicycle. I didn't want to go to some far off place for food so i went to the old school favorite.. Roxies.. Still good sandwiches. But for 4.50 for a junior size? whoa mama!
Anyways gotta do more research, just found out that i have a .223 wylde chambering and that all .223's aren't drilled the same. Same with 5.56mm chamberings and ammo.. Oi!

Sunday, January 04, 2004

Ahhh yea, it begins..
468-8x! Ultra Sweet, two points away from master class.. I guess i'm expert class now..

It was a very cold day out there, by the time i got there around 7:50am some of the soggie mug froze over. Tis interesting to see. The drive up was nice and peaceful, must lower heartrate.. Overcast skys, it was pretty hard to see sausalito though. I finally got to use some of my coupons from all the last matches that i won.
Since the upper had only 20-rounds gone through it, the locking lugs of the bolt were pretty tight. I knew i would have some problems during the match. It affected me but not much, since i scored so high. The bolt wasn't locked forward all the way and i had to clear the jam by banging the rifle on the floor while pulling the latch. I think i banged it so much that the trapdoor on the buttstock came open, the latch broke off! it was getting weak! During the Standing to sitting position the bolt wasn't full forward and that jacked me up. And i guess if you try to clear it, then thats it. No Alibi shooting, which i think is retarded. But they let me shoot it. I only had one round off, so i woulda been down 91points!(eek) inbetween, i drowned the bolt in lube and it started to work again. I guess that wilson combat oil is good for pistols but maybe not for rifles? or maybe i just don't use enough. My shooting diary was splattered in oil afterwards! It was all good for the next two stages. I knew i got a good score but i thought i had room to improve. My standing to sitting was bleh. It'll all work better, hopefully next month. So i got my shooting plaque from the sniper shoot, neatos!
Next years nimitz match i'll go at it again with my thompson contender and bipod.. mwahaha! I was thinking of getting a match barrel for the T/C but i dunno, the T/C doesn't go up to .308! Weak!!
Afterwards, it's off to the gunshow, i was looking for a new buttplate, and some ammo boxes for more .223's (everybody wants some reloads), and a springfield 1903.. but nope, nada. I coulda bought this cute plush frog pillow for roxanne. But what ever happened to buying gun stuff at gunshows?? Everybody is selling knives and swords. You can get the finest quartz, t-shirts, cell phone accessories, and what not. I dunno if i'm going to go back to it anymore.
Master class.. yes.. thats all i want, and i think i can get to it. Thats another new years resolution i suppose.. a score of 470+ woot!
I guess i'll hafta start an ammo count, the shooters say that a barrel change should occur at 5000rounds.. Kinda like an oil change!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 2 out of 10 (would you like to work for me? Good work is REALLY hard to find!)
NapTime During Lunch: Got Knocked Out! 41min.

So i accept the challenge, to try to master this song on the Karaoke Revolution for the PS2. I've got my Fresno buddy Andrew, he knows the words to this song. This has gave me my first new years resolution; To learn that song and to own it on the game! Yea right, but at least i'll try until the novelty wears off.

Made some 75 gr. ammo, i wonder how it'll workout. Ooo my first ammo for profit! mwahahha.. 3 boxes of 25 of this ammo i've found for about 16$ a box (48$) but i've come to figure that the 85rounds i've made cost about 24$ in materials.. ToAsTy Ammo Productions Corporation?

Happy new Years!!

Level Of Difficulty at Work: 4 out of 10 (fricking rain)
NapTime During Lunch: nega-tivo

Woohoo somehow i got moved up in the ranks and was roaming the streets of san francsico in a patty wagon.. Hook'em up.. and we deliver! I brought in oh about 6-7 angry drunk folk. 2 of them were the real vocal types.. Typical comments include 'why don't you go get real criminals?' 'whatcha gonna do beat me with a night stick?' People seem to have a fascination with the night stick.. wassup with that? So working from the usual 7am-3pm.. and today working 5pm-4am.. holy cow.. *moo* i got home real tore up. I slept for like 5hrs, and got to the possee up at the dimsum place. Ate a bits n was cool.
Roxanne n i went to watch The Last Samurai.. i liked it quite a lot. Alot of japanese culture and mentality. It's about change and modernizing and the ones who resist it. An example would be like Levi's 501's, it just changes the world. Russian resisted it, eastern bloc of europe resisted, china and japan resist it. The cinematagraphy was excellent, of course the snow covered cherry blossom trees are always quite beautiful. The bond shown by the characters was beautiful. This is one of them films which moves people.. These are the films i watch, the ones where you are moved, things in which aren't shown but expressed and felt.
I wished i did Kudo, the japanese art of the long bow. Too many hobbies already.. Thinking of which, i must make some 75 grainers for the 600 yards.. Well tommorrow that is..
